Equium A60 - ATI Mobility Raedeon 7000 IGP Graphics Driver

My laptop has been crashing like crazy these days. It was deleted and reinstalled using the recovery disk, however the problems is still as bad as ever.

The error message would advise to check updates - but I can't find on the site - they have one for 2004 - but that was before I bought the machine.

I am a novice - I admit that... So can someone advise

  • Satellite A60 - Ati Mobility Radeon 7000 IGP error

The A60 has an ATI Mobile Radeon 7000 IGP, and a file called ati2dvag.dll continues to spoil. He'll either on a blue error screen, or it changes the resolution of 640 x 480 and 4 bits. It has something to do with an infinite loop, or something. It happens randomly. Some days he can barely, and other days it always messes up. I googled the problem and it seems that many people also have the same problem. I read through many discussions and still have not found a solution. I tried to reinstall the driver, the driver update, and other things. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

    Hi Nico

Can you please tell us if there is no reason for that matter? You did what can be causing this problem? SP2 is installed on your device?

I checked some forums and it seems that many users have the same problem, most of them with desktop computers. I also found the ati2dvag.dll download site. Check it on http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/A/ati2dvag.dll/6.14.10.6462/download.html. The most funny thing is that a user has the same problem and after changing the motherboard, everything was ok. I think you should also save up to your data and reinstall the OS using the recovery CD. If there is no contact of success ASP.

    Good luck!

    Thank you for your help

    Hello

First of all, I would recommend trying the page of the Toshiba driver graphics card driver:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp
You choose unit and OS and download and install the driver.

In my opinion, your device must use min 256 MB memory.
But it is not only the problem of memory. Some software programs and background processes may decrease the performance of the laptop.

    Hey Jake,
The best place to find an update of your drivers is on the specific page to your notebook on the Toshiba site. These drivers are made for your notebook only and will be normally different from those you will find on the manufacturer's website. So, attention here...

2 days ago I reinstalled my Windows Xp from the recovery CD and installed all the drivers so that the laptop (satellite A60) is in this version, when I bought it. EBfor reinstalling my Radeon has 64 MB of RAM (shared), but now it has only 32 MB. Ive tried starting the Toshiba HW Setup programm but it also doesn´t work. Every time I tried to start it there is a Message something like 'module are collapsed. Is tehr any´thing how can I indreas the memory up to 64 MB?

    Maik

    Hello Maik

If you install the laptop with initial recovery media, it is not necessary to install anything. Maybe now is some conflict there. Believe me on this path is not easy to tell exactly what is happening, but don't install anything after the recovery procedure. The ghost on recovery media image has everything, but really, all the drivers, tools and utilities.

Please check in the display under Advanced Properties > framebuffer tab settings of the AMU. It contains the definition of the shared memory.

    Good bye

Are there newer drivers available that are compatible with this model? I play games enough low-end who should have no problem to get started on this thing, but they are extremely laggy. I read somewhere that a newer version of this fixes some OpenGL problems and I think that would help with some of my probs.

  • Cannot install latest ATI mobility Radeon x 1600 display driver for my Satellite A100

    Hello

My Satellite A100-704 PSAA9E is equipped with the ATI Mobility Radeon X 1600 graphics display card, that ATI provides a new driver, named Catalyst 8.3. My problem is that when I run the verification software, I get a message telling me that this driver is not suitable to be installed on my system.

Is any information available on this subject? I always install the new Catalyst driver or it's better if I do not have? Oh, the current driver, I have running on my laptop is the one downloaded from the Toshiba site, 8.292 I believe.

Any information is appreciated. Thank you very much.

It is well known that laptop to the manufacturer is responsible for the support of driver on laptop computers. You're not the first person is facing this problem. To be honest, it is not the problem. The fact is that the laptop manufacturers use updated drivers to protect the equipment.

Because of this I recommend you to use the Toshiba drivers only.

I managed to find a solution and it could be applicable to other users.

