  I have Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit with SP1. I tried to update Itunes and it told me that I needed to uninstall the current version and then reinstall. I did this several times without any problems. This time, when I uninstall it won't let me not uninstall Quicktime, Apple Application Support, or Apple update software.

  When I try to uninstall Quicktime I get the following message. "A newer version of Quicktime is already installed. This cannont installation proceed so that the most recent version of Quicktime is installed".

  When I try to uninstall the Application Support Apple and Apple update I get the message "the feature you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource."

  I installed Revo Uninstaller and it has removed a from there, but Quicktime and Apple programs are always in my programs on my computer. When I try to reinstall Itunes it says I already have a newer version of Quicktime and do not complete the installation.

  I'm completely frusterated. Help, please.

  We checked for the error message on the Apple discussion forums and found a similar question. users were able to solve the problem by manually deleting the existing components of iTunes.

  original error was "already in the process of running FF" - not the view in the task manager - not could close - restarted several times - same results - uninstalled FF and tried the download & installation of new - same message "already running." W8.1 revenue by about 3 weeks (3 updates) - same result when installing FF = already "running." After the message "already running" is always the profile is missing or inaccessible.

  Do the same thing with TB BTW. Using the latest version of VIPRE internet security on automatic update. Nothing like on a W7 and XP machine on the same LAN. Is there a virus on corrupting FF? Scan VIPRE says nothing about the machine of 8.1...

  When you launch Lightroom CC 5 I immediately get an error:

  Apart from the error, I try to go to Lightroom-> Preferences.

  However, preferences DO NOT open.  Should fix this problem.

  Maybe this problem is related to the error reported?

  This function of automatic backup of FM. If this option is enabled, when the time comes to save, copies of FM the current filename.auto.fm.xxx file (where xxx is a random hexadecimal value between 000 - FFF), then deletes the previous auto-sauve file if succcesful and finally renamed .xxx for the. Auto.FM file. This triple is to avoid corruption.

  However, sometimes if there is network congestion, gourmet/aggressive antivirus or you're low space drive or permissions/policies/property are not properly defined (especially under Win7 even when you have administrator rights), then the temporary file cannot be renamed the own name and FM complains with the message "strange suffix" and leaves as is the version of .xxx.

  This question is entirely dependent on the system, and something interferes with the ability of FM to rename at a low level.

  As far as I KNOW, this behavior has been around FM for at least the first version of Windows in the 92
