  I am currently installing solidworks 2015 pdm server on a windows 2008 R2 server.  Setup runs about 95% and then I got an error message.

Discovery service was able to start.  Make sure you have sufficient privileges to start the system.  I already ran services.msc and entered the spooler printer and changed the settings with no luck, I get the same results.

  Try these steps and check if the problem persists.
  Step 1: Run Microsoft Fix to diagnose the problem
  a. see you can not add a printer and you receive spooler printer in Windows XP error messages
  b. click Microsoft hotfix and run the tool successfully.
  c. restart the computer.
  d. install the printer and check if the problem persists.

  Step 2: If the problem persists, install the printer by turning off all non-Microsoft programs

  I met the same mistake during the installation of the drivers for a token PKI of Windows 8.

  I discovered the map service smart in the services of MMC has been set to disabled.

  I went it to autostart (haven't started yet manually it) and retried the installation and it seems to have done the trick.

  Please check below the thing.

  Compatible OS & DB put in correspondence with the composer of the view.

  Check database connectivity is correct and you have provided the necessary permissions to the user to DB.

  To above task to create DB user and provide the authorization of database.

  Also, make sure that you have downloaded SQL Native Client 10 for SQL 2008 and windows Native Client 11 for Windows 2012 SQL connected using the SQL user.

  This same SQL user used for the ODBC connection must be used on the installation of composer.

  I saw 1920 error if you do not follow above things, especially if the ODBC user name not matched with view facility composer

  Integration service depends on the service host to Script VMware view Horizon who was disabled.

  Apparently, Setup of service broker does not allow this service and that's why error 1920 was received.

  Have no Dell Host Integration Toolkit (I 4.7.1) installed when you perform an installation/upgrade of Single Sign-On. Once the VMWare software install then you can install the Dell Host Integration Toolkit.

  We had a session short teamviewer and I installed vmx86 and vmauthd-service with sc commands

  Then I put the usual dll but could not continue at this time because we had to finsih the teamviewer session
  next session I'll install and difficulty remains manually

  lesson learned: the WS 8 installer is not yet ready for primetime

  I had this program previously installed on this computer there are many moons.

  My boyfriend did. I guess that he has used his account.

  I was running one day out of HD space, and I deleted it. I just had to dexter season 6 or something equally ridiculous. Anyway, here I try to reinstall it. I've tried everything I can find on this and other forums to help me accomplish this noble seeming goal of simple software installation.

  I have:

  run the CMD in admin

  clean the temp folder

  / cleaning

  / z 'action '=' install '.

  I've even tried some registry fixes

  I tried to restart the computer when my 1920 error appears

  then I do not have admin privileges

  Sometimes I get one of 100 MSI errors when installing it

  Sometimes the error 1920

  If I managed to get the delivery of the program, I can't enter my key

  I don't have administrator rights.

  so. suggestions more?

  Ive also thought services and approval one seems to be broken

  I am the admin, I've always been, I'll always be

  I'm not going to re-enter the regedit.
