Equium A300D - 16 c - does not start - no POST

came to turn on my laptop this morning at a black screen after you turn on the laptop and a bunch of times, I noticed there were 2 low beeps coming from the motherboard (thought it was the hard drive, it comes to the right side of the laptop / to the right of the touchpad)

When turnt on:

-Power light is on
-Battery may charge just fine and light orange to indicate his support works
-Hard drive runs well (witness disk is active at all lights)
-After 2/3 seconds after turnt is powered, you get 2 beeps VERY quiet (had to put ear on the laptop to hear it)
-Fan works fine also the controller - the heat of the laptop becomes the fastest is laps.
-Tried with or without battery, adapter always the same results

tried to remove ram/try different combinations but same result, also no output at all on the external VGA port

Anyone have any idea?

On this virtual path, it is not easy to say what is wrong with your laptop. Exact hardware failure can be determined by diagnostic software.

Beeps at startup indicates a serious hardware failure. It may be BIOS or maybe GPU. Unfortunately, we can only speculate what may be the problem. I m afraid the motherboard should be replaced.

What you can do is to contact the nearest service Toshiba and ask for help.

  • Equium A300D - 16 c. do not start after his stop.

Please, it is a problem that I seem to not understand. I used my laptop Equium A300d - 16 c with no problems for over a year until last night. I was installing a software (nokia PC suite) that you are prompted to restart the computer. the closure was normal and so he could restart, was a problem. It displays nothing but a screen empty. It is obvious it does not start as when I press the power button it goes immediately. Only the power led is on. Another thing I notice is that the DVD-ROM reads any disk placed inside, but there is no display of any kind.

My first reaction was that it may be overheating, so I cleaned the vents and amazed the dust of all compartments. but the problem still persists. Please, I want to know what may be the problem before you take it for repairs. Need help. Thank you.

    Hello

It is not easy to explain exactly why this happens, but I would like to know if you see something on the screen when you turn on your laptop.
    See Toshiba welcome screen?
You can enter the BIOS settings?

  • Equium A60-173 PSA67E does not start

I don't have a model Equium: Equium A60-173 (PSA67E-00700C8J) that will not start.

It tries to start hard drive turns, the fan starts, the dvd drive light flashes, the hard disk light flashes and then he died.

Battery life is very good, charger/power supply is fine.
Lights on the front shows the unit is on and the battery is being charged, they all light green.

I removed everything, left power and removed the battery for an hour, but it still will power not on.

    Any ideas?

It looks like a faulty motherboard, but it is not easy to say.

You have already removed the battery and the AC adapter and waited upward at the time, so you have to go to an ASP and ask a technician for help. They can check your laptop and exchanging parts.

On the Toshiba site, you can search an ASP:

  • Equium - after hibernation, it does not start

I put my laptop into hibernation a few days ago.
    I can't start over, however.

    Can someone help, please?

What do you mean go can t get to start?
Windows not start or complete Notepad?

Moreover, what laptop do you have?

You can try to remove the battery and the AC adapter. Wait 30 to 60 minutes and reconnect the adapter AC/DC and battery.
    Maybe it works.

  • Equium P300-16 t does not start

    Hi guys,.

    I have a 2 years old P300-16 t.
I spent yesterday morning, and he did not begin loading windows. The Toshiba logo came, and then white screen, but I can see that the LCD is on.

After a few minutes, the fan is fixed, but nothing else happens. I tried to boot from the recovery CD, DVD, DVD of windows, start, but nothing happened.

I can access BIOS without any problems, I have reset the settings, changed the order of precedence of boot, changed by pressing F12, but nothing helps, it stock after the Startup logo.

But once I removed the HARD drive and started the machine without it, surprisingly, he began to start installing windows loaded from the DVD to the part of the HARD drive, then it stopped for obvious reasons.

Then I checked the HARD drive and it "works very well, I ran a few tests on this subject, I can access it from other laptops, and it seems OK, no strange noise, none of the defective areas, nothing..." And again, if the HARD drive was not working, why can not boot from the DVD?

So, it seems that the laptop won't boot at all if the hard drive is connected. I hope it's just a small matter that can be resolved easily.

Any ideas would be very appreciated,

    Thanks in advance,
    Adam

    Hi Adam

HARD drive is recognized correctly in the BIOS?
Can you get somewhere second HDD and try it again?
I mean if the same will happen again maybe is disk controller HARD head of this strange issue.

