ENVY 7645: printers

Well, this should be easy to answer, but so far HP has not been able to help. When I plugged my printer I threw the adapter two 4 sons. The printer will receive faxes, but not to send them without this adapter. All I want to know is where to buy one as soon as possible. HP was wrong when they sent me to Wal-Mart, Radio Shack and Office Max are not any help either.

I know that I can order one through Amazon with 3 weeks to ship to me and I need to send a fax now. Thank you

  • HP Envy 7645: 3 error message 5 x

I was able to print my cards clubs 3 x 5 on my HP Envy 7645 in July and in August.

It's something I do every month and must be able to do it on my computer.

I just went to do new members and I get this error message-

"Short paper. the printer cannot print on paper shorter than 4.9"/12.5cm,... »

Do not know what is happening, I was printed this card on this printer for the last two months.

I see no more an option for the 3 x 5 card.  I tried to put the cards into the long way, but the part not tighten up to the cards and they begin to slip.

What I can do, I have to be able to print these cards of 3 x 5 on my printer?

    Hello @2rubes,.

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you get an error message when you print on 3 x 5 cards to your HP Envy 7645. The error message is "too short paper. the printer cannot print on paper shorter than 4.9"/12.5cm'. You were able to print on this size and now you get the error.

I believe that the following document can be useful to the 4 x 6 print troubleshooting; 'Paper mismatch', or 'Difference of paper size' Error Message When printing.

  • HP Envy 7645: HP Envy 7645 does not print after installation (Windows 8 64-bit)

I have a weird problem with the HP Envy 7645. After going through the movements to print anything, documents word to pages web, the printer does not print the document and somehow work not even end in the windows print queue. I ran all the diagnosis of HP and there is no connectivity problem, be it wireless or USB connected. No one else in my family have printing problems (we use XP, use another 8.1 and a mac user). The printer prints a test page and a page of diagnosis of the HP software, but will fail to print a windows test page 8. Also the windows 8 printer troubleshooting tool detects any problems with the printer. I'm a bit of a loss.

I saw a similar question on these cards with the HP Envy 5530 and wonder if it should be the same solution. However, after watching this Board, it requires the name change of a different .dll extension that I don't see with the 7645, but I was wondering if it could be something similar. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

UPDATE: I solved the problem yesterday, but not by the above method, I had tried earlier. I tried a solution for the 5530 envy and it worked. I completed all the steps, including get adobe flash. Only, I have encountered a problem and has been updated to adobe flash. It would download, but as soon as it starts to install, I get a message: "this user has not sufficiently privleges." If you get this error, I'll post the links I used to solve the problem below the solution. I do not guarantee they will work, but they did for me. If not, just follow the step by step solution below:

EDIT: I forgot to mention that, before using the links to solve the problem of permission with adobe, I had created another account to administrator in Windows 8 and activate the default Administrator account, which is hidden. None of these solutions had solved the problem, but you can try these first, despite the fact that the difficulty of a temp.

  • HP Envy 7645: Envy 7645 unable to connect to web services

I have a new 7645 envy that cannot connect to web services.

    I tried the things:

Verified Internet access. "The report of ' the Web access test results" printers displays "No problems found"

Checked the wireless connectivity by connecting to the Server Web Embeded printers

I put statically (primary) DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (secondary)

The IPv4 address is assigned by DHCP, so I changed to static (manually) assigned

Re-checked wireless connectivity by connecting it to printing Embeded Web Server with static IP address

Many printer restarts to ensure that the changes have taken effect. (Have you tried turning off and on again?) (HA!)

    Connected to the https://www.hpconnected.com website

The printer is registered on my devices tab

The State of the printer is 'offline' (I assume that this would change if the web services were working)

    Any help would be appreciated.

Please see the document which contains the instructions for use of HP on a Chromebook print.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c04683559

Download the application of 'HP Print' on the Chrome Web Store, then run it.  Add your printer by typing the IP address on your network.  (You can find it in the Configuration section of the network on the control panel of the printer.)

Now, try to print something, either by pressing Ctrl-P, or by using the menu option 'Print' in Chrome.  A window opens showing the 'Destination' of the file.  The first time he usually shows 'Save as PDF' as the default.  Click on the button 'Change of Destination' and select your printer.

This app works fine for me!

  • HP Envy 7645 e-all-in-one-seri: screen scanning / Scan to computer / select a computer

The screen scanning / Scan to computer / select computer

"Select computer" shows a computer that no longer exists... How can I remove the computer? Before getting rid of the computer, the printer software has been uninstalled.

Hello there! Welcome to the forums @SandyLY

I read on the way in which you no longer have a certain computer, however, the printer it still lists as a detection option of.

    1. I'd say trying to power cycle the network devices first, which can remove this PC in the list of printers:
Turn off the printer and the computer and unplug the router for 1 minute (do not press the buttons on the router).
Plug the router back in and wait another minute, turn on the printer and the computer.

Check the printer to see if the PC you have more is always listed or not.

    2. If the PC is still listed on the printer, check out this guide to set up the scan of the computer to the correct computer:

A "found no computer', 'Necessary connection' or 'unsuccessful analysis" Message appears for HP ENVY 5640, 5660, 7640 and Officejet 5740, 8040 e - all-in - One Printer Series

Good luck, I hope this helps

If the printer does not by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
    • Tip: make sure that the printer is plugged directly into the wall, avoiding bars power and surge protectors. This ensures that the printer is full on.
