eRecovery changed me 32 bit on 64 bit

I did a factory restore using erecovery. It now shows me as having a 32-bit system rather than the 64-bit system, I had.

How can I get that back to 64-bit.

I have a desktop Veriton X498G'

Thanks for your help.

I did a second ercovery using the full restore and not to keep all the data. When it restarts it was to the 64-bit system. I have no idea how or why this happened but the restoration fixced complete the problem.

I hope this solurtion could help someone else in the future.

    Hello.

    >... Satellite Pro C660-16N - Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium pre-installed...

Nobody knows what the best route is change Win7 64 bit for Win7 32 bit. This model has a 32-bit install on HARD drive recovery option?

Or he will have to do a clean install of Win7 32 bit DVD.

    Thank you very much.

I guess that this laptop is available with 64-bit only (specification) and there is only one way to install the version OS 32-bit, you must install it using original Microsoft Win7 32 bit installation disc.
Please note: for the activation of the operating system, you can use the product key from the sticker. You must purchase a new license for your own installation.

By the way: also check if this laptop model is supported for 32-bit version. You can do this on Toshiba support and download page under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com

I just bought a Satellite P750 (64 bit compatible) and did the quick start upward following the instructions that says I'll get a chance to say if I want 32 or 64-bit. Only, it didn't. Have you regions, time, etc. and then started upward. But in 32 mode. Can I uninstall the version of 32 ome and reinstall or change to 64-bit.

    Can anone help?

PS am new long-term tragic Windows 7 XP.

    Hello

Can you please tell us what P750 (P750-xxx) do you have exactly? I just want to check tender specifications on the Toshiba support page s.

I have older P500 and I got it with 64 bit only OS. So I don't know if the most recent model is offered with the OS 32 and 64 bits. For example, I saw on the page s Toshiba P750-100 comes with 64-bit only.

Can you please check again the version of Win7 is installed (Control Panel > system).
Somehow I doubt that you have a 32 bit OS.

  • Get a drive to change Vista 32-bit to 64-bit?

Well, I am interested in editing 64-bit Vista on my Ideapad then is it somehow I can call Lenovo and let them send me a disc because I know that Microsoft will replace 32bits to 64bits those if you call them and pay them a small fee for shipping and handling.

The versions provided with laptops are OEM versions, not retail. Microsoft changes Vista 32-bit to 64-bit free only if you have the retail one.

  • change from 32-bit to 64-bit on windows 7

Initially, I installed my Windows 7 with 32-bit but have since added more than memory and want to change to 64-bit.  How do I go about it?

You will need to do a clean install, there is no place on the way to upgrade Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit.

Using the disk of 64-bit Windows 7, install Windows 7 Windows Easy Transfer Utility from the DVD (to find it, simply navigate to x:\support\migwiz, "x:" is the name of your hard drive. (In this case, you will see a collection of files, the important"that you must search for and double-click is 'migsetup'.) run it and create a DAMP (Windows Easy Transfer file), if you have an external hard drive, you can access it later when you perform a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit disk so you can stored there.

Once you have done this, just do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit disc. In Windows 7 64 bit disk, start Windows Easy Transfer, follow the wizard screen, tap on which is stored the WET file (external hard drive) and it will restore your personal files and settings. Reinstall the applications needed. Releasing it's easy: with Windows | ActiveWin | Laptops | Microsoft MVP

Hold down the Windows key, then press Pause. Break. It will tell you
If you have a 32 bit processor and a 64-bit processor.

If it is a 64-bit processor, yes it can run 64-bit Windows. If it's a
    32-bit processor, it cannot.

Copy of pixels has the property of dithering. Here are a few notes on this topic:

Using the option to dither with copypixels.

The copypixels command can accept a property of #Dither option. The two valid values for this property that I know are 1215 and 1969.

    anImage.copyPixels (img, aRect, aRect, [#dither: 1215])

    anImage.copyPixels (img, aRect, aRect, [#dither: 1969])

I have a Satellite X 200 - 24Z with BIOS 2.50 win32 running Vista Home premium 32 bit and my CPU which is an Intel T9300 supports 64-bit, I want to know if I can change the BIOS to 2.50 64-bit and then install Vista and Windows 7 64 bit in dual boot.

Thanks to anyone who can help me on this issue.

    Ahmed

    Hey Buddy,

    Why it shouldn't be possible?

So I see no reason why you shouldn't t install new BIOS 2.50 64bits. I think that this update would be necessary if you are using a 64-bit operating system, so you can do it!

But in my opinion a dual boot with Vista and Windows 7 makes no sense because they are similar
I checked the Web from Toshiba site and there is no drivers for window s7 64 bits for you to use the 64 bit Vista drivers or you install 64-bit Vista only ;)

  • Portege M750 - change from 32-bit to 64-bit

I just bought a laptop Portege M750 which is preinstalled with Vista Business 32 bit and separate tablet XP on a recovery disk.

I await with resinstall with 64-bit Vista business, then install the XP as part of a system to dual-boot to take full advantage of the 4 GB already installed in memory extension and more in the future.

My question is this: Although the drivers Toshiba download page does not specifically list a Vista 64 bit OS, no matter who made a similar change of OS on a Portégé / or other laptop and had all incompatabilty with applications and 32-bit drivers? If so, what drivers/features have caused problems later.

The "Toshiba" folder in the notebook computer C:\ directory contains all of the drivers and install files required or these all need to be downloaded from the Web site.

    Thank you

    Hello

Usually, 32-bit divers are designed and created only for the 32 bit OS and usually they would not run on 64 bit OS. But who knows, maybe some unique drivers would be compatible with 64 bit but it is more than questionable.

    > Does the folder "Toshiba" in the directory C:\ for laptop computer contain all drivers and install files required or these all need to be downloaded from the Web site.
Generally all Toshiba drivers can be downloaded from the page of European driver of Toshiba.
Toshiba on C file can contain only the installed tools and software.

    Hello

To be honest, I don't know how you can do... I do not think, it is possible to obtain from Toshiba. I can't recommend allows you to get Win 7 64-bit to install. For all win7 drivers, take a look:
