Hello

Did you try to use different disks and check what's happening?

Step 1: You can try to change the burning of CD or DVD setting and check.
Reference: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Change-settings-for-burning-a-CD-or-DVD-in-Windows-Media-Player

Step 2: Check if the problem persists in the clean boot state.

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

Try the steps in step 1 in the article to put your computer in clean boot mode.

Since you were used to burn before, you can restore the computer to a date when it was working fine before.

  • Satellite Pro M300 - error 2131 when burning CD - r in itunes

    Hi all

I know that this question of error msg is very old, but I can't seem to solve the problem.
I can't burn CD - Rs in itunes, it comes up with * error 2131 * which is apparently an error number that is very well known.

I downloaded RegCure to fix, but because it is a work laptop I can change the registry, because I don't have the admin rights.
I can burn CD - RW using iTunes, but they do not work in my car CD player.

I understand that it is a firmware issue and nothing to do with itunes.

    Please help me

    See you soon,.
    Scott

    Hello!

You're right, it's a firmware issue. In the knowledge base of Toshiba I found this document about the error 2131:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB84026P0000R01.htm

I think that the Satellite M300 is not a European model, it s an American model. So the site search Toshiba for a update of the firmware:

    Good bye

  • Error recovery disc burning

    Hello.

I managed to bur the first DVD with the Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator software on my P300-16 t. Howvere, the second drive still fails on creation.

I get the error message "an unexpected error occurred (error code: 0E01B5-25 - 2A 000000)"»

Is there any solution for this? It took an eternity to burn the first disc - more than 20 attempts, but I tried to create the second disc of at least 40 times so far.

    I use a Verbatim DVD-R discs and DVD - RW because I lost a certain DVD-R discs.

    Thank you.

It is really strange. Two days ago I created the recovery on friends Satellite Pro P300-149 (PSPC1E) DVDs. It is interesting that I used a Verbatim DVD - R blank too.

You have always clean operating system preinstalled?
Try installing the OS using F8 and disturbances of my computer. With preinstalled OS absolutely clean, it should work. I really put t see why this happen.

  • Satellite M40: Power calibration error - drive cannot burn DVD - RW more

My drive is a carpet * an oem UJ - 831S. After a screw-up partitioning job, I had to format my HD and reinstall Windows XP... and then I can not burn DVD - RW more.

Tried many programs such as Nero and a fireman, gives an error of calibration of power from the beginning.
Burning CD - r and CD - RW no problem however, and I can read CDs and DVDs of movies very well.

Google and searched for a month without success, tried to blow the laser lens, but there is no dust, I tried different media, etc. I know the best answer is that the drive is done, BUT I refuse to acknowledge it because it is too big of a coincedence to stop working right after that I reinstalled XP.

An interesting note however, my laptop has not been provided with a CD of Toshiba, so I had to reinstall manually more drivers by downloading the Toshiba site, so I have a funny feeling, this could be a thing of the software/firmware, or even a framework.

I installed the new firmware 1.02 for the reader as well. I don't remember what the firmware was before resettlement, IE the laptop computer settings to factory default, I'd like to downgrade to 1.00 if possible.

Experts have ideas? And is there a way I can reset the firmware?

Maybe I could remove the drive from the system-> devices and let XP Reinstall for me?

    Hello

    > I don't know the best answer is that the drive is done, BUT I refuse to acknowledge it because it is too big of a coincidence to stop working right after that I reinstalled XP.

Of course, it s simply to say the drive is dead because everything looks like a hardware malfunction. Most often the power calibration error appears because of the drive lens can't calibrate in the right position and thus cannot read some CD or DVD s s or it of not possible to write about them.

But maybe you are a lucky man and might try this procedure:
-Try to remove the drive physically from the Bay for laptop
-Restart the unit without the drive
-In this case the operating system should start from the HARD drive
-Close the notebook then reinsert the drive unit in the Bay of s for laptop
During initialization, the laptop should recognize the drive and must pick up the firmware

Then you can check if you can burn the DVD again, otherwise you will need a new drive

  • "Error message" DVD burning

Can anyone help please. I have a HP Pavilion Media Center m8277c Desktop model. I use Roxio Creator to burn copies of CDs and DVDs. The program copies my DVD on the hard drive. When he tells me to put a disk, I do, and then a few minutes later a message window comes up with the yellow triangle. He tells me there is an error and I should click the retry button or insert a new disk. None of these suggestions work. I checked my program. I check the disc. I checked the updates. It tell me that everything is working properly. I don't understand? Thanks to all of you who are really computer savy which can help you!

