Envy 15 360 t: T5K88AV orderly but laptop said Prod ID is T5K66AV-WHY?

Why everything that concerns the order of my living room of the T5K88AV laptop, but then the laptop shows up with T5K66AV would be stamped on the bottom of the laptop.  Interestingly, something arises relating to an infrared camera.

How will I know if I got the good laptop?

If you have customized the options rather than just buy a "ready to ship" that would have a number of different products.

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download Realtek HD Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp72001-72500/sp72002.exe

When finished, press and hold the Windows key and press R

In the run window, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.

In Device Manager, expand sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the Realtek device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp71501-72000/sp71883.exe

When the reinstallation of Chipset is finished, stop the laptop.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f9 to load the default values (sometimes it is f5, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

When windows has reloaded, open your download folder, right click on the installer of Realtek and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, reboot the laptop and let windows load completely for a few minutes before checking.

Immediately after the start of my new laptop HP Envy, I noticed a continual noise coming from the top right, above the numberic key. It's a click rotation, static noise and what looks like spinning. The noise resembles the hardrive treatment, however it is continuous with diferent sounds coming in waves. I read a few other complaints with the same question, but no solution. Noise is not arrogant but extremely annoying and can be heard in a quite room. I made sure to day/download the most recent included drivers and BIOS updates, which did nothing.

The HP Envy 15 360 t x I received directly from HP was a major problem, not to mention the noise. It would not be closed. Every time I have would shut down the laptop, the laptop back on itself. The only way to shut it down was a closed hard, where you have to press and hold the power button for several seconds. I tried several ideas services troubleshooting HP customer and nothing has worked. I have Windows 7 Professional installed on my HP Envy X 360 15 - u010dx. My problem is to find the drivers to get everything on this laptop works perfectly. I've searched high and low. I found a few, but some of them are not installed. Compatibility problems.

Can someone direct me please where I can get the correct drivers? Thank you.

    Hello:

Yes, I was afraid that this latest driver would not work.

The only other suggestion I can offer would be to try the Lenovo driver linked in the thread below...

This touchpad driver should work for you...

This package provides the driver that allows the Synaptics TouchPad in the notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The pilot turns the touchpad General (for example, double-click and scroll) feature and provides a user interface.

  • HP ENVY x 360-m6-w103dx (ENER: battery life)

I want to know what what is the normal battery time of the HP ENVY x 360-m6-w103dx (ENERGY STAR) at full capacity.

    Audio = running in background

= Buffering a video on the internet

= Download of origin, steam, IDM data at the same time

= Play a game on the average result

My laptop don't survive for 2 hours, when the above items are open. I just want to know is my laptop gives me good battery life? I think my battery is little damaged because when I bought it, I did not wait so that he can be fully charged. I disconnected the power cable and started using it.

I do the test battery or something like that for the health of my battery!

With everything what's happening 2 hours is probably not too bad. You did not damage the battery by the way you used it. Lithium-ion batteries do not require the kind of special treatment that many people still think needs batteries to laptop, from previous types of batteries not sold in the past 20 years. The x 360 has provoked much criticism as his real self, as HP announced very long service life, up to 12 hours. People become somewhere between 2 and 5 hours based on only a sample of people who are unfortunate enough to be able to post here. You have a battery of test utility built into the laptop, if you press F2, you put into the diagnostic screen. Run diagnostic and post back with the results.

If you want to get optimal autonomy must primarily turn down the brightness of the screen, but also avoid opening multiple windows and anything intensive graphics. You do everything possible to shorten the duration of the battery.

-the first is for the x 86 and x 64 so I put them in a directory c:\drivers\glb

    c:\Drivers\x86

    c:\Drivers\x64

    (1) copy the ISO files from the DVD to install Windows 7 in a directory - c:\temp\dvd_files

-you know what image to update because the install.wim file contains all the images (except Enterprise).  If installing 64-bit Home Premium - that would be index 2

    -dism/mount-WIM /wimfile:c:\temp\dvd_files\sources\install.wim / index: 2 /mountdir:C:\temp\mount

Copy your files to USB and everything should be good.

I forgot something.  The boot.wim file has two images.  So after step 2, you must do exactly the same thing again but on index 2 like this:

    mount the boot.wim file

    -dism/mount-WIM /wimfile:c:\temp\dvd_files\sources\boot.wim / index: 2 /mountdir:C:\temp\mount

    DISM / image: C:\temp\mount / Add-Driver driver:c:\drivers\glb

Currently, I have a problem with the laptop keyboard and touchpad. They work but are acting weird. Whenver I type, much of the time, the cursor moves elsewhere on the line or a different line. Words/lines get chosen at random.

Wanted to know if anyone has seen this behavior before and have a resolution for this. I tried to use an external keyboard and that works fine, so I know its got to be pilot releated.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

I wanted to join you and help! I understand you downgraded the operating system on your HP ENVY x 360-15-u493cl Notebook PC 10 from Windows to Windows 7. Now, you have a problem with the keyboard and the Touchpad.

There's no drivers for Windows 7 systems and you lack some of the special features. Here is a linkso that you can understand your right to demotion (although it is said for Windows 8, it is the same for Windows 10).

Generally, if the WANT of HP x 360-15-u493cl Notebook PC does not get upgraded to Windows from another operating system and instead, 10 Windows 10 has been a new installation on the laptop, it is very difficult to return to a different operating system.

You can try to use the Microsoft Fix it tool: Microsoft provides an automatic diagnosis based on web and the claim for compensation. Go to the Microsoft Web site hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows (in English) and click the green run now button. Follow the on-screen instructions. If the device still does not work, proceed to the next step.

If it does not, please follow these troubleshooting steps provided:

    • Beginning
    • Search for Device Manager
    • Search results, open Device Manager.
    • Click on display
    • Show hidden devices.
    • Click the arrow next to keyboards.
    • Right click on the name of the keyboard device.
    • Select uninstall.
    • Continue deleting the names of devices in the category keyboards until the feature of all the names have been uninstalled.
    • Restart the laptop twice.

NOTE: Please repeat these steps for the TouchPad in device as Manager.

I found a document of troubleshooting for you to try called Portable keyboard troubleshooting.

Here is a document for you called using the TouchPad and ClickPad (Windows 10).
