ERROR CODE KB 970653... CANNOT UPDATE... 800706431 ERROR CODE. DIDN'T TRY TO UPDATE SEVERAL TIMES NO LUCK. CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE

Eileen,
I need you to check the error code that you found.  The one you posted is 1 number more than normal.  If you go to Windows Update, then select "View installed updates", it will show you both the updates failed.  Double-click the update failed and get the error code of the info box.
