EOS M accessory Grip

Anyone who uses the EOS M with the EF adapter probably knows the major problem of this great theory installation - balance. Compatibility EF was the reason number one, I bought the M, mainly for lighter weight and no slap shutter. It works well with the privileged on AF lenses, but with zooms or manual focus, it really does balance the difficult camera by rotating the zoom or focus rings. The grip on the M is way too small to support the weight of the largest EF lenses, not to mention the mount EF - M was not supposed to bear a lot of weight, so the tripod on the EF adapter.

So I got to thinking, why not an accessory grip that screws in the bottom of the EF adapter? It would be very simple to mount on the tripod adapter support (or better yet, remove the adapter from tripod and screw directly on the EF adapter, with a rounded joint more support) and Gush a handle molded to meet the existing handle. It should be just a half inch solid somewhere really nice to hold.

I throw the idea out there to see if anyone likes it, and maybe someone with a 3d printer would try prototyping one. If there is enough interest, maybe it's a kickstarter campaign.

SOLVED!

Here's a grip and a thumb rest for you! I ordered it.

  • IPhone battery drain after fixing accessory fan

I have a version of the iPhone 6 s 9.3.5, 64G, 55.5 GB avail 22.4 GB cap. My battery was fast draining after my friend inserted a fan accessory. There was a time when I slept and it was 100% and when I wake, it fell to 35%, but I turned my phone into airplane mode. I tried to disable notifications, background app refresh, locations, etc. And yet it flows easily. I need to reformat my phone?

View-> battery settings and under "battery use" see what apps consume your battery.

There are very little chance that connect an accessory in the past had any impact on your current battery life, except if it has been broken and ruined your phone somehow. (And I mean hardware, not software)

for the future, make sure you always use MFI (Made for iPhone) certified accessories.

  • This cable or accessory is not certified popup while not connected iOS 9.3.4

I've updated to 9.3.4 iOS on my iPhone 6 more this morning. Now, this afternoon, I get a popup every few minutes saying "this cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPhone." I'm not connected to a cable or accessory. Support Apple advises to do a hard reset, which I did. After a few minutes I received once again the context menu. Not plugged into anything.

Never received that message before today. The only thing I know that has changed is the software update 9.3.4 (G 13, 35).

Similar experiences please mark as I have this issue too. I saw another post here, a user with an iPhone 5 with this exactly the same problem.

    Hi ccphd,

I understand that you get an error that the accessory is not certified, despite not having anything that is connected to your iPhone. I know it's important to have your device works reliably, so I am pleased to provide you with tips to help with this.

What is an Ipencil and and keyboard? I'm not sure you're doing something wrong. What I am sure of is that I do not know what you bought.

  • This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPad.

I get the following message: "this cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPad." Oh, and the message repeats every so often. At first, I thought maybe would it be the earbuds, but I get the message, even though no headphones are attached. I get the message when no cable is attached. This occurs even if no cable is fixed. A hypothesis as to what is happening there?

    < re-titled by host >

These alerts can appear for several reasons: the cable is defective, damaged or may not be certified by Apple, or your device might have an accumulation of dirt or damage. Follow these steps:

Before you try the following steps, make sure that the USB cable and your port is clean!

    1. Restart your iOS device.
    2. Try a different cable certified by Apple or a charger.
    3. Make sure you have the latest version of iOS.
    4. Contact Apple support to implement the service.

I hope that you will charge your iPad in no time!

  • Two-sided printing accessory

I have a HP OfficeJet 6110xi all-in-one and that you have installed HP C6437A printing accessory two faces. I can't print on both sides of the paper. I set printing preferences (double-sided (duplex) printing.

You may need to adjust the installed equipment.  For Vista, it would happen by going to the Printers folder, right-click on Officejet 6110, properties, parameters, Options and the value of the duplex unit installation "installed".  For XP, there will probably be a similar setup.

If you are using Vista, you will probably find that the duplexer prints on the back backwards.  There is a patch to correct this, as described here.

  • Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update Canon EOS 80 d

    Hello

I am trying to import RAW + JPEG images of my new Canon EOS 80 d in Photos. When I try to choose images-> use BRUTE as the original , I get the following error message:

    Cannot switch Original.

Pictures cannot move to the original because the RAW is not supported.

I wonder now if the current version of Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update includes the 80 d EOS, and if not, when it will be updated.

    My version of Photos is:

    Version 1.5 (370.42.0)

    Digital camera RAW 6.18.1 (831)

Digital Camera Support RAW 6181 (207)

    Best,

    Chris

I have not seen the 80 EOS D on the RAW supports list - Digital camera RAW formats supported by OS X El Capitan - Apple Support

Support of Canon is generally fast so I hope that with the next RAW update

  • Installation of old as accessory old computer hard drive - IDE cable doesn't fit!

I want to add my new hard drive from my old computer as an accessory.  I was able to get the old hard drive mounted in the cage in the new computer.  It was easy to connect the molex power.  But the parallel ATX of IDE cable from the old computer does not enter the unused on my new HP a6660t parallel IDE cable.  Cable parallel IDE of the ATX is too wide for the parallel IDE port on the HP motherboard.  Is there a cable or adapter I can find what works?

I thought than that - this isn't an unused IDE port, it is a spare for the power supply connector.  I need to get a SATA PATA adapter.
