Hi, my question is my pc caanot install winzip. When I update the window appears the question like this: error code 800F080D. How to solve this problem?

Thanks for your help!

Thank you.  These screenshots have helped.

For the Fixit, you press the Fixit button and it will give you the possibility to check run aggressive Mode.  Do not check it.  Press the next button.   It should work in default Mode.  Restart Windows Update - if it did not work, run the Fixit in aggressive Mode

To run it in aggressive mode, check the option of aggressive Mode when you press the fixit again.  Restart Windows Update

    Hi shilly3191,

    1. What is the name of the update that you are trying to install?

This problem can occur if the manifest of components (CBS)-based services is corrupted.

Try these steps and check the result.
Step 1: Scanner of sfc (System File Checker) to see if any system file is missing or damaged. To do this, try the following steps:
    a. visit http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
    b. run the scan successfully.
    c. restart the computer so that the changes take effect and try to install the updates.

Step 2: If the problem persists, perform the upgrade on the spot
    a. see article method 3
    b. check if the problem persists.

  • Vista - error code: 80070424 & dt000 (cannot install updates)

I turned on my computer this morning and shortly received the message that updates did not.  When I clicked on the message, above what was evidence.  I tried to do some troubleshooting on mine, without success.  I had received an error message telling me that an unauthorized change was made to Windows (which I did) and that I receive no updates on my license or activation of last week.  I went through the process to validate the system.  I went for the weekend, and this is what I came back.

I come to you to ask for help.  I am running Windows Vista.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi cgccmt100,