Step 1: Go to http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/home.aspx and search of your graphics card.

Step 2: once you find the list, select the suitable driver for windows 7 (WDDM) that are compatible with windows 8.

Step 3: download. Run it and extract it in a specific folder.

Step 4: Go to control panel, then system, then Device Manager, then the graphics card, then right click to update device software.

Step 5: Select Browse my computer for driver software. In the next window, select the folder where you extracted the driver. That will solve the problem.

For my portable 32-bit with ATI Mobility Radeon X 600, I chose the "ATI Technologies Inc. driver update for MOBILITY RADEON X 600 SE (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM).

  • HP dv7-4152si, disable ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics

I'm trying to get my HP Pavilion dv7-4152si Entertainment Notebook

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

1.6 GHz Intel Core i7-720QM processor,

    8 GB DDR3 (2 x 4 096 MB) memory,

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 with up to 4091 MB total graphics memory with 1 GB DDR3 dedicated

to use only the graphics card Intel and not the ATI graphics card. The laptop is supposed to be able to do through switchable graphics of CCC settings (auto or man) that I did not and do not seem to be able to make it work.

Plan B is to get rid of it!

Question: How can I completely uninstall/disable/get rid of graphics ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 so that the laptop uses only Intel graphics in the future?

I'm not a gamer and do not require high-end graphics and is not compatible with some of my request for a sandwich that I need every day.

    Thank you

First of all, make sure that your 5650 is active. You can tell that it is through small catalyst logo in the system tray, one that looks like a red atom.

Bring up the Start Menu, type "Device Manager" in the search box and press ENTER.

This should open the Device Manager. From here you will see a long list of devices, click the arrow next to 'display adapters '. Then right click "ATI Mobility Radeon 5650" and choose uninstall. Follow the dialog boxes to complete the installation

This will remove the driver for the 5650, which should accomplish what you're looking for.

The driver for laptop page also you a driver Intel graphics HD only, so it might be a good option to stability.

  • Satellite A60-156: where to find the graphic driver for Vista

I recently updated my A60 with new dvd, memory, and hard drive.
Upgrades to Vista and everything works perfectly except that I can't find an update for my display driver.

Just as standard graphic adapter shows and I can't get all the 3d features on it even for games in Windows Vista or in screensavers.
Can anyone advise as to where I can get drivers updated for this function? Graphics card is ati radeon 7000igp.

    Thank you.

What to say it seems Toshiba page doesn't provide all the Vista drivers for this device.
Then you can try to use a graphics driver on 3rd part as www.omegadrivers.net site

But note; These aren't the Toshiba drivers and that's why pilots are not tested on Toshiba laptops. You can install it but only at your own risk.

    Best regards & good luck

  • Equium A60-181 (PSA67E) - cannot find the display driver

Due to problems with some games I did experiments with other ATI drivers for my laptop.
It turns out that their support for Open GL is scandalously broken so I tried rolling back the drivers.
Unfortunately Windows doesn't let me do it because I need the original driver files so tried to download on the Toshiba support page.
Well although it seems that the Equium A60 - 181 aka PSA67E does not appear as a product more also any attempt to seek A60-181 or PSA67E displays empty hits Unlike Google or Msn.

What happens here? Please tell me Toshiba did not hold for this laptop isn't exactly new or old it is still worthy of driver / BIOS update support especially when needed.

    Richard S.

Akuma is right. All the notebooks are listed in the archives.
    Check it out.

  • Equium A60: A new version of the display driver is not available?

I have the satellite a60, the drivers available on the official download page for Toshiba are since 2004.

Seriously, who can not be the latest version available.

I think that this may be the cause of a certain display problems that I'm facing with this machine.

    Hello

Many different series laptop is delivered with the same graphic card.
It of possible that the latest graphic driver have been placed in the different laptop computer category. I recommend checking out the different series of the same graphics card which is used in your Equium and maybe you will find the most recent version of the driver.
