Very probably these two KB2982791, KB2970228 updates are the culprits.
You may need to do a system restore to get the printer working again.
I would say to disable automatic updates for Windows, then you can manually go anytime and uncheck that everything related to the printer before performing the updates, so that continue to occur.
Turn automatic update or disable.

Had the same problem, this great worked for me.
1. download the windows update agent:
2. Open command prompt: type: net stop wuauserv
3 guest Type: net stop bits
4 run the windows update agent
5 command prompt Type: Net Start Wuauserv
6. command prompt Type: Net Start Bits
Go update Windows

I can't register for Windows update and receive the error code 0 x 80070002 when I try.
When I try to solve the problem by following the instructions, I'm unable to start or stop the automatic updates in the field of Services. Aspire One 722 just took out of box will not connect to windows update.
I have 2 identical Aspire One notebooks 722 running AMD chipsets running Windows 7sp1 pro. (SNID [redacted to comply with guidelines]) that does not connect to update the window. I have the built-in System Restore on a single noteboook to see if that would fix it. It there no. This is the news, I had them on the Board for the protection of labour. I tried for a month now to get Microsoft updates to work.
I tried all the fixes and the tools I find on the net and within Microsoft to get updated to work and have had no sucsses.
I even went as far as buying a new hard drive and a new copy of Microsoft windows 7sp1 drive still does not work.
Everything elese works fine I can join any network at work. Surf the web, download electronic music or programs. No problem at all with the part of it. I get no error message or it is just to update program and the bar just moves a day if I let him. I do it all the patches from microsoft, they say that all is well, or fixed and still nothing.
Think it's strange that a new disc of win7sp1 with a new HD it still does not work. I'm at my wits end.
Anyone out there have the magic bullet miss me?

Well @ 12:10 CST, I learned that I had 205 updates installed plus 5 in option.
So it is now was the installation of updates since then.
So, it does not. In the review I, that I did not did nothing before.
This time, I did a clean installation of the operating system. Installed all the latest drivers. A through the online activation.
Click updates in short order says something about downloading a new engine update. Screen went white and Brown a few times. Back to update sceeen were he sat running for approximently 12 + hours. Then, the notification of the necessary updates. And now it's @ 65 of 209 updates (installation)
When this is done, I will do the same to the other laptop and hoping for the same results.

Computer will not install the Windows updates
I have 6 new updates will not be installed. The updates are for MS Works 9 and MS Office. Acts of the computer as it installs, but the installation always fails and the next day I always shows the same 6 updates waiting to be installed. What can I do to get these updates to install, or at least get rid of them so my computer stop trying to install every night?

During the installation of updates on my friend's computer, this continuous update fail with code 80070020. I have set the date and time correctly and attempted to install in manually from the windows Web site, and he continues to default. Lightning will not rise after Windows update 10
My computer came installed with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. The computer has a Thunderbolt 2 interface. I loaded the software and the drivers were mounted and worked a lot their use in Garland.
External drives are USB 3.0 and LaCie thunderbolt. The computer was shipped with the HP security software. I did the upgrade to Windows 10; in the Windows dialog box update, said could not be updated without removing the HP security. I said yes, and since that time, readers not only mount. After the update, and readers would not mount. I then used system restored and returned the computer to Windows 7.
When I tried to reload the drivers for LaCie drivers, I get cannot lack of file sysInfo.dll. I download this file, place it in the system 32 folder. After a reboot, I tried and the pilot program installed. However, readers will not rise. I contacted HP and they remote connected to my computer, BIOS update installed, chip set drivers and still drives don't mount not via the port of Thuderbolt2.
They run a lot when it is connected to the USB 3.0 port. My logic is readers are very much like the mount and run fine with USB 3.0, but is no longer the mount with the crush. I am a photographer and work with large files often 1 GB or more. Thus, the impact of lightning speed is desired.
I have the drive Professional OEM Windows 7 SP1, however I have a large amount of the image installed and that you hope to find a way to solve this problem without the operating system reinstallation and all the photo editing programs. A pre thank you for everything that helps her.

Hi, hope you can help.
Laptop does not start (just goes to blank screen, not same logo).
Start-up then F11 I get F11... Lower-left system recovery
Finally, it goes in the HP logo and prepare the AutoFix and then clears the screen after awhile and then crashes.
Commissioning market then F10, I get ESC... Start to break down on the left

I've seen similar errors, but different failure of id, most say replace the HARD drive.
I reinstalled and reconnected the hard drive, does not.
Powered off, removed the power cord and battery and drained (hold down the power button for 30 seconds) and reboot to anything will do.
I have now no functionality on this pc. If I have to replace (1 TB) HARD drive, should I get HP, a set of recovery/usb disks (Web url?)?
Any help/advice welcome
