Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): unknown error.

Under XP SP3.

I'm unable to update windows Defender definitions update, microsoft security essentials definitions, do a system restore, updating definitions for adaware or SpyBot.

I have an error message and get: error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): unknown error.

I am also a prompt for updating my windows online protection tool, which I think is a phishing attempt or Trojan.

These problems exist in IE8, Google Chrome and Firefox.

Only one 1 antivirus should be installed and loading at startup. In your current setup, there is a good chance that MSE or Avast (free?) works correctly (which may have led to the infection).

Uninstall Avast and MSE & reboot.

  • Error 101 when you navigate to specific site but only the House on WAG160N

We are working on a new site that is hosted on Rackspace. http://travelcafe.co

For some inexplicable reason, we have intermittent connection problems when you try to access this site and the backend of wordpress. We are able to access it for an hour or two and then it would become unavailable and this can be for an hour or more. During these times, we get an "error 101.

Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): the connection has been reset.

This problem is almost certainly unique in our location / ADSL connection. We had people to other places check as we are unable to access the site and when they can. We also checked the site using the 3G network and is accessible when we have our ADSL connection problems.

We tried to use static DNS addresses (Telecom, then Google, then Open DNS)
We put in a cell Modem ADSL Dynalink RTA1025W thinking it was a problem with the modem.
We tried the Telecom standard Modem Thomson, but caused even more problems (binned that one too).
Now, we have installed a new Linksys WAG160N, but we have the same problem (but a prettier modem)

Discussions with the support of Telecom were unsuccessful

We connect (in case it isn't already obvious) via the ADSL of Telecom network. I am based in Manly, Auckland NZ. Our connection is also very well even if we have noticed on some of our devices recently that Facebook and Google.co.nz are unavailable for a short period. Often from right within 30 seconds approximately. This may be related.

The Travelcafe.co domain name is registered with GoDaddy. I'm about to move to Rackspace as well and see if that helps. (Rackspace do not think so, but I'll do it anyway to clean things).

If you have encountered similar problems with intermittent errors on specific sites, I would be extremely grateful for any advice / help.

    Thank you

Thanks - but the problem now solved. It was question of Cache to our ISP server. They made some changes and the problem resolved.

So I can't not to check the updates I had tired of what he said to do, but continues to be the same even if I use another browser.
I'm also not sure if my windows update works or not, and since I can't go to the windows update site I can't see if there are updates available for my computer.

  • decoding error 330 in Internet connection

I recently installed the new internet equpment (modem & flat) to go beyond. Since then, I was not able to use browsers to search or even connect on some Web sites.  The error message returns: with Internet Explorer, it is: error 330 (net::err_content_decoding_failed): unknown error with Firefox, it's: content encoding error,.
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid form or not support compression.,.

Chrome error message is the same and underneath, it gives the error message 330, decoding failed: unknown error. It seems that Yahoo plays a large role in these error messages. My home page has been set to yahoo, but when I couldn't access the internet, I changed my MSN home page that loads correctly like Bing.com. However, when I click on Chrome, it starts to load immediately, but there is an additional tab behind which is trying to load yahoo.com. I searched everyplace in my computer and deleted everything that has to do with yahoo, but it always seems to remain a thorn in the foot.

My support of technique of the internet provider says my DNS is set to automatic and everything is as it should be. They may not trouble shoot browser errors because it is a third party.  It's at first thought that I needed a new router because my old one was a 'g' configuration and the new system like a configuration "n". Bought a new router and installed. Nothing has changed. It works fine, but neither my husband nor I can do research online or join some websites, we could already. We can send and receive emails, but that's all.

How can I fix the compression error message so I can use internet as it is supposed to be?

    Thanks in advance,

    V

    Hello

It is perfectly understandable that you're very upset by what is happening.

One of the components of the Internet connection on your computer is a package of instructions called TCP/IP. TCP/IP can sometimes become damaged or altered. If you can't connect to the Internet and you have tried all other methods to solve the problem, TCP/IP can be causing it.

Method 1: You can try to reset the stack TCP/IP go to this article and either click on "Fix it for me" or follow the instructions to fix it yourself:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/299357

Method 2: Check if any program or application is conflicted:

Please post back with the result. If the problem is still not resolved, we will be happy to help you further.

    Hello

I think that the string you give to the new Image (string) must be a URL, not a single file path.

So if you have a file, it would be something like:

    File file = ...;
    Image image = new Image(file.toURI().toURL().toExternalForm());

    Hope this helps,

I had the same problem as the others, that only sudo would make SQLDeveloper to work. After you run a strace on SQLDeveloper with and without sudo, I compared the output of the two and found that a fault was due to the impossibility of finding some awt libraries. So I started to remove the environment variables and discovered that the culprit is GNOME_DESKTOP_SESSION_ID. unplugged just that variable and SQLDeveloper will work fine, at least works very well for me

  • Problem of broken links

Can anyone help? Whenever I try to open a link I get the following error message: "error 102 (net: ERR__CONNECTION__REFUSED)": unknown error. "" The Internet site at: _ may be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. "It's so frustrating! • Unauthorized for restriction administrator settings changes.

