error in glibc 2.4
Hi, I downloaded the 1.0 native SDK on Linux SuSe 9 and I tried my application is compiled. But when I start the compilation process, the very first line of compilation, it throws the error:
QCC: /lib/tls/libc.so.6: version 'GLIBC_2.4' not found (required by CQS)
make: * [/ source/se/mgr.qnx.sh] error 1
I don't know what is the error... According to me, it's that CQS needs libc.so.6 which inturn requires glibc 2.4 compile. I'm not sure how to approach this problem because I have read in several other places is not genrally a good idea to install glibc 2.4. Can someone please.
I don't think that we support Suse.
Please try the NDK on Ubuntu.

Horizon Access Point device - glibc patch
All,
I'm trying to get the fix from glibc installed (listed here: https://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 2144090) on the access point device 2.0.1. However, I find that rather difficult since SSH does not work. The sshd is present on the device, but even after the service started, trying to SSH to the device does not work. I tried to fix PermitRootLogin Yes , on the/etc/ssh/sshd_config file, but the SSH connection prevents error'ing with the message "software caused the abandonment of the connection.
I found that iptables is not set to block anything on the device. Nothing is blocking the SSH on my internal network port to the place where the unit sits. How am I supposed to get the installed glibc fix if I can't get the rpm file downloaded on the device?
Thank you
Ended up using an internal web server (WSUS server) to host the rpm file and then used wget to retrieve the file on the device. It is now installed.

File system error, cannot be deleted
Hey,.
I had to rebuild a RAID array on a customer Server (in fact I redid it completely). While at it, I upgraded ESXi 4.1 to 5.0 u1. After that, I can't add the RAID array storage. I think a lot, it is the previous file system which is f - ed, but it seems that no matter what I I can not erase completely everything on it. Here are the commands I tried:
vmkfstools - ch. /vmfs/devices/disks/eui.22570001555c70ed vmfs3
It gives me:Could not check for existing on the device file system "/ vmfs/devices/disks/eui.22570001555c70ed".

It seems to work, I get results back, but run the above commands again gives the same results if. Can someone help me with this please?OK, so I tried to look for other combinations of error messages and others and found some info on that. Seems he is kind of a common problem and it is generally due to two reasons.
(1) the logic unit number is too big (more than 2 TB). However, mine was 1.82 TB.
(2) if there is previous data on the VMWare drives may have problems reading it. I reset (both quick and full), the RAID repeatedly, which is supposed to make the blank disc, but it did not help.
But see the ' Note: sector size is 4096 (not 512) "message made me think. Maybe I chose the size of sector 'wrong' when I recreated the RAID array... I went into the RAID bios and deleted the berries, recreate them again with the sector size 512. In addition, to be absolutely sure, I created two logical drives instead of one; 1 @ 1 TB and 1 @ 820GB.
Booted up and went well add guide to storage again and this time it worked fine.
I remember no adjustment of the sector size to anything other than the default value is 512. And even with a size of 4 KB allocation. So, really, I'm leaning towards the size of the logical disk. Odd how VMWare is supposed to manage up to 2048 GB, but still.

Check for 2 things-
(a) is the directory where you extracted your software (disc 1) and under Disk1, you should see the following files. WT.zip is this?
a@adcxxxxxxx Disk1] $ ls
install plugins response stage WT.zip libskgxn
JDK SGD runInstaller wls
(b) as mentioned Courtney, you ignore a failure of pre - req and I suspect that you have not the glibc package on your host.

Yes, you will need to change as its been shown.
I think during the last setup you could give ignoreprerequists - option to ignore these errors.
So its best to change the kernel parameter as shown in output and then try again. This will solve your problem.

This seems to be an assert in the glibc library (I guess), but I don't know how to debug the problem or go around.
After this error, almost any other order segfaults, so it seems to be an alteration of the memory as a component.
Any ideas?
It's called bug reported on debian. "Just google and see the result.
/usr/bin/perl: double free or corruption".

Uninstall software update Apple says error in seller contact package package unstaller
Try to get itunes working to make a backup of my faulty iphone before repair.
First-itunes does not start says error. I'm trying to fix it, who said success but same error when you try to start it.
Then uninstall completely worked. Then reinstall that seemed to be over except for a message "an older version of Apple software update already exists" then he went down and install itunes apparently had not been completed.
Then I try to remove the update from the apple software and executed by an error in the installation program - it says there is an error in the installation and contact the supplier of the installation package. Same error if I run the uninstall command line program.
Try to repair the Apple Software Update of programs & features Control Panel and then try to update iTunes again.
For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.
Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.
The more information box has direct links with the current and recent if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with third-party software.
Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.
