• SD/SDHC card reader does not work in a new Win7 64 bit computer desktop Lenovo, help?

  OK, so I am looking for a friends computer to recognize the SD/SDHC cards... no chance what-so-ever...

  The computer they use is a new desktop Lenovo IdeaCentre K300 running on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  The Tower has a built in card reader SD/SDHC/MiniHC etc.  However the read card doesn't seem to even notice the fact that we have inserted a card.  No lights, no noise, no new don't drive in "Computer"... absolutely no concept of recognition.  I tried to go on the Lenovo site and download drivers card reader to do this and model, but I get no difference in the response.  Cards perfectly in both cameras and also work on his cell phone.  The map we use are as follows:
  MAP 1--> 2 GB Lexar SD
  MAP 2--> Sony 1 GB Memory Stick PRO Duo
  Are these old maps or simply incompatible with this brand of computer or the windows version?
  I can't imagine another way to get this to work other than a completely new card reader.

  ATER, remove all traces of Kaspersky and following the instructions below, I could get a stable installation of ZoneAlarm.

  1. download the latest ZA 12 version http://server.iad.liveperson.net/hc/...10&action=view

  2. remove your current version of ZA (running XP Windows Add/Remove Programs/Windows 7/8 uninstall a program)

  3. remove other security tools installed. Use http://www.appremover.com/ to check a second time with no left overs are present.

  4. clean your system and registry with the free Ccleaner.exe

  5. download to your desktop and run the ZA removal tool.<= click="">
  Now restart computer after you run the ZA removal tool.

  6. now install the latest version of ZA without touching all of the default settings,
  and do not restore the settings of the old installation.

  I recently purchased the lenovo y50-70. I plan to do a new installation of windows 8.1 pro edition detail.

  So all the essential drivers are already included in my drive D, then thanks to lenovo for this. However, I would like to install the software of lenovo on my new copy settings. I just tried the subway version and it contains all the useful features. Unfortunately I can't find a download link for this anywhere.

  So what can I do to take a configuration for Lenovo desktop settings? If I search for the hidden using a linux live cd recovery partition, I'll be able to find it? Or is there anyway I can retrieve this configuration of the recovery image, or download it somewhere?

  I have a HP Pavilion p6404y desktop computer. I uninstalled and reinstalled the HP Support Assistant. If I run the quick scan, it ends and shows just as fine. If I run a full scan, it reaches 62% complete (i.e. 99% of the "left foot" criterion) and seems to freeze.   Also, often, when I start my computer first, I get a screen that says: "one of your disks should be checked for consistency.

  Hi techrex, I would say by restarting and pressing F9 to enter the Diagnostics screen and run diagnostics on your HARD drive.  If you get an error I'd say calling HP support to see what they suggest - could be that your HARD drive is on its way.

  If this is the case, immediately save all your work, photos, emails, etc..  Make your recovery DVD (press F11 at startup and have up to 4 ready virgins of DVD quality to make your recovery disks.

  If you need to replace the HARD drive yourself, it will be easy to recover the PC with your recovery discs.

  Remember: use esd protection and always disconnect your PC from the network if you plan to open the chassis and replace the HARD drive or perform another task on your PC, like blowing any dust with a can of compressed air.

  It seems to me that gmail is periodically renew or refresh your login (maybe after a certain idle period or delay or other) and the parameters it receives do not correspond to the he filed on the record, so that you get the error message - but because you are already connected it is not to connect you (which in fact is meaningless for me because that defeats the whole purpose).  I'm pretty sure it's a matter of gmail (I assume that you use your browser to your email and not an e-mail program - corect me if I am wrong).

  Will they (Lenovo) say it is not compatible, then I would avoid the upgrade. Windows 7 will continue to be supported until January 2020. You can continue to use it even after the end of support.

  I hope someone can help!  Desktop Manager (DM) was working fine yesterday and I didn't do any changes, updates or updates since then.  Today, DM does not open and when he tries, a Windows Installer message appears that says "the component you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource.  Click OK to try again or enter a different path to the folder containing the installation package ' ApploaderWebSL-Upgrade [1] .msi in the box below. »

  Browsing the forums, it is suggested that DM be uninstalled via the control panel - I tried and it tells me I need to install the CD.  The CD supplied with the curve would not work if the program has been downloaded.  I tried to download an upgrade, but am not sure that one to select (and cannot open DM to find what version I have now and if there is a newer version available)

  Detailed solutions, step by step would be more useful that I am far from being a techie...

  all of a sudden I lost the Internet connection and for some reason any Windows does not connect to the network adapter, the adapter is enabled, but I can't seem to connect.

  It is a wired connection.

  Also, I dualboot with Linux on my machine and this partition connects very well. don't know what's the problem, I have rebooted several times and activated/deactivated my card several times.
