  • Do not install the updates of Windows

Original title: I get the 2 new updates prompt window. 9 same updates go to the process of trying to install, but the facilities fail. Any other installed in addition to the same new install, but the same nine fail again. Help?

Can not know what to do.

    Hi Eddie,.

    Method 1

View update history to know which update is not installing.

    (a) open Windows Update by clicking Start , all programsand then click Windows Update.

    (b) in the left pane, click view update history.

    (c) to view more information about an update, double-click it.

Once you know the update's KB number then visit the Microsoft Download and put the number in the search box, download and install the update manually.

    Method 2

If the previous step fails then I would suggest that you reset Windows Update components and try to install the updates.

Oh - and if you use the device - if it is * installed *-keep it patched.  There is a lot of duplication of products inside the suite Microsoft Office - better if you have installed all parts, you keep all these pieces that have been updated.

I get an error code 9370001 ever time I try to update my home premium 32-bit systememember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

Try to download and install manually by download on your desktop and install them one by one. Insert the number of KB to get updates on the right and choose the one corresponding to your version of Vista: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx.

If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  Disable your security software.  Then try the updates again. Once this is done (if it worked) don't forget to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

  • do not install the update to Windows 7 has no updates more

    Hello

I recently purchaesd my Windows 7 Ultimate and installed it on my PC. However, I installed updates with Windows Update, but it says a handful of security updates has not, and I can't get them to download. I clicked on update check, and nothing seems to come except updates of language packs... I am sure that these updates are essential, and I would like to get this working. Can anyone help?

Through the graphic you posted showing all installed updates... no problem updating.
From now on, Windows 7 doesn't have that many updates.

It is difficult to read the KB numbers in the graph, but it seems that all updates that failed to install are now properly installed.
The last successful update was the version of the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool on 11/14 November.

However, the Windows Defender updates are faulty.
What 's next for security/antivirus installed?
If the security software contains an antispyware element, then WD is supposed to be disabled and won't be updated.
If this is not the case, then right click on the last update failed for WD and choose details
The window that opens should show an error next code of Error Details:

  • ERROR CODE 606 CAUSING FAILURE OF THE UPDATES OF WINDOWS 'IMPORTANT' 10

Help, please!  I try to install the last "10 important updates" for Windows, which I was informed automatically.  I tried 4 times in 2 days now and each of them settled due to the 'error Code 606'.  When I click on "help", he pulls up "WindowsUpdate_00000646" "WindowsUpdate_dt000" If that's any help.  Each time, it goes through all the motions, past by restarting as usual, then I get the same reminder of updates, showing "failed" on all of them.  I have not had this problem before.  I don't know what to do to get these updates installed.  I NEED HELP ASAP!  I am a user of impressive program but not at all a geek who can solve the problems that arise, and I have no one to turn to in my personal circle.

First of all try to install updates when you're disconnected from the internet.

If no joy, then try to manually download the same and install.
You can search the individual updates here:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx

He just put in the KB number and then perform a search.

If this still creates one problem another thing you can try is disable the User Account Control first download before the update manually. See: (Guided Help: settings to adjust user account control in Windows 7):

  • Error code 28: could not find the drivers. Windows 7 64 bit could not find the drivers for my Seagate Expansion Portable Drive. The same system works for another 32-bit version of windows 7.

Hi, I would be grateful for help on this, I bought a new seagate expansion external hard drive not too long ago (abt 3 months old) and tried to use the device only recently (to back up my files). Windows has detected the drive but says that it could not find the drivers. (code 28)

When I tried the drive on a 32-bit computer, it showed up working find and dandy. When it is plugged in the computer of the alien-ware, same error.
Tried the uninstall from Device Manager and restart the computer, still the same error.
Services.msc open and found windows install offshore. He turned on automatic, but the same error came out. Plug and play Windows was already working.
Checked Windows SP1 worked, still the same error.
    He got me completely baffled.
Before this, I had other problems with USB and disabled driver signature Verifier (I think that's what it was called) before you boot into windows. Worked very well for my flash drives each time that I did.
I also had another external HARD drive which was held only 160G and it worked, so I'm not sure what the problem is with this particular external hard drive.
Please help, I'm going crazy on this problem...

The specifications of my devices are as follows:
    Computer
    Model:
    Alienware M14x
    Type of system:
