  In my view, the part number of the keyboard you need for you SP2100 is P000405490 and this will depend on the different models, including the Qosmio E10 F10, G10, 210 A40 Satellite 1410, M30 etc.

  I have a Satellite A1100, and my CD/DVD Combo needs to be replaced... also, I need to replace the motherboard by qualifying the connections that connect the CD/DVD drive is damaged. Is there any possible way for me to get the motherboard and the CD/DVD combo myself or should I consider a service repair center?

  And if there is a way to get the spare parts of CD/DVD and a motherboard... can someone please tell me where I can get them from? If anyone has any idea how much it's going to put me back I would appreciate, they would let me know how it is... also, I would gladly help if someone can tell me what I can do about it.

  How old is your machine? If you still have your warranty, so why not give your machine to a local service partner?

  So if you don t give something on your guarantee you can trade your coins. But to look for the pieces on google and you won´t get any help from toshiba (e.g. manual disassembly or something similar).

  I tried long before your request and I made my experience that if you want to open your machine your completely on your own.

Since you swamped the keyboard you wouldn still get part of some liquids guaranteed repair, so it doesn´t matter if you swap the keyboard by yourself.

  Hello, I hope someone can help.

  I have recently inherited this old laptop of my parents and I hope to make it usable for my daughter, but there is a problem with the screen in which the image has a strange red tint to it. I'm guessing that the screen is somewhat damaged.

  I tried a new cable on ebay etc, and although there is a lot of spare parts for Toshiba laptops in general, I can't find any specific for this model.

  I prefer to try and sort myself, I imagine that the cost of that laptop to a specialist would be more than the laptop is useful, but it would be a shame to have to kinda bin for reasons of cable in water.

  Before you replace or search for spare parts I recommend to connect an external monitor. In order to check whether the problem is related to the LCD, LCD cable or the motherboard itself.

  If an external monitor is working properly it s the LCD or LCD cable itself otherwise display it s card/motherboard graphics malfunction.

  In general all Toshiba spare parts can be ordered from an authorized service provider:

  So just contact the nearest one and say what technicians want. They will order it. ;)

  I booted the computer and I hear the fan start, but 5 seconds later collapsed... But there is light on the button to start the computer, so I know it is on, but the screen is black...

  And there is no noise of peep that would indicate that the screen is broken or something. Any ideas?

  If your black internal display have you tried an external monitor? The internal screen is maybe defective.

  If the external monitor shows a black screen, you should also try the following solution:
  Remove the AC adapter and battery
  Wait 1 hour
  Then reconnect both devices and try the laptop

  In the worst case there s a hardware malfunction, and you need professional assistance from an authorized service provider. Maybe your motherboard is faulty :(

  When I search the keyboard part, I get the choice of a manufacturer "NMB" or "Chicony" for the keyboard.  Is there a difference between the two?  I see that one is $ 27 and the other $40,50.

  When I replaced the keyboard on my Lenovo 3000 N200 0769, I used T 42, 3338 of the party, the NMB.   To avoid any problems, I removed the keyboard & taken at my local supplier to make sure that the part that I was getting was not only the same part number (printed on the back of the keyboard), but looked as if it was a duplicate.  I did not order from IBM.

  But I think that you must find for the Vista drivers as Equium A110 doesn t supports Windows 7, Vista only.

  I ask because I have never heard of Equium A110 PSAAQE but Equium A100-338!

  On the Toshiba page, you will find drivers for Equium A100 PSAAQE. That's why I recommend the name of the laptop again.

  1. it is unlikely that your current installation would work if
  you have changed motherboards. You need to reinstall itself.

  2 but you cannot use your current copy of Windows if you change
  motherboards, not even if reinstall you it cleanly. The largest
  disadvantage of an OEM version, is that its license it binds permanently
  the first computer, it is installed on and Microsoft believes that
  If you change the motherboards, another computer. It can never
  legally be moved to another computer, sold or transferred (except with)
  the original computer). If the computer dies or is stolen, your
