Epson Stylus Photo 1280 (M) prints only 8-1/2 "wide vs 12.5" wide - Win 7
The printer driver Windows 7 ultimate 'Epson Stylus Photo 1280 (M') prints only 8-1/2 "wide vs 12.5" wide that the printer is capable of.
I put the default paper 12.5 "x 18", but it prints still only 8-1/2 "wide no matter what. It seems to be a driver problem. It works very well in the old machine with XP. Note, Epson no longer supports this printer, but there is a driver Win 7 from Microsoft.
Any suggestions?
Thank you

Device drivers are provided by the manufacturer of the device. I suggest to contact support Epson printer and check the availability of drivers for Windows 7. However, you can try to install the Windows Vista drivers and check if it helps:
If the margins are incorrect:
(a) ensure that the paper settings are correct for your paper size. For instructions, see printing from Windows
(b) ensure that paper that you present is the size of paper and type parameters of selected paper in Epson Stylus CX5800F Control Panel or in your printer software.
(c) choose the correct margins for your paper size.
(d) use the print preview option in your printer software to check your margins before printing.
(e) make sure your paper is positioned next to the right of the manger.
Alternatively, you can contact Epson support at the below link:

Looks like it can do what you want.If you don't already have it, download v5.2cA if you have 32 bits, or v5.5aAs if you have 64-bit Windows and install in XP or Vista compatibility mode.

Epson Stylus Photo 2200 now prints Green
I recently updated my system to Vista 64 and PS CS4 in Windows XP and PS CS3. When I print my photos now have a severe green cast. I tried to turn off CM at the printer, in PS, both and to in each place and at a time, nothing seems to work. I have DL had the paper profiles as well, still does not work. You have no idea what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks in advance
Roy
I spent after hours trying to solve the problem of color cast in the settings. Eventually, I did an audit of the nozzles and a half my magenta nozzles were clogged.
If itsnot this, then you must make sure that your workflow is correct:
before I used custom profiles it was mine:
print using profiles for epson in PS (using color perceptual or relative) AND make you sure the printer driver is set to no color adjustment. (This make your false impression - but must preview print OK.)
And if that doesn't work see if there's an ascociated to profile with the printer to the system > color

"epson stylus photo r300 driver" "windows 7 64".

I can't find a printer driver for Epson stylus photo r300, with Windows 7 64 bit. I would be very grateful for any help. Thank you.
Before I have the normal state, here's the answer:
The Epson Stylus Photo R300 inkjet printer is not compatible with Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit).
[This is a web link, if you click on it, it will take you to the Compatibility Center Windows 7-more specifically to the web page on the printer inkjet Epson Stylus Photo R300 as much as Windows 7 64-bit is concerned.]
The 'normal' is that hardware drivers and compatibility with any given operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Linux, etc.) is provided by and determined by the manufacturer of the product in question. Similar idea to the software. So in this case - Epson does not provide a driver - nothing else does to 'make work' is a hack and can stop working at some point, probably will not give the same functionality as the material has in the operating systems supported by its manufacturer. -
I have an Epson Stylus Photo R300 and immediately after changing two cartridges of my computer error - service - parts inside your printer are at the end of their life expectancy, and the printer will not respond to the control buttons. I had printed only a test page which was fine, but I can't get rid of this message that stops my printer to work. Help, please!
The manual for your printer said, "dealer" when you see this error message. This article from Epson (for a different printer model)
indicates that the porus waste pads are at the end of their useful life and you should get replace them and then use the reset utility. It may be cheaper to just buy a new printer, so study the costs before making a decision. I would contact Epson directly for advice.

