I also noticed one other issue - the laptop does not recognize the 8 GB of ram chip. (kingston 8GB PC3 - 12800 CL11 204 pins SODIM). It is little matter if I use this RAM, alone or with other RAM - laptop chips recognize only 4 GB or 2 x 4 GB. I GET JUST THE ERROR MESSAGE.       > WHAT AM I DOING WRONG

    Hello

    You can view these methods:

Method 1: As a first step, check to see if the hard disk becomes detected or listed in the Basic Input/Output system (BIOS). Also, be sure to change the boot order in the CMOS settings so that thehard drive is the first on the list.

Note: To learn how, see the documentation provided with your computer or contact the manufacturer of your computer.

Note: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from configuration can resolved BIOS/CMOS settings. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

Method 2: If the manufacturer has installed the Recovery Console on your computer, perform the check disk to fix this.

At the recovery console command line, type:

    Chkdsk /r

When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

Note: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.
