Error in audio - output Satellite P200-1EE - Toshiba HD DVD player problem

Hello

I'm new here so I don't know if I'm in the right forum or not, if I'm not I apologize.

I have a Satellite P200-1EE and tried to play DVDs on Toshiba HD DVD player but everytime I try it comes up with an error message saying "an error has occurred in the audio output settings. Please check audio driver is set up correctly. »

I tried the update audio drivers but it tells me that I have already installed the drivers the best.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Hello

What OS do you have?
What is Vista?

If yes then another question; have you installed SP1?

Please also see the European driver of Toshiba page and choose your model of laptop.
There is a DVD HD v4.32.00 patch reader.
The other version 4.51.07 HD DVD player is a full version and if the patch won't work, then you must install the full version.

See you soon

He's certainly the same question as in your case and the solution was a DVD player patches installation or installation of new full HD DVD player.

Notes; the Vista should be also updated!

  • Satellite P200 and Toshiba HD-DVD-sound but no picture

I have a Satellite P200-1EE. When you use the pre-installed Toshiba HD - DVD player to play DVD, I get no picture only sound pieces. Should I update etc?

The DVD and others play OK on other programs. Any ideas.
    Thank you

I'm not 100% sure but I think that Toshiba has designed the HD-DVD player for only the HD-DVD media.

According to the specifications of the laptop on your laptop must be available to both players. A Toshiba DVD player and a Toshiba HD-DVD player. Am I right about that?

    > The DVD and others play OK on other programs
    And which do you use?

  • Satellite P200-1EE: DVD player HD Toshiba "video output for external device cannot".

    Need help!

My P200-1EE won't play HD DVDs. At startup the HD DVD software with an HD DVD in the drive, the drive displays on the screen, and after a short time returns an error. The message is ' + Toshiba HD DVD Player - impossible to output the video to an external device. Please change your display device by pressing the FN + F5 keys after the end of the application ' +.

Problem is that I do not use any display on the screen of the laptop. Only the screen of the laptop is available when I use FN + F5 suggestion. It does not cure the problem.

Drivers are up to date as far as I can tell.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello

I searched this forum for similar issues and I think I have a solution.
It seems that the Realtek audio driver causes this problem.

According to this Toshiba document a new soud driver installation will help you solve this problem of HD - DVD.

    Check it;
HD DVD title does not play ("unable to output the video to an external device")

  • Satellite P200-1EE - Vista stuck on the homepage

    Hello

    * My Satellite P200-1EE is stuck on the progress bar Windows Vista since yesterday morning * and I'm unable to contact my office.

I tried several solutions using the F8 key at startup.

    1 / safe mode

2 / startup repair. "Windows cannot repair this computer automatically.

3 / the system restore. "No restore point.

4 / windows complete PC Restore. "No restore point.

5 / Windows memory diagnostic tool. It is said that there is no problem of memory.

So I am only left with the options of 'Restore the full Windows operating system' and the 'command prompt '.

But I'm not too sure of the latter option. That's where I need your advice.

    * If I go for complete Windows restore, the entire hard drive fade or just the partition where I have windows (for example, "C:")? * I have several years of family photos on another partition (D or E) that I would not lose enough.

Obviously, * I do not lose data or software on C:, but not personal stuff D or E.*
Could you advise me on the best option?

    Thank you

    Paul

    > If I go for complete Windows restore, the entire hard drive fade or just the partition where I have windows (for example, "C:")? I have several years of family photos on another partition (D or E) that I would not lose enough.

Depends on the disc that you would use if you want to use the Toshiba recovery disc, then the whole HARD disk would be formatted, including all partitions on the HARD drive.
If you want to use the disk in Microsoft Windows Vista, you can choose which partition has been formatted and where the Vista must be installed.

    > Clearly, I do not lose data or software on C:, but not personal stuff on D or E.
    > Could you advise me on the best option?

If you n t want to lose the data stored on the D partition and if you don t have a disc of Microsoft Vista, install the OS of Visa then I would recommend, remove the laptop HARD drive. Then plug the 2.5 SATA HDD with a USB-SATA controller then this HARD drive to another computer.
Usually, you should be able to access the D partition and would be able to move all the data to another computer.

It is maybe something wrong with the battery of laptops of s?
How old is your laptop? Guarantee is valid?

As far as I know, the guarantee covers the battery for one year. Then maybe you should ask and ASP in your country for a control? Maybe the battery doesn't work as it should.

I n t have a solution to deliver you but I assume that it s associated with the software/driver of webcam.
You should visit the European driver Toshiba page from time to time and need to check if an update is available.

  • Satellite P200-1EE does not read HD DVD drive TS-L802A HD

I bought a P200-1EE of PC World and have found since that she has huge problems for reading HD DVDs via HD Toshiba DVD player software.

I bought the last movie of Harry Potter of Warner Brothers to test the drive. Player software launches (after recognizing the media) once I inserted the disc to hd, but it crashes then once he eventually tries to read the disc. I know that the drive is ok because it worked without any problem on the Xbox HD dvd player, and on about 60 attempts, he played twice!

The guys from PC World pulled a 1EE another P200 of their warehouse and after it is autoconfig he had the same problems, that is to say he ran the player then locked with a black screen (no error) and we finish the task the software does not respond.

