Error 0x8024600e when you try to install or update Windows Store Apps

I have the problem, discussed here:
http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows_cp-Winapps/error-0x8024600e-during-store-app-update/3d61455e-9634-4DCC-8B4B-5b62da532b3d
I've tried everything.
Deleted my Live account, created a new, rename C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution directory, created AUInstall and AUInstallAgent directories, sfc/scannow, refreshed installation of Windows 8 (which, incidentally, uninstalled all my programs) but nothing works.
I can't install or update all the Windows Store apps.
Please help me

OT: Error 0x8024600e Windows

I had already checked everything you suggest me.
This morning, after that I noticed that IE was impossible to download anything, I solved it.
The Temporary Internet Files directory was missing (I don't know why).
I wrote the good location in the registry and now everything works.

Search
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders]
and then set the Cache key
%UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files

  • 800b0100 error code when you try to install the updates KB974145 and KB978251

I tried to install these 'important' updates several times with the same result - updates failed, error 800b0100 code. I downloaded and installed the KB974821 tool - tells me it installed - same problem. (I don't know if I'm supposed to do something else with KB974821 - I have to "run" or just "installed" it enough?) Instructions could certainly be clearer)

I tried to download and install the updates manually - without success - I get various error messages, like "does not apply to your system" or "for a different hardware platform.

I tried this with my firewall/antivirus close as well - using Trend Micro - and still no luck.

Thoughts, comments, suggestions, help? Very much appreciated. Thank you.

BTW, I'm running VHP 64 with Service Pack 2 installed. Nothing should be this complicated or frustrating.

Thank you. Re to system update readiness tool, maybe I missed it in the documentation, but how in the world would be a layman knows where to find the results?

  • Error 8000FFFF when you try to install the update

I tried both options. First, I used Mr. Fix It and the response was that iupdate has been installed, the next day, I realized that is not true to fact. When I started the update of Windows Vista again, I got the same error 8000FFFF. This means that I n 't have the same update again. I tried the other option for the Proz tech and I did not succeed.

What this means for me, Mr. Fix It Pro can not solve this problem, and as I am not a tech Pro, I can't fix either. What is the solution for this problem?

    Respectfully,.

    [Original title: 8000FFFF]

    Hi Nicole Maxim,.

Follow the manual steps here if you have not already. If the problem is still not resolved, you can perform an InPlace upgrade to. This option allows to restore you current Windows installation to the default without interfering with your personal settings or installed programs.

It is advisable to make sure that you have a recent backup of your data and how to reinstall your software before completing major steps of troubleshooting.

The thing you read is if you format the drive using the RAID settings you have selected. You have to look at the bottom of the window where it shows the Format.
