Envy 15 laptop: NVIDIA Geforce 840 M with HP Envy 15 Lapytop - works with Adobe Premiere Pro

I had this HPEnvy a couple of days and wonder for how long is more. I use the laptop intensively for video

Edition, often away from home. At first, everything was fine. Now, just a couple of days later, it will often start Premiere Pro with 'record and playback' options greyed out, even if the day before, it is not grayed out. When this happens, video playback in Adobe Premiere, he turns for a few seconds and then becomes very jerky and stuttery.

I tried to update all THE drivers video card.

I noticed that there are two video cards appears in Device Manager. "One is the NVIDIA Geforce 840 M, the other appears sometimes as ' Microsoft based *" and sometimes as Intel *. If there are two graphics showing?

I know you tell me to Adobe, but I think that something happens BEFORE first gets a peek in.  The laptop seems slow when loading any software. Just for the record, I uninstalled first Pro CC and have restored the laptop is "as delivered" condition. It took time, of mcourse, but didn't improve questions.

At the current stage at the present time, I can't use the envy 15 it is recommended locations.

I would be grateful for any advice as to why this is happening. Someone at - it of another more it?

Thank you very much for your time and expertese.

Alan S.

It's been a while but my suspicion of power supply are correct. I replaced the power supply and it is reliable works as expected. I don't know what was wrong with the original, low voltage, main ripple?

Thanks for your time. Problem solved.

Okay, so I downloaded and installed the creative cloud. I try to download Adobe Premiere track because I think with the purchase of the product. However, after a wait so * (excuse the language, you don't know how frustrating it is) long to download, I do not know if it is downloaded or not. He tells me it is installed, but the program does not open. I tried to uninstall the program to try to reinstall it again, but it gives me just the "1% to 99%", but it continues to tell me that it is installed in my computer. I don't know whether or not it installed because I had to wait long hours for her download and he continued to get errors from each and every time. • Trying to save a film set up with Adobe Premiere Pro on a DVD to play on DVD player...

I am trying to record a film shot in Premiere Pro on a DVD to be played on a DVD player. I tried all the formats do not work, I use a DVD-R disc, tried to save in Media Encoder as well to change it to see if there is a difference. I am new to Premiere Pro and encoder, so I wonder if I missed a step somewhere...

A DVD must be "created" - you do not just burn a multimedia file on the disk. Data must be encoded somehow, some folders, flags on the disc structure, etc. in the order so he could answer DVD spec to play for set-top players.

You will need to export using the appropriate "MPEG-2 DVD" format and preset, then hold these assets Adobe CS6 Encore authors a DVD. Still is not included with the CC, but you can always download it, see the instructions here - CS6 still not installed with creative cloud

  • GeForce 830M and Adobe Premiere Pro

Hello. I'm a newb. The Nvidia Geforce 830 M (http://www.geforce.com/hardware/notebook-gpus/geforce-830m/specifications) is compatible with Adobe Premiere Pro?
Because it is not listed here: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/system-requirements.html

But I've seen a Geforce GTX 650 TI works with Adobe Premiere Pro, and it is not too much.
I have read that works in Adobe with CUDA and the 830M also works with CUDA.

GPU-GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 970 for Adobe Premiere Pro CC (2015)? Yes or no?!

Hello. I would buy GIGABYTE GPU GeForce GTX 970 4 GB but I can't find the map on the website of Adobe system requirements. What GPU will work for Adobe Premiere Pro CC (2015)? Is activated GPU acceleration? Thanks a lot for your reply and advice in advance. Martin

They tend to cards list itself more, as they did... so they list the requirements for cards that work with the programs. Who are a minimum of 1 GB of vRAM and a few other things. As the production of internal software of the card, which is like a '3.0' or whatever and all 900-series cards are way beyond that... so with a 4 GB of vRAM card, the other issue is the number of cores CUDA has?

Current recommendations are to stay above 1 000 CUDA cores... .and most 970, I've seen are listed with hearts CUDA along 1600... so it should be good. I myself use a 970 GTX w4GB vRAM. Now... a good GPU does not in itself and make an editing machine who shouts, as only certain things go by the GPU in PrPro in any case. A bad can certainly slow things, however.

Any AMD or NVIDIA GPU on 768 VRAM is approved to operate for the Mercury playback engine GPU acceleration. Any GPU are only not should work, but it is not just one of those that we have tested or recommended.

Keep in mind, this list of GPUS are recommended. If they are not on the list, this does not mean that they will not work. They will do it. I'll see if I can add some verbiage to the minimum requirements to make this point more clear.

  • Adobe Premiere Pro CC - Visual works, no audio with MOV

I have a clip on the timeline that the signal is not triggered, but the Visual works.

The file is a MOV and appears gray, not blue like other clips.

This is my first time working with Adobe Premiere Pro CC, so I'm a novice at this program, but not video editing.

    All suggestions are welcome!

    Is there a work around?