I'm a little frustrated and can not find the Board of anywhere. I have updated the bios of laptop computers, but can not find updates the firmware for Player software or drive. The driver doesn'tseem to have updates or the other (version 6.0.6000.16386)

I have an exceptional appeal with Tosh but I hope someone else can have solved something similar.

I am also looking for support playing movies through the HDMI cable, if I can get the laptop working.

Thanks for your time my dear SIRS.

    Hello

You use the Toshiba HD DVD player?
If yes-> trying to update from Toshiba's HD DVD player with the update published on the Qosmio G30.
There is an update of this utility, and the original version must be installed to perform this update!

But please don t forget a fact; HD DVD technology is very recent, and not all movies have been designed with the same level.
Sometimes may occur that the player will manage all HD DVD.

Of course, you could try to test other HD DVD movies to ensure that equipment (HD-DVD player) is not defective

  • Satellite P200-1EE - hard drive not found if I try to install XP

    Hi I have a problem.

I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite P200-1EE laptop computer series (of all things) running Vista and nothing else problems so im trying to install XP Professional and crush Vista.

But whenever I try to install it says "disc not found... no access to.
I heard about such problems before something as a "block of software Protocol.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello!

Why you n t search forum before starting a new topic?
I mean you will find hundreds of discussions on this question here in the forum and you will find the solution to your problem in a few minutes.

Well, the reason for this is because you need the SATA drivers before installing Windows XP. As far as I know that your laptop is equipped with an Intel chipset and so you have the Intel Storage Manager. You can integrate the drivers of external floppy drive or nLite [www.nliteos.com]. Please don t forget a fact; HD DVD technology is very recent, and not all movies have been designed with the same level.
Probably, this could be a reason why the movie Harry Potter HD DVD does not work!

You might try another HD DVD to make sure that the HD DVD drive is not defective.

    A question:
You use the Toshiba HD DVD player?
You could try to update from Toshiba's HD DVD player with the update published on the Qosmio G30.

  • Increases brightness screen Satellite P200-1EE

Hello, I received by Satellite P200-1EE with Windows Vista Home Premium.

Some time ago I found that the screen itself become very bright. Usually after one or two hours, sometimes faster after coming back from the screen saver. Yet it's brighter, then I can set up using windows options or functional keys, I see not too much on the screen then. What can cause this problem?

I hope that there is no hardware problem. Help, please.

    Hello

This means that the brightness of the display will change automatically?

Well, it's really hard to say why this is happening. Normally, you set a certain point for the brightness of the screen in each power profile, for example, symmetrical or optimized battery.
    Check it!

Also, make sure that all Windows updates are installed.
In addition, I would recommend updating BIOS. You can find it on the Toshiba site.

  • Satellite P200-1EE does not properly of the HD-DVD play

    Hello

My Satellite P200 - 1EE laptop doesn t play DVD s correctly when the DVD loads up it plays but stops and starts as a 'jump' CD and the dubbing is very bad.
So, I tried the setting on my DVD player program but made no difference at all

I think HD-DVD player is broken.
    Can someone help?

    Hello

I guess you are trying to read HD DVD using the HD DVD from Toshiba player.
    Am I wrong?

So first of all, you should try to update your HD Toshiba DVD player software.
Then, check if the HD-DVD player firmware update is possible.

The two parties, you should find on the European driver Toshiba page!

I noticed that Toshiba updated own HD-DVD player software and that has solved several problems about the HD-DVD playback.

    Good luck & best regards

  • Can I add another HARD drive to my Satellite P200-1EE?

I have recently just bought a Toshiba Satellite P200-1EE. I can't blame it, it's great having a HD-DVD player, Vista Home Premium, 2 GB of RAM and 160 GB Hard Drive. The only problem is that I'm worried that 160 GB will go very quickly in adding games for Windows Game, being a game up to 16 GB.

So I wonder, in the model P200 - 1EE, is there a free slot in one of the hard drive bays, and if so, it would be possible to insert a 2.5 "Western Digital Scorpio SATA Drive (WD3200BEV) 320GB in there?
http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.asp?driveid=377he on this hard drive details at this page:

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Say the user manual?
Please see the user manual that must be preinstalled on your laptop.

As far as I know not all laptops Satellite P200 would support the second HDD due to lack of second HARD disk controller.
That's why it of necessary to check the second span for the HARD drive connectors available.

Remove the second HARD drive Bay cover and the devil if the interface is not available.

  • Satellite P200-1EE: How can I activate my Bluetooth

How can I activate my bluetooth on I don't can't find it.
I have BT on the bottom of my laptop and it's also on the box, but I can't find it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Satellite P200-1EE PSPB6E-0GM028EN was not equipped with the BT module ;)
SO you will not be able to start!

If you want to use BT technology, then you could try t use an external USB BT stick.

    Good bye

  • Satellite P200-1EE has built-in BT?

This will sound like a really stupid question (coming from someone who has worked in the computer industry)...

I saw a lot of mention on the ' * Bluetooth *' feature, but * how do I know for certain if my 'lappy' it has *, _ * or * _ even better * if he was ever installation * for it
    (I have a * Satellite P200-1EE *-if that makes a difference)?

Are there BT labels at the bottom of the unit?
If not-> then it is NOT of Bluetooth
If yes-> while the laptop supports the BT and can be activated using the FN + F8 keys
