Equium A60 PSA67E - display driver problem - atidvg error

I just bought this laptop second hand. Need an operating system does all that XP pro sp. running soft bar I get an atidvg error.
It changes the screen resolution of 600 by 400 and told that I need to restart.

Said then the system has recovered from a serious error.
Amount of the fine if I disable hardware graphics acceleration but then t can watch movies.
All drivers and Bios of the site.

So what s the problem?
Any help greatly appreciated

Because you bought this laptop as a second hand unit a hardware problem would be possible
The atidvg file belongs to the ATI graphics card driver, and if it indicates a serious problem that two options are possible:
The dysfunctions of graphics card driver or the graphics card chip

You could try updating the graphics driver, if it will not then question GPU would be possible

  • My Equium A60 to display driver

Hey guys, I'm having a small problem.

I got my Equium hung wireless and after a few seconds, the display enabled a mode really based pixelated, which would return to normal, if I rebooted... until I went back online. I tried all of the updates for ATI, but not joy.

I decided (please don't tell me) to uninstall ATI as it seemed it was the video controller who did not like the wireless. Now, all is well with the wireless. no problem, but now of course I can't read DVDs, I really don't want to!

I then tried to reinstall ATI from the recovery disk, but when I rebooted the computer to complete the installation, simply of restarts and does not start unless I choose the option to go to a previous configuration. I tried to install Windows and the Toshiba site, but again, no joy.

.. then I kind of made a mess of things

Could you give me help in reinstalling my display driver and how prevents conflict with the wireless?

Thank you very much. I hope you had a good new year

    Hallo Mark

Maybe you don't read this, but in my opinion, you should preinstall your device with the original recovery media. I noticed that a lot of different things can have some negative influence on some strange questions like yours. It is not easy to find an appropriate solution.

In my opinion, all that you have done is just, but if there is no successful backup your data and reinstall the unit. On this way OS will be clean preinstalled and I am sure that everything will work again at 100%.

If the same issue occur after reinstalling of. Something wrong here.

    Good bye

  • Re: Equium A60 PSA67E - can't burn new disks

I'm losing the will to live now. Could someone help me please.
    I have a 2004 Equium A60 PSA67E-00400C8J.
It reads and writes on DVD RAM RW and DVD ROM and CD RW that have pre files written on them.
But, I can't get to see a new brand.

I place several brands in the draw, closed and it works ok until you get auto white screen as you might indicate the contents of the file, but when I try and 'drag and drop' for her, he said: "there is an unknown problem and files of continue to fly in the air for always (10. (, 15, 20 minutes) until I get advice and "Cancel". Nothing is transferred at all. In desperation, I look at 'properties' for the drive and blue on the slice of cake, telling me the disk is full.
Each new disc! several brands! all the same. I'm close to throwing out the window.

Please please experts with suggestions would be welcome. I'll try anything.
I know much too little for this and all officially released I've read seems to be written for a much longer young and sends me off the coast in total confusion. It took me an hour to reach this post on this forum, but I'll try.

Please take pitty and talk in terms of Janet and John if you offer tests or responses.

Thank you very much in anticipation

    David

If I understand your question, your CD/DVD drive cannot burn new disks.
    Is this good?

What discs can not be burned? Are these discs copy protected?
Have you tried different burning software?

I use Nero and I think it s better combustion of the program.
    Recommend to use.

  • What DVD players are compatible with Equium A60 PSA67E?

my question; What dvd players are compatible for an equium a60 (psa67e-001001en)?

background; I did a very stupid thing! while I was at the Japan and about 18 months after buying my a60 in the United Kingdom, the packaged dvd player. I replaced it with a teac dvd player and it worked like a dream! I threw the old disk (I think it was a matsu * has, but can't remember the exact model). in any case, I came home and had a little time on my hands, so I decided to set my machine and corrupted the windows xp registry.

Now, windows xp runs in the loop, I can't access and I need to wipe the hard drive and start again essentially. I put the recovery disk in, but the computer doesn't read him and desperately wants his wacky way to windows. I believe that it is not recognizing the teac drive that I used to replace the old. I think that if I put an original return type, the firmware can recognize the drive and I'll be back in business... or so I hope!

of course, all the other tips would be welcome too! Thank you.

work around? PS a work around, I thought so... copy the contents of the diskette of recovery on a hard drive (using my old computer) can change the current hard drive in my a60 with it... theory; When the computer detects the content during the start-up, it will install xp on another part of this drive and I have a working machine once again. could - this something like this work? any thoughts?

  • Equium A60 - Max HARD drive?

    Hey, forum noob here.

I know this has been asked before (see [here | http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=119435𝊋], [here | http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=81428𓸔] and [here | http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=136793𡙙]), but I have yet to see a definitive answer, so...

What is the biggest HARD drive I can put in an Equium A60? Anyone know?

(Processor is Celeron 2.8 GHz;) Current BIOS is version 1.8 c).

NB. this a 2nd or 3rd hand reconditioned machine. The insignia on the bottom says "TOSHIBA EQUIUM A60 PSA67E-00300C8J" but SystemInformationForWindows tells me that it is a Satellite A60. So maybe someone has used a disc re - install from a Satellite A60 at some point. I don't have if this is important - I mention this it just in case...

TIA. Any help would be appreciated.

    Tom

Just if someone has tested, it can offer a definitive answer. Of course, nobody has played with such things but let's be realistic.
Equium A60 comes with IDE ATA 6 HDD SATA not. AFAIK these HDDs have limit on 136 GB or something like that. So I think that you can use all the disk up to 130 GB.
In my opinion, you can use maximum 120 GB IDE ATA HDD. I'm not 100% sure, but if you use the more big HARD drive is more than 136 GB will not be recognized.

So much about the theory. ;)
I just hope someone can confirm or deny my theory on HDD max.

    Bye and good luck!

  • Equium M70: display driver problem

    Salvation is

    I got Equium m70 series.
I downloaded the intel graphics drivers from the toshiba site but it quit working and displaying this error after half an hour.
Error: "the ialmrnt5 display driver has stopped working normally. Save your work and restart the system to restore the full display functionality.
The next time you restart the computer, a dialog box will appear giving you the ability to upload data about this failure to Microsoft. »

Then I download the drivers from the website of intel which is the most recent, but the problem is worst windows crashed after 10 minutes that drivers and the blue screen comes and system rebooted and then no display at all on my laptop.
Then I remove the battery and try on pc after 10 minutes, and then the display come then I go to safe mode and uninstall the drivers.

Now the window working without a driver.

    Please help me with this.

Maybe you used a bad driver?  :| Why you n t use the driver graphic European Toshiba page!

Please note that other graphics drivers (not Toshiba page) can be used and installed only at your own risk and there is no guarantee that these drivers work correctly!

Looks like you've ruined the whole OS. Perhaps the installation of the graphics driver for the Toshiba page will help you. If this isn't the case,->, try to reinstall the entire operating system since the Toshiba Recovery CD!
The drivers on the CD are tested and should work properly!

    Hello

Is it possible to enter the operating system? Did you install driver ATI of Tools & Utilities CD (version 6.14.10.6430)? Is there some other conflict in Device Manager?

My opinion is that if you have a fatal error like this, the best way to solve this problem is to reinstall the OS. After that, you will be sure that all hardware components are working properly. If you want to make the backup of your data.

  • Equium A60-191: which driver should I solve software problems

Updates MicroSoft screwed up my OS and I had to get it reinstalled. When it has been reinstalled, I had to reinstall XP as I had no BONES at all. This means that has been reinstalled XP with SP2. Other nearby things I lost all the registry entries for the software on the laptop - despite the fact that the HD has not been deleted data or programs. Although my data are listed under other 'user '.

A number of drivers have been "lost" and I don't have Toshiba recovery disc (s). That's why I was download the 'obvious' drivers missing. However, some things do not - work as no notification of the battery status in the system tray.

    Neither the Fn keys working.

It has been suggested that some of the things Toshiba must be downloaded before SP2... If so, how can I sort this problem please?

It is not clear what drivers on the drivers Equium page are those which are necessary and in some cases, an insufficient description is given: for those of us who are not wise wordly on computers. So unless I can tell that something is missing for example I discovered with my modem - I don't know what I need and what I don't.

