  It is unclear what exectly arrived, but looks like a change was made in the dimension entity planning (not EPMA) and then deployed (successfully).

  In essbase, we see that the entity dimension has only one member left for the appropriate plan types, as in the planning.

  If you remove members and then push that yes the essbase data is deleted, if you need back then you will need to go back to your restore process.

  Hi all

  I'm developing an application of classical planning using Hyperoin 11.1.2.2

  I came across a scenario where a specific business rule is executed when the data are recorded on a specific data form. (IE run save the data form item)

  Currently, this rule executes all Member of the entity Dimension.

  Is it possible that this rule is run only for one member of the entity (that is currently selected in the Section Page of this form of data)

  Please note: I don't want to use run the guests of time i.e. I don't want my user to explicitly specify which Member of the entity in the RPT. In our its obvious business logic this business rule is only required to run for the member selected in the entity Dimension

  You must create a Variable of RTP of the type member, when you associate this rule save this form of data, select the option use members on forms of data and hide guests in this way you don't get the window prompt and BR will perform for a specific entity.

  Try to install windows 8 on a PC that is currently running Window XP.  It starts the installation but asks me to change the folder or the file C:\Users on C drive name. The second instruction is to change the folder or filename to C:\ProgramData on drive C.   Don't know what to do?  Thank you!

• Journal templates change the entity in POV after validation

  Hi guys,.

  We have recently migrated to the 11.1.2.3 version. After the creation of models of journal with a specific entity registered in the POV, we notice that wen posting journals, the entity on the POV has been reset to the entity at the top of the hierarchy.  Each unique journal is posted in the wrong place, although in the model, there is a predefined entity.

  Have you ever experienced this problem? How do solve you?

  Install the patch appropriate to upgrade to version 11.1.2.3.500. We had a similar problem and the patch solved that one.

• Error changing folder names.

  Need help to be able to change the names of the folder other than the new folder 1, 2, 3 etc.

  It is probably a permissions problem.  You can do anything with these files (move them, copy, paste,...)-if so, maybe the permissions, but rather a corruption of file system that must be dealt with another way - post back if this is the case (but you can try these options anyway to see if they work - they could).

  To view your permissions, right-click on the file/folder, click Properties, and check the Security tab.  Check the permissions you have by clicking on your user name (or group of users).  Here are the types of permissions, you may have: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-are-permissions.  You must be an administrator or owner to change the permissions (and sometimes, being an administrator or even an owner is not sufficient - there are ways to block access (even if a smart administrator knows these ways and can move them - but usually should not because they did not have access, usually for a very good reason).)  Here's how to change the permissions of folder under Vista: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-vista/set-file-folder-permissions-vista/.  To add take and the issuance of right of permissions and ownership in the right click menu (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/05/21/take-and-grant-full-control-permissions-and-ownership-in-windows-7-or-vista-right-click-menu/.

  It all depends on what tools you use and whether it is classic or EPMA.
  If you want to remove all the members, then you will need to ensure that they are not referenced anywhere in the application example forms and workflow.

• Name of the different dimension in a library of applications and planning application

  In dimension Dimension library and application library name is CC_Entity, in the Planning & Essbase is the name of the entity dimension. Application has been deployed recently.   Select the name of the Dimension system property. For example, CC_entity. See if the Alias of the entity Dimension. The dimension in planning is the Alias "Dimension".
