  If there is no Vista 32 or 64 bit drivers on Epson site, there will be none. Unless Epson make some. You will need to buy another printer that supports Win7

• Epson Workforce GT - 1500 Scanner "installed" but does not work

  Hi all
  I have a new Gt-1500 scanner, which is supposed to be compatible with Vista. It says so on the installation DVD. The installation process seems to work fine, but Epson Scan reported an error "Epson Scan has stopped working" until he starts work.
  I went to epson.com and download the latest version. Uninstall and reinstall, exactly the same result.

  The scanner appears to install a WIA device flat only (it's a dish with the charger). It analyses with software that detects the WIA device. However, it is completely useless because all the features of the ADF are defeated as well as other features without Epson Scan works and the driver complete.

  I reinstalled about 10 times now, including 60 minutes with the help of Epson have... Uninstall me and reinstall.

  I think that there is something corrupt with my system Vista Home Premium 64 - bit somewhere, but I have no idea. I'm not prepared or able to do a complete OS resinstall to solve this problem, if it is even the problem.

  UPDATE: it is certainly a problem of Vista compatibility. I just installed on a laptop XP - pro of soon-to-be-retired and it works perfectly. Now the question is, is this an Epson installation/driver problem or something in my HP Vista installation on shelf?

  You said that you thought that your Vista installation was corrupted.  Try to run the System File Checker to see if it can rectify all corrupt system files.  This could be the cause of your software Epson does not properly.

  To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:
  Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.
  Right click on cmd in the list programs, and then click Run as administrator.
  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
  At the command prompt, type the following line and press ENTER:
  sfc/scannow
  When the analysis is complete, test to see if the problem you are experiencing is resolved.

  Alternatively, you can try to install Cleanup utility.  Many times you have uninstalled and reinstalled the Epson software, it wouldn't hurt.

  Someone help please? I have an epson c1100 laser printer... .works fine with xp but now with win7. The best I can get is the driver by default that automatically loads if I understand correctly that there is no specific driver for this machine available in win 7. Prints a sheet ok, don't double side or on several pages. Has anyone found a way around that?  Otherwise, I have another pc using vista, I could link so when I print the win7 machine it transfers data on the other pc and print it! Seems a long way round but I really need my laser works as it is a great machine. Epson does not offer help, unfortunately

  Is there a driver for Windows 7 and Dell P1500 personal Laser printer?

  Well, after letting it sit unused printer for several months, yesterday I just plugged into the USB port, and Windows 7 instantly recognized the Dell Laser 1500 printer and installed the drivers.

  It seems to work very well without any problems! However I do nothing advanced as use it as a network printer. But in my case it worked fine with Vista and seems to work correctly with Windows 7.

  your printer is not supported in Windows 7 and they recommend the upgrade of your printer (finally they would!). You can try the drivers for previous operating systems, but you're probably out of luck.

  you will need to go to the epson website and see if vista 64 bit drivers are availabe for your particular model printer

  If they download and install your printer

  If there is no vista 64 bit drivers it is time to buy a new printer

  XP includes the driver for this device.  If you have a CD of XP AND you are runniing a 32-bit version of Windows 7 using have disk to install, point to the i386 directory.

  Hi all

  Currently I use a Hp Officejet Mobile 100 in my Jeep in the field FRO my work.  I have egt tired to change ink, not to mention the expense.  I want to install a small laser priner.  I bought a Pro Laserjet 1102w and converter of Schumacher 1500 watts.  Specifications on the said ups its 150 amps this thing is huge, but it does not have the printer. Anyone know of a HP Laser that will elapse this inverter or give me advice.  I do a lot of printing on the ground and my mobile struggles to stand.  Any help is appreciated.

  I found that the root of the problem was the type of inverter that I used. I got a UPS to update THE 1500 watts 20 amp. I tried several combinations, and nothing has worked. I called one of the guys I work with, he's a detective chief electrician for the State of Virginia of underground mines. I read him my card for my HP printer and the inverter. He immediately said send me modified 1500 watts inverter back and order an inverter PURE or TRUE SINE of 800 watts. I talked to about 6 different merchant until I found someone who knew what I was talking about, he sent a 800 watt 15 amp frequency inverter true sinus and I am up and running. If your like me and didn't know the difference, it is listed in the specs on the back of the box of the inverter.

  The following MS KB article can help: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/298370 (this is probably the issue of the 'damaged registry key' rather than a problem of printer driver).

  Before you make changes to the registry, create a backup.  A good way to do that is to aid C:\WINDOWS\ERUNT (free).

  If the above does not help, post back with more information:

  • What version of Windows, including the service pack is installed?
  • What anti-virus application is installed and is its subscription and cannot not could sink?
  • What other anti-malware software is installed?
  • What happened just before the problem appears (for example, you install a printer driver updated, especially one that you have downloaded from Windows Update)?