    Hello

Try Imgburn to copy your disk.  You can also use Imgburn to make sure the media you enter what to use is compatible with your optical drive.

Do not try to copy a commercial DVD because they are protected against copying.

  • Substitute the lack of rights of use error "cannot play, burn, or synchronize the file because that media rights are missing"

I recorded my own music on several cd (using a computer with XP). I took these CDs and I snatched a few pieces in Win Media Player (on a more recent with Win 7 laptop) so I could do a "best of" disc type. I made 2 of them before. Now, I can't burn the same playlist titles to a 3rd cd because I get the message "can't read, burn, or synchronize the file because the media rights are missing." There is no right of media since I recorded this music and I have already burned 2 CDs of this same music on this same computer. Why they were so short?

I downloaded the software updates. Could it be the problem?

How can I replace this error message which is in error?

    Thank you.

You cannot, if it is, the security protection would be worthless.  It would be like cracking after a password.  It's a shame, I know, but you will need to copy the files again without any protection applied.

  • Windows 7 0xC0AA301 error code while burning ISO of Windows 8 file.

Whenever I try to burn the ISO image downloaded to a DVD, I get a 0xC0AA301 error code. I downloaded the 64 bit and 32 bit of Windows 8 versions and the same error code. I am using Windows 7 as my current operating system. Is there a solution to this? The 64-bit version is 3.27 GB in size, and the 32-bit version is 2.43 GB in size. I downloaded using my Wifi and wired connections. Please let me know of any patches for this.

I was able to install Windows 8 RP using USB/DVD installation and booting from the USB key.  But thanks for the information.

"DVD burning speed. This option allows you to select the speed to burn your DVD. The default value is the fastest growing. Some DVD burners do not burn at full speed if you use certain types of DVD. If you have a problem burning a disc, try selecting medium or slow. "Also try another brand of blank DVD.

  • Unknown error 2130906112 when burning DVDs in Premiere Elements

Hi am trying to burn a DVD using Premiere Elements 3.0. My computer will go the long process of trying to burn the CD. In the end, the drive appears the DVD out and I get a message stating: unknown error 2130906112. I have burned successfully in the past, but can't now. I tried to do it on 7 times with this specific project and have had no success. I used two types of DVD + R (Memorex and Verbatim). My project is about 56 minutes. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

This seems to be the week for DVD burning problems...

My first recommendation would be to use PRE to 'Burn to Folder. " Normally, when you press the "Burn" button, PRE must in fact do 2 things: 1) encode your project in DVD format and then 2) burn these files on a real DVD. When we "burn to the folder', PRE will perform step 1 (encode your project to the DVD format), but instead of burning the DVD real media files, it will be just to save these files to the hard disk location that you specify.

There are several advantages to this, but our immediate advantage is that if you have any burning questions, you can restart just the burning step - you don't need to wait to do the coding.

So, step 1. Go, select the disc. In "Burn To", instead of "DVD", select 'File' (4.7 GB). Choose the folder location, and then click on burn. When FORWARD is finished, you can go to the location of the specified folder and see that it created a VIDEO_TS folder under the selected folder. VIDEO_TS that contains your encrypted DVD project.

Step 2 will actually be burning your DVD. If you have Nero, or something similar, you can use it. Otherwise, there is a free program called ImgBurn which works very well. The important thing at this stage is to choose the slow burning speed you can tolerate (I use usually 2 X or 4 X if I'm in a hurry). Use the Verbatim, not the Memorex media.

Try this and report on what happened.

If it does not burn, at least just to focus on step 2, which will have nothing to do with fixing FRONT.

  • Burning CDs with Windows Media Player in Windows 7. "Error: connect a burner and restart the player.

Original title: CD burning with Windows Media Player in Windows 7

When I try to burn an audio CD with Windows Media Player, I get the message "connect a burner and restart the player.

I am able to burn audio CDs using ITunes, so I don't think that my CD/DVD burner is defective.

Thanks for your help.  The "fix it" has not worked, but I checked the settings of my Nero 8, Nero Toolkit, Nero Burn Rights program, and he was the one who said "everyone has burn rights" or "nobody burn rights.  When I changed the option to "everyone", everything started to work properly.
