ERROR 0X800736FD

I got a new win7 (32 bit) machine. When I installed version 10 ArcGIS and other related plugin, it gives me an error
"Microsoft.VC80.CRT.version ="8.0.50727.1833"type ="win32", publicKey = .processorArchitecture"1fc8b3b9a1ea8e3b"= 'x 86' Token'.
I found that an update has failed in my window 7 too. It's the KB971033. Would that be concerned? Any solution to the problem. Thanks in advance.

  • Win 7 = error installing iTunes Plus HRESULT:0x800736FD

I've upgraded to Windows 7 XP last night. I did a fresh install new start with a new hard drive. The installation went well until I went to install Itunes. Downloaded the latest version of Itunes and began to install it. A good way in the installation during the part of the installation when the status display indicates "Publising Product Information", I get the following error message:

"An error occurred during the installation of assembly"Microsoft.VC80.CRT, version = "8.0.50727.4053", type = "win32", publicKeyToken ='1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b ", processorarchitecture ="x 86 ". See Help and Support for more information. HRESULT:0X800736FD. »

Following this message, Setup cancels the Setup process, and after 10-15 minutes of waiting, a screen will appear which says Itunes installation was complete. Of course it wasn't, but that's what the message says. When this message is closed, Itunes tries to start and this message appears:

"Apple Application Support is not found.
Apple Application Support is necessary for the performance of iTunes. Please uninstall itunes and then reinstall iTunes.
    Error 2 "

I uninstalled and retried the installation several times with exactly the same result. I downloaded the installer from the site 3 times different iTunes and retried each of them to make sure that I didn't have a problem with the Setup file.

iTunes and Quicktime, both appear in the list of programs, but when you click Open the Application support error message.

When we look at the register Hello, iPod, iTunes, Quicktime, Apple Mobile Device Support and CoreFP all have entered them.

Does anyone have an idea about what is happening here? This is getting really frustrating.

  • Windows 7 unrecoverable system after installation of ArcGIS - KB973688 and KB954430 errors

    Hello!

I am running Windows 7 ultimate x 32 and windows update will not install two updates after installing ArcGIS 9.2:
-Update for MSXML Core services 4.0 Service Pack 2 (KB973688)
-Update for MSXML Core services 4.0 Service Pack 2 (KB954430)

I tried several times with retry and installation manual several times with and without boot and startup (disabled UAC; admin install...). No question.

    I get to kb973688 errors:
-Error code 643 (try it with windows update)
-HRESULT: 0x800736FD (installation manual try, it stops at 2/3 progress bar, saying "Publishing product information").

    WindowsUpdate.log said several times:
    -WARNING: Failed to evaluate installed rule, updateID is {...}
    -WARNING: Failed to evaluate installed rule, updateID is {...}

Between the parentheses, there are different channels such as D8BD0CF7-C4A8-48A8-9B1F-E791CE07F934.

I tried to uninstall the updates with Add/Remove windows components, but no components are presented.

CrapCleaner (ccleaner) tool shows, however, that there is a system restore point at a time where KB973688 was supposed to be installed.

Finally, I tried the system restore to a couple of restore points, but restoration said that he cannot restore (!).

So my last try: clean install from Windows 7, Windows XP Mode, installed ArcGIS 9.2 v. in Win XP Mode and I was back again smooth and clean.

My question is: how is it possible that any application can corrupt and Win 7 so much! We hope enough that I got the chance to start, but if not, how can I recover my system and I want to say my system restore points and my options to add or remove system components?

    Have a happy new year!

I found the following solution on the ESRI website that has worked for me.  It is a minor registry fix which gives more storage space for the Windows registry:

Update MS in question above installed as soon as this fix has been applied.

    Hello TP24,.

I found this in another post, and it can help you.
    Posted by PuntXO:

Check if the service of 'Windows Modules Installer' is started. Otherwise, you receive an error "not enough system resources to 1450" error trying to start, then this is the origin of the problem. To resolve the issue:

    (1) Open regedit and change the following value:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control

    Key: RegistrySizeLimit

    Type: REG_DWORD

    Value: 0xFFFFFF (4294967295)

    (2) restart

    (3) open an administrator command prompt and run SFC/scannow to verify the integrity of the modules of the system.

