Error initializing 2234-HECI.

Hello

I got a PC from a customer who give this error code when starting: 2234-HECI during initialization error.

It's a Compaq HP Elite the 8300 Ultra Desktop Slim (B2C87UT).

I loaded the default setting in the BIOS and I've also updated for the reverend 2.90 (last on the HP site)

Some googling error 2233 refer to a faulty motherboard and need to replace.

I would like to know if it's the same thing with the error code 2234.

Thank you

Charles

Hi, Charles:

Here is the link to the service manual.

http://h20628.www2.HP.com/km-ext/kmcsdirect/emr_na-c03612798-1.PDF

It does not reference the code 2234 but there the troubleshooting steps for the code 2233.

See Chapter 11, page 300.

One of the measures is to update the BIOS to its latest review but also to upgrade to the latest version of firmware Intel Management Engine.

I have to say that if these steps does not resolve the problem then the system board needs to be replaced.

If the PC is under warranty, contact HP technical support for assistance, that this is a forum of consumer to consumer.

    I have a Satellite L650, which is 2 months old.

    The motherboard makes a ticking noise (I think it's what makes noise), and when this noise occurs it causes very slow computer! It has been thus since I got it pretty well.

    Today, the computer makes noise, my itunes music started to jump (it was the only program running) and the computer froze and was told that he could not find windows. When I restart my computer it runs the windows startup repair 7, found nothing wrong, and restarts the computer. When the computer restarts, the screen stays black for a long time... and then it flashes a blue screen (flash is so quick that I have no idea of what he says) and asks if I want to rerun the repair. I choose not to start windows normally... and the screen goes black for a long time, however there is no ticking noise, but it seems that nothing happens.

    If I force a reboot, I get an error message saying along the lines of;

    > Today, the computer makes noise, my itunes music started to jump (it was the only program running) and the computer froze and was told that he could not find windows.

    Sounds like the HARD drive failure.
    That would explain the PXE Boot error as well.
    This error occurs if the laptop tries to boot from LAN because other sources bootable couldn t be found.

    In my opinion, you need to replace the HARD drive.
    If the warranty is valid, get in touch with a local ASP from Toshiba and ask the new HARD drive

  • The attention! Error initializing PCI express slot 4 (for a PCIe used in the PXI-1033 chassis)

    Hello

    I have problems with my PXI system. When I try to contact the 1033 chassis using his high card my computer does not recognize (the PC displays the message during the start-up stage: "alert!) Error Initializing PCI express Slot 4). It was working fine before, but the chassis has been disconected with the PC on. I read that it may cause failures of communication, but I have not found a good source for this problem. Could someone help me with this problem?

    Thank you very much!

    Victor

    Hi Victor,

    Can you check something for me? One, can you try to disconnect the cable between the PXI and PCIe cards and try to restart your machine. When you do this, you still see the message? I know that you mentioned in your first point that the chassis is turned on when you see the error message, so I'm just trying to clarify what you mean by that.

    Also, it is quite easy to plug in a cable express MXI upside down, so even if point 2 you said that the links appear to be good I had to check to make sure that the cable is properly connected. You have additional cables, you can test?

  • Error initializing the application. It seems that corrupt ntdll.dll error

    I installed Autocad 2010 64 bit on my new Dell Vista Home premium 64-bit OS. Worked like a charm. I installed a piece of trial software that I ended up uninstalling a day later (also of Autodesk). I can no longer launch Autocad... error initializing and it points to the ntdll.dll error. I have uninstalled and installed the software several times with information about the Autodesk site and the result is the same. The application installs perfectly, but will not start due to the error of initialization of the.
    Now, I installed another package of drafting and the result is the same... and the error is the same, even if it is not the same software.
    I ran SFC/scannow and the journal reports there is little files that can not be repaired.
    I run the DVD of Vista and tried a repair, although I can't find a ntdll.ll replacement and I don't seem to be able to change it if I could.
    Is a complete operating system, the only solution? If so, it will repair this problem or will I still have this problem if I reinstall the OS? Help, please!