  • Adobe Premiere Pro bug with Mac News El Capitan. Project window bugs when paused/stopped (including screenshot)

I just upgraded from Yosemite to El Capitan, and when I started editing with Adobe Premiere Pro, my project window would look like this in pause/stop:

    Screen Shot 2015-10-16 at 9.57.00 PM.png

If you had read this forum for 2-3 weeks, you would have seen a TON of these... and there are also many other problems of El Capitan. Not only for Adobe, but for all kinds of software. Heck, even the crowd of MS Office is angry against El Capitan!

If you can, roll back to Yosemite... There is a thread, you should find in a search with the statement on this.

Otherwise, to do this, go to project settings... Acceleration of mercury... and together for the only software rendering. A box should then appear, and in this document, select "remove the Previews. Close & restart.

And... screaming Apple to get them to pay some attention to their 'old style' user-base of the computer. They fell in love with devices, and you're so old school... at least for them...

  • Need computer laptop recommendation - better for editing in Adobe Premiere Pro

I'm trying to looking for a new laptop and need recommendations based on how I use the laptop.  I produce videos and mainly use the following programs: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro CS2, Adobe Encore DVD.  I also use other software such as AutoFX PGE7.0 of photo editing.

I currently have a HP Pavilion which is about 5 years old.  This office has the following specifications:

HP Pavilion PU131AV / a1050y, Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.20 GHz, 2 GB RAM, Windows XP MCE, SP3 32 bit, Nvidia GeForce 6600

I believe that with a new laptop, I was able to create my videos more efficiently.  If you have any input as to what I need in a laptop for my specific purpose, please let me know.

    Thank you very much

  • Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects works well with the merger?

    Hey everybody,

I'm in the middle of a semester at the University and I use Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects (Windows version). I was wondering if the merger would work well with these programs? I intend to the latest update of merger next week.

The mac I use is an iMac in August 2008 (running 10.5.6). 3.06 Ghz, 4 GB RAM, 1 TB HD, and a Nvidia GeForce 8800. I also install Windows XP Pro edition and the value of using two processors and 2-3 GB of RAM.

I will also put it on a new account make sure that practically nothing is running while im current merger.

I use this for my final college.

Edit: I forgot to mention. I use CS3. My school has not yet updated in CS4.

In addition, you think that a 64-bit version of Vista will work best and then 32 bit XP on this partition?

I love Fusion as much as anyone here and use it a lot. But, in saying that...

You use this something really important - your final college. You need to perform at its best performance with as few problems as possible because you don't have a lot of time in your semester left (in the grand scheme of things).

My advice - do not experiment. Work around the merger (as heretical as it may seem on this forum) and first and AfterEffects in a punt in native mode Windows XP OS that is on a BootCamp partition. Video editing will focus on i/o and graphics of your system performance - and nothing works better for this than the native access to the system.

Running two processors in a virtual merger with computer on a machine with 2 hearts can lead to better performance and is not recommended.

  • License with Adobe Acrobat Pro problem

I have a problem with Adobe Acrobat Pro as part of Adobe Creative Suite CS 6 on Mac OS X 10.11.6: Adobe Acrobat does not start. Whenever I try to open a pdf file or the itsself program (Acrobat), Acrobat appears inside the docking station, as well as within the monitor activity for a few seconds, but never actually opens and then disappears from the docking station and the activity monitor. No error message appears, namely, what is the problem.

During the last two weeks, I tried the suggestions basically all troubleshooting I found on the web several times, mainly:

    • Try to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Acrobat by itsself as well as all of the Creative Suite (of course, using "Adobe Installers")
    • Running the Creative-cloud-Cleaner on my computer after uninstallation and before the re-setup
    • Deactivate and reactivate my license Creative Suite (using InDesign to perform this task, given that Acrobat does not open)
    • etc.

More funny thing is: when I try to deactivate the license via InDesign, Acrobat will not show even as one of the programmes concerned, see attached screenshot.

    PastedGraphic-1.png

That is why, in my view, the problem could be a licensing problem. The reason why I had the problem in the first place, could be the following: I accidentally uninstalled Adobe Acrobat while being offline. After that, as mentioned above, I tried- and reinstall the program and all of the following several times while being online - but no result.

I'm happy for any suggestion. Assistance telephone Adobe doesn't seem to be available for this product and I have redirected to this forum when you try to start a chat support with Adobe, I'm happy for all the help from the community!

PS: I guess that's not relevant, but I'll talk anway: another application, "Adobe Crash Demon" shows within the activity monitor, every time I open InDesign (but isn't, when I try to open Acrobat). The content of the error message does not mention Acrobat.

    Hi kglad,.

Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, I couldn't find very useful advice in the log files, because I'm not very experienced in the search for log files and I could not find solutions to the error messages on the web.

But, fortunately, an update of the system for Mac OS Sierra finally helped me to solve the problem. Obviously, the update changed some system parameters and / or preferences, and I finally could start once Adobe Acrobat. He is still vulnerable, however. It seems, I'm having some trouble with my graphics, too, but I guess I'll be able to fix those shortly.

I am very happy, Acrobat is finally running once more!

Thanks for your support, I'll mark the issue as resolved.

    Kind regards

    Evelin