  • Desktop - 500 b MT does not start, no post... in short power for a second, stops

    Hello out there

I have a HP desktop 500b MT with an issue of power. I'm guessing that it is the Commission which turned bad.

Symptom: when I connect the power it will power briefly, then turns off. Occasionally he'll go as far as tone on the POST, but that's all. I traded PSU, deleted / reinstall RAM, reinstall / deleted all components cablesto. There is no graphics card on PCI express... only tissue VGA on board.

In addition, to briefly turn on the PC I have to drain the power from the PSU... which means that I have to remove the power cable, press the power button / stop as if you try to start near the top of the power cable reconnect it and try to start. Then it will briefly power and turn off the power.

Someone had a similar problem... would it be a bad capacitor that needs to be replaced?

    Thank you

    Hello

Well, you did a good troubleshooting so far and the prediction is that the problem could be located on the system board.

It's a capacitor, I can not say, but in my opinion, the problem may be motherboard or processor, one of the two.

In terms of solution, don't know what to do, or offer the motherboard to someone who can verify and repair the motherboard or you buy a new piece, don't know what solution you are willing to search for.

    Thank you

  • Equium M40X: I get to the banner of Toshiba, but Windows does not start

When I start my 2 year old Toshiba Satellite M40X, I get to the banner of Toshiba, but Windows does not start. I tried using the recovery CD and it does not either.

Any suggestions as to what could be the problem?

    Hello

What do you mean with the banner of Toshiba? Did you mean the Toshiba splash screen that appears at the begging of the boot?

Equium M40X successfully passed this screen?

If the laptop is unable to switch to the home Toshiba screen then I presume that the BIOS has detected a hardware problem.
In this case primarily the motherboard fails

But if the laptop is able to spend the Toshiba start screen, the motherboard must be ok and only a 3rd device malfunction as HARD drive could cause this problem.

o im also getting the and pxe - e61 pxe - m0f error code

    Hello!

What happens to an error you get? Please post what we can help you.

To be honest that I n don't know what you mean with clip Ribbon keyboard but if the keyboard is faulty or something else, the keyboard completely must be exchanged. You are not a unique key or something else.
If you want a new keyboard or other spare parts contact your local ASP.

    Good bye

  • Equium does not start after Exchange VGA and motherboard

    Greetings.
I have a satellite that were replaced VGA & mainboard, but it does not start. There power correctly and power & switch are turned on but there is no image on the LCD or external. HDD led flashes but nothing more.

I tried a different CPU and RAM modules.

In other threads with similar problems seems to be a problem with the screws but I tried to remove all the, winding or change.

Im stuck with this and have need of any kind of help.

    Thank you

    Try this:
Remove the battery and the AC adapter, wait up to an hour, plug in the battery and the AC adapter and try again to restart the laptop.

In my opinion, a problem with the motherboard. The new mother is maybe defective.
You have replaced parts by yourself?

  • Equium A100-338 does not start the OS Vista - update Bios?

    Hi guys,.

My laptop (a few months) decided to die and was told by tech support that it might be because of the BIOS. The problem is that the computer does not start the operating system (Vista) and the update of the BIOS available only is the version of windows. Are there any other mirror to get the traditional update or even a way to convert a the update the BIOS from Windows startup disk?

    Thank you

    Hello

If you can see that one version of BIOS on Toshiba page then only one version exists and is available!

    > The problem is that the computer does not start the Vista operating system
I don t think that BIOS could be responsible for this problem.

You must first provide more info on this problem!
The laptop goes to home Toshiba screen? Have you tried to recover the laptop with the Toshiba Recovery CD?

    Please provide details!

  • Black MacBook does not start

I have a 10 year old black Macbook, which does not start when a battery is installed.  If it is connected without battery installed, it lights up, but if there is a battery in it, even if it is plugged in, it will get the startup sound and the screen of the Apple gray, then turn off.  I got a new battery and charge it where the charger turned green, but the results are the same.

    Any suggestions?

It is difficult to say what is happening with this machine, since the time and wear are considerations. I don't know what version of the operating system that you use, but there is a sequence of things you should do - in order of severity.

Since the 10.11.6 patch my IMac does not start with my hub plugged.

    Everyone

I assume you mean a USB hub? What does do when it's plugged in? It starts successfully when the hub is not plugged? If so, I would say that something is wrong with the hub or there is a problem with the port it is plugged or something plugged into the hub.

Try to plug it into a different USB port on your Mac.