    I ran system restore, but now only available restore point is "newer" than when the problem occurred. I contacted Autodesk and they feel that I'm able to use a distribution Linux on CD to allow me to replace the damaged file ntdll.dll. Otherwise, they unfortunately believe that I might have to reinstall everything.
    I was expecting... (I know) that this could be avoided.

    Is there a relatively easy way to replace a ntdll.dll file without going through a Linux distribution?

    Hello

    Vss control volume, which is used my MS Volume Shadow service to access the clichés of material, there's a GUY configured username. However, the initiator does not send a name of user and password c...

    If you use the EQL TYPING kit, then you should allow these servers access to this volume.  Or change the ACL on this volume to allow that the servers that need to access.

    Alternatively, you can remove it from the Favorites tab, so that he tries to log in the next time the server starts.

    Finally, you can enable the discovery of prevnet filter this of is re - produce.

    Here is a KB from the Equallogic Web site.

    Solution title error: "initiator wanted to ignore the security phase but we can not." or "initiator has tried to circumvent the security phase but we cannot."

    Symptom of solution of details: event on the web interface of PS log table shows a connection error for a volume that says: "initiator wanted to ignore the security phase but we cannot." This error can be repeated continuously every few seconds.

    Question: by default, volumes that have enabled CHAP authentication will be shown during the process of iSCSI discovery even if the initiator does not have the authentication information c. Discovery is controlled by its address IP ACL, so if a machine matches the IP address of the ACL scope, we will see the volume. Note that multiple initiators such as those that are unix based as the initiator of the Cisco software that uses VMWare will continue to attempt to connect to the target (often, every two seconds), even if each connection attempt fails. This can fill the paper and the performance of the server can have an impact.

    Solution: Limit the discovery of volumes CHAP authenticated by IP address and ensure that only servers with appropriate credentials CHAP can observe the volume at all.

    The most common volume to see this error on is the special volume named "vss control." This volume is for communication with Microsoft's VSS service, using EqualLogic host integration tools. If it is configured for unlimited access, or is configured for the CHAP only, then each initiator on the SAN will be able to find out and may attempt to use it. Set ACL "vss-admin" to enter an IP address for each machine that needs to access, to ensure that no one else does.

    For firmware version 2.2.3 and, before going to the volume named 'vss-control', select the Access tab and change the entries here in a proper way.

    For the later version 2.3.2 (including all versions 3.X) firmware, go to the Configuration Group box and select the VSS/VDS. It's the ACL for the vss-control volume, which you should change as appropriate.

    It may be necessary to restart servers that try to access this volume after changing the ACLs, however. Some initiators do not release a target once they have discovered, even though the table indicates that the target does not exist. An example of this are ESX servers, using the software initiator.

    A second scenario may be a volume that is configured to be seen from in a VMWare server VM Windows using CHAP credentials and also install on the table to use a single connection Cap. Even if the credentials CHAP is setup correctly on each side if the ESX Server uses the software initiator that ESX will attempt to connect to the volume permanently every minutes or seconds depending on factors both. With configuration to several volumes in this way, it can be a drain on performance on ESX.

    To troubleshoot this scenario make sure to activate the iSCSI discovery of the IUG table of PS filter. This is done from the Group/iSCSI Configuration tab. check the box off and save the configuration using the Green disk icon in the upper right of the graphical interface. This makes the servers with the initiators that are correctly setup to see a volume with CHAP will see and try to connect to these volumes. Note: once an ESX Server has seen a volume to continue to try to connect with the software initiator until the ESX Server is restarted after this option is turned on.

