  A12E5 is a download error. Please follow the steps:

  Mac:

  Navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and rename to OOBE.old.

  Go to Applications/Utilities and trash Application Manager and creative cloud desktop folder.

  Download and install CC Office again. If the problem still persists, then restart the Mac start-up and try reinstalling: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/start-safe-boot-mode-mac.htm l .

  Please try the steps mentioned in the http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/a12e1-error-downloading-creative-cloud.html, before re-installing Adobe Creative Suite cloud step as below:

  OOBE and rename OOBE.old, OOBE location:

  Windows:-C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE

  and

  \AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE name of C:\Users\[user]

  In Mac;--Finder--> Macintosh HD--> computer---> Library--> Application support--> Adobe---> OOBE

  • Open Manager (Mac) activity or Task Manager (Windows)
  • Search for "AAM updated stating" in the list of processes (sort by process name helps)
  • Highlight it, then click on 'Process to quit', say yes to the warning
  • Stop eating Actiivty
  • Try to install again

  Creative suite CS6 is already installed.

  All creative cloud subscriber, by clicking 'Download' on DW, I was told that I had to update my AAM. So I clicked on the links and downloaded to the desktop and 'run as administrator '. It seems updtaing and install but to halfway through she throws the error message "sorry, there seems to be a problem with the download process (error code: A12E5).

  I tried this seveal times and restarted the PC but all without success. "I also tried to uninstall CS6, but fails and throws an error message.

  Hi Jeff,

  Thanks a lot for your pointers in this case. After Reinstalling windows, etc., as described in my previous post, all this needed was a reboot. When I looked in windows update, it was installing 154 updates at the same time I tried to install DW. That's probably why.

  It is the simple things in life!

  Anyway, everything's fine now. Thanks a lot again

  I solved the problem.  I had to first download the creative cloud application and then install other apps of the creative cloud app.
