I downloaded and installed the KB974821 tool - tells me it installed - same problem. (I don't know if I'm supposed to do something else with KB974821 - I have to "run" or just "installed" it enough?)   I tried to download and install the updates manually - without success - I get various error messages, like "does not apply to your system" or "for a different hardware platform.