If anybody out there can help with suggestions for what software/drivers, that I need to fix this box or how to get around the order of driver download problems, I would be very grateful.

    Thanks for looking

    Hello

I just recommend to install ATI Chipset + Display Driver V6.14.10.6430 as a first step, before you start to install the other stuff listed. As written Jasmine make sure that you have installed all the Toshiba designed the tools and utilities in the correct order. I think that all the FN functions will not work correctly.

  • 5K iMac display driver problem crashing end of 2015

I have a new end 2015 27 "5K iMac, CTO with the i7, Fusion of 3 TB drive and the M395X w / 4 GB of VRAM. I got the plug 8 GB of RAM but put 16 GB of RAM spec Apple Crucial in both. All are adapted. I have clean education installed windows 10 via bootcamp, I also used to divide the disc fusion in partitions of equal size. I had some problems initially with Bluetooth for the magic mouse and display and had to manually install the drivers for the two. In the case of Bluetooth several times. By a very large extent, it was worth the most I got with an installation of bootcamp since the first version as issued. I don't know if it's windows or apple it was a mess of God awful things installed partially or not at all.

In any case, I got things set to the point where the system seemed stable and decided to start running some games through steam. This is when I started to have a great many problems with the system. More specifically, when I play games on steam I frequently either crash to the desktop or system chokes and throws me back to the default windows display drivers. I say this because I can't see the error appearing frequently in the observer of events just before these accidents is "Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered." Usually, I have two error messages in a line in the newspaper timed just before the accident happens so I am sure that the pilot does not successfully and two kicks me back to the default windows display driver and the locking system until I quit the game via the Task Manager or comes crashing down on the desk. According to the event viewer, I had 20 warning messages (event ID 4101) in the last nine days (yes I play a lot for a 50 year old man).

Seriously, what gives apple? I drop to $3K on a machine and I can't even enjoy a game that this card should be more capable of running at a decent resolution (Fallout 4) because the drivers suck. AMD released the bootcamp drivers on September 21 last year. They claim they have the latest drivers available (and their latest stable version for systems non-bootcamp is December 15 last year, after having released only 12 days ago the beta drivers) for bootcamp, but you guys are sitting on them because you certify drivers. So, yet again, what gives? Can we get the drivers, we need to use the systems we paid a premium for it please?

If you want to try non-Apple certified drivers, you can test with WHQL drivers, or try and BCA allows you to download the latest available package and check the version of the drivers available vs installed. AMD GPU are bad when they are in the Mac running Windows. This does not happen on OS X side.

There are number of threads about the drivers for the AMD GPU and a lot of experimentation within the CSA for Windows drivers.

  • Toshiba Satellite L850 - display driver problem

    Hello
I have a Toshiba Satellite L850-1j9, (PSKG8E-02D00KCE), in collaboration with i7-3630QM and an AMD Radeon HD M 7670.

The problem is, I'm not able to install the AMD display driver. When I try to install the software and drivers this problem appears: https://youtu.be/AOiPq8WVz_M

The first time that I was using Win 10. I did the update to win 10 about a month ago and everything was ok until 4 days ago. I was working with my laptop with an external screen connected by HDMI and all of a sudden the screen started to Flash some green lines with a black background (something like you can see in the video).

I saw on the internet that some people have problems making the update to wion10, I have installed new Windows 8 to see if has something related to win10 but the problem persists.

I tried to install the intel CPU, a graphics 4000HD Intel GPU, but may not use it as a main GPU. I had this problem: "this device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31) »

I need help please to understand what I can do to solve this problem. I took a peek on the internet and so far, I found a solution that could solve my problem.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello

I have a Tecra R850 with the ATI HD 6450 M and every now and again it crashes and BSOD appears.
I have observed that mainly happens when playing flash videos.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you
    Jose.

    Hi Jose

Are you using the original Toshiba pre-installed Windows or your own version?
Display driver original included in the original recovery image is tested, so you shouldn't have trouble with basic stuff like flash video playback.

Since when did you notice this problem? Can you give us an example when this happens?
    You have installed updates?
To be honest, I can't imagine that this issue is on the first day of use.
