  I just bought a new laptop Satellite P750 / 02K with Windows 7 64 bit. How can I enable the wireless interface?

  I tried the Fn + F8, but it says it all, this is the 'wireless communication is disabled. Please activate the wireless communication switch. There is no switch that I see. The device driver is enabled and active. I even tried to reinstall the driver. The user manual makes no reference to a process physical either pass. I checked the BIOS but see no setting for all the wireless settings. I tried to restart the flash without result map.

  I Don t Satellite P750 in front of me, but the wireless network card is in the Device Manager?

  On Satellite P750, there is a tactile button between the screen and the keyboard to turn the WLAN function. The second button on the left (symbol of the antenna), you need to press to activate the WLAN.

  Also, check the BIOS. As I know most notebook contains an option for the WLAN that must be set to active.

  I think that the authorized service provider is good and the graphics card can't be upgraded. It s soldered on motherboard and nontradable. :(

• Equium A110-252 freezes after formatting DVD - RW

  Bought the computer laptop satellite A110-252 a couple of days to replace my desktop computer that mistaken for suicide. I try to create DVDs to play on my DVD, AVI and WMV player using the supplied software ie. InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2.

  The first attempt, converting a small file WMV MPEG-2, burned and played but when I went back to erase/format the disc and burn full disk file had been damaged and marked read-only, windows completely Explorer freeze because he tried to access the D: / drive.

  In addition, all attempts convert and burn the result in no data being burned and the drive being rendered useless later. Did not attempt any burn more that I am running out of discs to test.

  Hmmm, believe me, it of not easy to say what's wrong or why it occurs.

  How have you tried to erase the DVD - RW? What applications did you use?
  It seems that the application caused the laptop freezing.
  Why? Who knows try using another type of DVD - RW and try to use various means to erase the DVD - RW.

  Nero burning rom application is a very interesting tool and provide many different options. You can use it to erase DVD - rw

  This satellite is the old model of laptop and I believe that you can not order a copy on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx
  But you can try to contact the nearest Toshiba authorized provider and ask if they can help.

  Otherwise, you can install OS using Microsoft facilities drive. All the necessary drivers, tools and utilities that you can download at Toshiba supports the page.

  I installed win7 and I tried to install all compatible drivers, only those who say win 7 x 32, however my laptop keeps freezing at random times and I don't know why.

  I doubt that Windows 7 is faster then XP. I also tried Windows 7 RTM and I must say it s faster then Vista but I think XP is still the fastest operating system.

  However, if your laptop crashes in Windows 7, you must use the preinstalled operating system which I think is XP. I mean Windows 7 isn't on the market yet and I doubt that enough old Equium A110 will support Windows 7.

  What you can do is to clean the laptop using a jet of compressed air because maybe it s an overheating.

  But I think that s all you can do.

  Equium A110 is very similar to the Satellite A110 and two portable computers should support the same kind of HARD drive.
  As I m not wrong not you need a SATA 2.5 HARD.

  If the laptop supports the 60 GB then use the 80 or 100 GB should be possible also.

  OK, I think my question about why you want to replace the CPU is answered ;)
  But as far as I know, that you will not find such a manual by downloading or around the internet as I think only ASP guy have these instructions.

  Perhaps it is like with car repair instructions. Officials as they are used in repair shops are provided only by the vehicle manufacturer for these shops.

  To my knowledge, the A110-294 uses the Atheros WLan card and therefore the Atheros Wlan dirver should be the right one.