    (4) install the updates of windows pending (surelly there are many of them)

Please reply back and let us know if this can help.

  • Error 1935. error during the installation of Assembly--how to fix?

    Hello

Recently, I lost my laptop (a Lenovo X201t Win Ultimate running any Bluetooth capabilities (64-bit).) The problem started when Windows Update offered me an option "Bluetooth with Enhanced Data rate software II v6.2.1.3100 (7ZBV19WW)" upgrade. This update of first removed the existing Bluetooth SW and then started to install the new version. Towards the end of the installation (i.e. when the progress bar has reached almost 100%) all of a sudden the next popup appeared:

    -----------------------------------------------
Error 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'policy.8.0.Microsoft.VC80.ATL, type = 'win32-policy', version = '8.0.50727.42", publicKeyToken ="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b", processorArchitecture ="amd64"'.

    See Help and Support for more information. HRESULT: 0X800736FD. assembly interface: returned IAssemblyCacheItem, function: commit, component: {51B6FD4C-6551-1104-A01F-C8B3B9A1E18E}
    -----------------------------------------------

I googled around fragments of the above error message, but appearently it signals a significant problem. Some discussions I've found comes to the conclusion, that some registry entries do not have the correct permissions, in most of the other discussion gave, had something that was wrong with the subsystem that some libraries .NET and .NET (most listed some "MS Visual C++ 200 x Redistributable" as guilty) were opposed or had been corupted or put in an inconsistent state.

I tried various tips in these discussions, but nothing has worked so far, so I ask here:

    • What really does this error mean?
    • Can we deduct sort of info in the above message, what to do or where to look for?
    • How can I locate or identify the library or component (or other) that is the cause, so that I can try it in- or reinstall first we hope to solve this problem?

I really need my bluetooth capability! I use it regularly to synchronize with my cell phone and listen to music and I can't wait these two functions no longer work!

    Michael

PS. : in case this requires some "open heart surgery" on the system: I'm comfortable with all kinds of windows of Mgmt. Tools, edit the registry, etc etc - so no problem! I also took a recent disk image (alas, taken only after the error appeared), so still some changes difficult to solve this problem would be fine with me...

    Hello

If you receive a 1935 error when you try to install the software, the Windows file system transaction log is corrupted. The transaction log is used by the Windows file system to recover when a file error occurs. It can also occur if an error occurs with the installation of .net Framework.

Step 1: To correct this install error, you must clear the log.

    a. open an administrator command prompt: right click on start > all programs > Accessories > command prompt and select "run as administrator" and click "allow" for the elevation prompt

    b. in the command prompt, type the following command:

    true fsutil resource setautoreset C:\

    c. which assumes that C: is the drive where Windows 7 is installed. If it is installed on another drive as D: Please change the appropriate drive letter.

    d. restart the system.

    e. install the software and check.

Step 2: Start the Trustedinstaller Service. It is possible that the Trustedinstaller service do not appear in the service list. If you must change the registry value to 'active' in the system registry.

    To do this, you must:

    a. type "regedit" without the quotation marks in the start search box.

    b. in the Registry Editor window, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > control.

    c. in the "Registry Editor" dialog box, double-click on 'RegistrySizeLimit'. This opens the "Edit DWORD value"dialog box.

    d. in dialog box "Edit DWORD value", enter ffffffff as the 'hexadecimal " value." Click on the "Decimal" radio button and enter 4294967295 value 'Decimal' . Click OK.

    e. restart the computer.

    f. log as long as administrator, open an command prompt and type SFC/scannow.

Once the process is complete, reinstall the program that challenges you to install.

Important:  This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click the following link:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/back-up-the-registry

Step 3: Repair of .net framework and check.

Repair the installation of Microsoft .NET Framework

To do this, follow these steps:

    a. Click Start, click Control Panel and then click on Add / Remove programs.

    b. in the list currently installed programs, click Microsoft .NET Framework and then click Change/Remove.

    c. click on repair, and then click Next.