(OS = Home XP SP3, Internet through TDS via DSL, security = McAfee total protection). Recently I had problems with Google Chrome and Internet Explorer, but not with Fire Fox connectivity.  Both browsers load, but can not access the Internet despite a good strong connection. I get this error code for google, "error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): unknown erro" and for IE , I get "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page" I have eliminated the problem is a problem with the server or website and or a problem of safety fire wall. In addition, I ran several antivirus and spy ware scans analysis but no help.  I used a lot of resources, Google and assistance Q / forums on the NET and the recurring theme on a solution to my problem seems to be proxy setting and the network settings for both browsers.  Here's where it gets weird and is the reason why I write, I, as the administrator am not able to make the adjustments of proxy settings because onIEbrowser under Tools option the NET has been locked, the operation has been cancelled, a box is displayed after I click on NET options and he says: '' operation cancelled due to restrictions imposed by the administrator. ''  Then who made these changes? I ask my self.  Hard ware? Virus? Don't know but I know he's been through, I guess, my virtual browser settings that follow me via Google Chrome / tool bar. where I have access to the net. Not sure why it did not affect browser Fire Fox?

On Google the NET is accessible but the option for the proxy settings does not work, does not open.  Where there is a block to click on, and you can see where he comes, nothing happens.

How can I reverse these settings and access my settings again?

    Hi Tabacon1,

    1. you remember to make changes to your machine before the problem?
    2. what Internet Explorer that you are using?

I suggest that you follow the steps below and check, if it helps.

    Step 1:

This problem can occur if the Inetcpl.cpl file is missing from the Windows \System or %SystemRoot%\System32 folder or if a restriction is set on the NoBrowserOptions Windows registry value.

I suggest that you follow the steps mentioned in the article to resolve the problem.

Clicking "Internet Options" in the Tools menu returns error message
    http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=216583

    Step 2:

Regarding "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page", you can follow the methods listed in the section below.

You receive an error message in Internet Explorer: "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".

    Hello

I can't access the site on WCM. There are three cases:

    4. when I delete the last version, it throws the exception
If the user wishes to remove the content, the user must remove each version of the content item. When it removes the last version of the document, the AAU throws the error message. Error message network format. GET request must have a value of QUERY_STRING (the CGI on the URL parameters)

The version of the AAU is 10gR 4.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello

If I remember correctly, then points 2 and 4 have problems with a particular version of SS and they have been resolved in the latest version available, which is 9.0.0.651.

Group of 7045416 patches to download and install the component of the SS and the SS Designer (that too had problems and corrected in the latest version), re - test to see if the problem still persists.

As for the coding problem some details might be needed to see how / when it happens.

Fortification at 99% CPU must be analysed to get to the root cause.

It would be better to have 2 new threads for the coding and CPU issues so that they can be considered separately.

    Thank you

  • Using xsl template document - does not not in BI Publisher

    Hello

I have a requirement where I need to display the data in an xml file based on the contents of a second xml. I use Oracle BI Publisher 10.1.3.4.1 and template used for the generation of reports is xsl - fo.

    (1) ReportData.xml - contains the given xml
    (2) ReportFilter.xml - contains the display information.

I need to display the tags in the ReportData.xml based on the presence, absence of different tags in ReportFiler.xml

I guess one option is to declare 2 datasource as use concatenated data sources. However, I am trying to use the 'Document' function which is available in the xsl transformation to reference the xml view.

I tried different options for the use of the service of document

    (* 1) < name xsl: variable = "filterCheck' select = 'document ('ReportFilter.xml')' / > *.

-Error saying: XML-22021: (error) the external document parsing error: "access: file:/"
    C:/OracleBI/oc4j_bi/bin/ReportFilter.XML '.

    "(* 2) < name xsl: variable ="filterCheck' select="document('file:///C:/OracleBI/xmlp/XMLP/DemoFiles/ReportFilter.xml')" / > *.

-Error saying; Caused by: oracle.xdo.parser.v2.XPathException: access: file:/C:/Or
    acleBI/xmlp/XMLP/DemoFiles/ReportFilter.xml

    "(* 3) < name xsl: variable ="filterCheck' select="document('C:/OracleBI/xmlp/XMLP/DemoFiles/ReportFilter.xml')" / > *.

-Error saying: Caused by: java.net.MalformedURLException: unknown protocol: c
    at oracle.xdo.parser.v2.XSLStylesheet.flushErrors (XSLStylesheet.java:153

    "(* 4) < name xsl: variable ="filterCheck' select="document('file:/C:/OracleBI/xmlp/XMLP/DemoFiles/ReportFilter.xml')" / > *.

    Syaying-error: Caused by: oracle.xdo.parser.v2.XPathException: access: file:/C:/Or
    acleBI/xmlp/XMLP/DemoFiles/ReportFilter.xml

I placed the document I need access anywhere above 3
That is to say in my

    (* 1) C file *.
    (* 2) C:/OracleBI/oc4j_bi/bin *.
    (* 3) C:/OracleBI/xmlp/XMLP/DemoFiles *.

Y at - it special permissions that I need to grant access to these files?

Please let me know if anyone has done successfully the function of document to reference other xml in BI Publisher documents.

    Concerning

You might have the property set to true to enable the BEEP external access load the document. Check the docs

    See you soon
