• Cannot access the other ICC profiles in LIghtroom CC 2015

  All of a sudden I am not able to access the other ICC profiles in soft proofing mode or in the print job module. It does not list the last ICC profile that I used and I cannot have access to the 'other', the list of the largest. When I try Lightroom just hangs.

  I know that the complete list of profiles is loaded into Photoshop and they appeared all when I select other profiles there. Any suggestions?

• Crashes Firefox attempts to access the windows user profiles (maybe)

  After several relocations and other attempts based on comments found in the various positions in the solutions, I'm still stuck here. Firefox installs and works ok with high permissions (run as administrator), but crashes frequently then run normally. In normal mode it still crashes when opening the 'options' dialog box on: page preferences and when you download a file. It sometimes crashes when browsing. No high mode installation happens to 90 percent and crashes, elevated installation works very well. An explanation would be that firefox doesn't have access to C:\users\ < profile >------... at the level he needs, but I was not able to find out why. IE seems to work very well, and I reset the default security settings in IE. The signing of the accident say nothing useful about the reason. I adjusted all the firewall and down the ladder. Everything worked until I got other problems requiring aggressive edits and now all but firefox works. Basic navigation in firefox is ok, and work the plugins like flash and acrobat. So I was stuck on this for about a week, limping and try things.   So my next move was to create a new user account. The new user has been able to use Firefox normally. Several other problems existed with the original, but not as bad as Firefox user account. In any case, with user created a new account and the old one deleted, it seems once again things are finally normal. My guess is that some elements in the account data has been deleted, by something or someone, and Firefox to access, but did not check the possibility he wasn't there.

  You can also try the below methods following the steps by Tim De Baets.
  Method 1: Rebuild the windows media player.
   
  a. exit Windows Media Player.
  b. Click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Playerand then click OK.
  c. Select all files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.
  Note You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.
  c. restart Windows Media Player.
  Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.
  
  If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:
  a. exit Windows Media Player.
  b. Click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoftand then click OK.
  c. Select the Media Player folder, and then click on Delete on the file menu.
  d. restart Windows Media Player.
  Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.
   
  Method 2: Disable and enable the windows media player. Follow these steps:
   
  a. open the control panel in the start menu.
  b. open programs and features in Control Panel.
  Note: If programs and features are not available, change seen by large icons at the top right of the control panel.
  c. Select Turn Windows features on or off in the left column of the window programs and features.
  d. click on the plus sign next to multimedia functions.
  e. uncheck Windows Media player, and then click OK. (You may receive a warning message. Click Yes).
  f. restart your computer.
  g. to reactivate the media center follow the same steps and place a check for Windows Media player.
  h. click on the Ok button.

  I already deleted database library as suggested by some of the forums, also disabled the media as a feature of Win 7, rebooted and then re-enabled it.  I also disconnected externally and restarted that as well, I'm also the same mistake with a cd in the cd drive as well.

  This error may occur for one of the following reasons:
  The file is currently in use. Close the file and then try again.

  You are not allowed to access the location where the file is stored.

  Follow these steps to grant all permissions in the folder where the files are stored:
  1. right click on the folder on the external drive and click Properties.
  2. in the Properties window, click on Security tab.
  3. now, click Edit , and then click Add.
  4. now, type everyone in the box and click OK.
  5. check the full control box.
  6. click on apply and then click OK.

  1. click on start.
  2. go in Control Panel.
  3. Select "SOUND".
  4. double-click on speakers.
  5. click on the tab advanced and then uncheck the enable audio enhancements.

  Hi I encounter an error message "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You don't have appropriate permissions to access. »

  The error message every time I click on administrative tools of the window (including the Control Panel, windows update, the Windows Explorer, etc.) but without impact on other programs I have.

  I rebooted in safe mode and discover that everything works fine (no error message will appear when you click on window management tools).

  I proceed to do a clean boot-> first disable all services of third parties (message yet to come), and then clear the components of the service windows (message yet to come)

  I tried to type "explorer.exe" in the start menu-> search field then click right highlight to run with administrative rights, then received another message of error "Server execution failed".

  I am the administrator account on this PC - and have full access.

  My solution works in about 2 minutes, it's a very weird error and only happened to 3 jobs in the last 3 years, this solution does not need to create another account if local administrator is active and allows access to the corrupt user documents ect.

  Log in as the local administrator or a domain administrator

  If the local administrator is not activated refer to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555910 and after completing these newspapers of steps on the local administrator account.

  Locate the user for example files. C:\Users\[username]\

  If you see no AppData press Alt to see the toolbar at the top of the window, select Tools > folder options, go to the view tab and select "Show hidden files, folders and drives" click OK.

  Go to AppData\Local

  Select all (Ctrl + a).

  Delete

  * Do not delete credentials (as it will remove their wallpaper) *.

  This allows to release the error.

  1. when exactly you receive this error?

  2. don't you make changes to the computer before this problem?

  You can try to rename the catroot2 folder and check if it helps.

  Step 1:

  a. Click Start and in run type C:\windows\system32 and click ok

  b. find the Catroot2 folder. Right-click on Catroot2 and rename it to Catroot2.old

  If you are not able to do the normal mode, try to start in safe mode and rename