Printing from InDesign for Epson Stylus Photo R3000
In InDesign CS4 when I go to print to my new Epson Stylus Photo R3000, I don't see any options necessary to select types of paper, color or black, IPR, etc. in the printing establishment of Project dialog Panel.
However, when I use Quark I see all the options I need. Surely InDesign should have them too?
Please can someone hepl?
Thank you very much.
Oh, re-read your messages earlier, you say:
Dialog box comes under 'General' at the top by "Printer" the only option that he has 'Epson Stylus Photo R3000' which is the printer I have.
and then separately:
Yes, but if you hit 'printer' in InDesign all you get is a dialog box saying use of InDesign print dialog box to "avoid conflicts of impression. Then you are taken back to square one where you cannot select the printer determine color and therefore cannot choose the types of paper etc.
Are you saying when you hit a printer you get this? :
If Yes, then you have to hit the triangle I circled in green, to get to this:
And you should get a whole lot of choice in the drop-down list of oval-surrounded. Some may be specific to a printer, and some cannot.
Is not what you get? If this isn't the case, maybe you should post a screenshot.
I'm not really convinced that the choice of the color in the InDesign print area management has much to do with what you want to accomplish. Certainly, it should not influence selection paper. for example.

Epson Stylus Photo RX420 with Vista printer driver problem
I have an Epson Stylus Photo RX420 Series all in one printer, copier and fax machine which worked perfectly on my old Windows XP computer.
Unfortunately this XP computer has failed recently so I've upgraded to a new PC running Vista.
When I try to install the Vista printer recognizes the device and research initially drivers preloaded to find the printer driver.
He says so I need to use Windows update to download the right driver which I allow then (which is consistent with the information available on the Epson site that says I need to use Windows Update to get the correct driver).
Windows Update, then go online and find the pilot, but finally errors saying installation fail due to a timeout problem.
I have no other problems with Windows Update install the patches, fixes, etc. They all have download and install correctly and they should be larger in size than the printer driver.
Any thoughts on how I can get the correct driver for this printer, download and install?
Hi IanRP,
I suggest to download the compatible driver for your printer from the link below and check if the problem is resolved.
If this does not work, try to connect to the Windows Update site. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site and install all updates.

Driver Epson stylus photo R300 doesn't have the features of DVD/CD printing
I managed to install the printer driver R300 has been provided by Windows 7, (Epson does not have a driver for windows 7 on their site). I also downloaded and installed the Windows 7 version of Epson Print CD. However, when I try to print on a CD, I get the following message: printer driver dealing with CD printing Epson not installed.
Is there a work around or another pilot, I can use?
If you receive the error message "printer driver EPSON The dealing with CD printing is not installed" when you start EPSON Print CD in Windows, then either the printer driver or EPSON EasyPrintModule is not installed on your system.
EPSON EasyPrintModule collects data of any EPSON printer driver installed on your system. These data are required by applications such as EPSON Creativity Suite or EPSON Print CD to show the good printing options for your printer.
If EPSON EasyPrintModule is not installed so that this data can be collected. Therefore, the application cannot find the printer driver and reports that it is not installed on the system.
To resolve this issue, make sure that the following software is installed:
- The EPSON printer driver.
- The latest version of EPSON EasyPrintModule.

EasyPrintModule is available on page drivers R300:

I have Windows 7 and I have an Epson Stylus Photo RX 425 - in Windows Vista, I had no problem - but now does not work my printer in my dear 7
Please help me - should I buy a new printer?Looking at the Epson site for these drivers, I see that the latest version, they offered was from 2007. Here are the instructions for using Windows Update to install the drivers for the printer on Vista . I don't know if it will work in Win7, but it's worth a try. If this does not work, then you can contact Epson to see if they will be providing drivers for your printer. Frankly, it is doubtful. Is there no drivers, then you will not be able to use this printer with Windows 7.

How can I get a driver for an Epson Stylus Photo 950 printer that works with Windows 7?
Original title: How can I get a driver for an Epson Stylus Photo 950 printer that works with Windows 7?
It is not listed in the list of printer drivers and I can't find anywhere on the web.
Hello
This article from Epson says that the driver is included in Windows 7.
I don't see any info out there that clearly explains how to add it. It simply States that you must go to "add a printer". Looks like you already did this well.
I would say following upward with support from Epson to see if they can offer some better instructions. Want to know if your hardware current & software will work with Windows 7? Click on these links: *Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor * *Windows 7 Compatibility Center*.