    Note that, since the version of the firmware 3.0.5 and later, you can require authentication for CHAP-enabled volumes during discovery, by issuing the command in the CLI:

    GroupName > enable discovery-use-chap grpparams

  • Error initializing DirectX

    Hi, I am trying to install a game called utopia Realms on my computer (Windows 7 service pack 1). However, an error message appears saying:

    Error initializing DirectX, failed to start the game: your graphics card does not support the minimum element of DirectX 10: Level_9_3

    I checked through dxdiag and I have the version of directX 11, so I'm confused on what to do to solve this problem. Help, please.

    DirectX is an API (application programming interface) for Windows and Windows 7 has

    three versions - DirectX 11 and DirectX 9 and 10, but your graphics card must support

    DirectX 10 for the game in question.

    -If you use an older graphics card, it can only support DirectX 9.

    You can do a search for the number of brand and model of your graphics card and find that

    versions of DirectX, it supports.

    -Support Nvidia DX 10 began with the Geforce 8 series - also known as the name of the 8000 series

    (8800GT, 8650GS, etc.).

    -AMD/ATI DX10 support started with HD 2000 and 3000 series

    (2600 HD, HD 3650, etc.).

    If you use a graphics card that supports DirectX 10 or 11, it may be useful to update DirectX

    Download DirectX end-user Runtime Web Installer from the official Microsoft Download Center

    Note that the realms of Utopia is a BETA version and will be likely the bugs/flaws until it is final

    What should I do now?

    I found a solution that works for me.

    Just delete the file jvm.ini under the location of the temporary folder. In windows, it would be under path.

    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Adobe\FLASH_VERSION\en_US\Configuration\ActionScript 3.0

    For example. C:\Users\admin\AppData\Local\Adobe\Flash CS6\en_US\Configuration\ActionScript 3.0

    As soon as you start the Flash, a defult jvm.ini will be created automatically, in this place and your flash works fine.

    Acutally the error comes because of the jvm.ini of corroupt file (cause too great values > 256 error displayed.) For example. Xmx1024m) that is created in setting up temporary forlders automatically during the Installation of Flash.

    Whenever Flash begins his search the file jvm.ini and let the maximum memory of initalized at FMV.

  • No function matching ERROR initializing SqlDataAccess

    SqlDataAccess sda;//
    sda= new SqlDataAccess(homeDir.absoluteFilePath("testDatabase.db"));

    Hi, I have an error with this code. It is said:

    no match for the call function to
    ' bb::data :qlDataAccess:qlDataAccess()'

    Any ideas please? Thank you

    SqlDataAccess doesn't have a default constructor. If you provide a file name on the creation.

    If you declare in the file .h like this:

    SqlDataAccess sda;

    Then in constructor initialize in initializiers list:

    YourClass::YourClass (...)

    : someOtherVariable (someValue)

    sda (filename)

    etc...

    {

    }

    Important: the above list variables are initialized in the order of their declaration in the .h file! Preserve this order or compiler will give a warning.

    If you tried to do and it did not work, probably due to the variable homeDir not appeared yet. If homeDir points to the data folder, then the following should work:

    , sda (QDir::homePath() + "/ testDatabase.db")

    If you publish a .h and .cpp files, I can try to give a more specific suggestion.

    Another option is to declare a pointer to .h file:

    SqlDataAccess * sda;

    Pointer initially contains garbage, so initialize null in the constructor for easier debugging:

    YourClass::YourClass (...)

    : sda (NULL)

    {

    ...

    }

    Then create SqlDataAccess instance and assign the address to a pointer. This can be done in consructor or in the other method, just make sure it is done once:

    SDA = SqlDataAccess (new homeDir.absoluteFilePath("testDatabase.db"), this);

    You can then use sda as usual, but instead of sda.someMethod () the syntax become sda--> someMethod().

    Make sure you're not referring sda before initialization takes place.

    In the second argument to the constructor, we will set the parent of the sda to 'this', then it will be destroyed automatically when it is class parent ('this') is destroyed. If the parent is not set, the object should be removed manually using operator 'delete '. Is not needed when not using pointers (in the first example).

    Hello

    has obtained a C470 with a strange boot problem.

    whenever the machine is running, you receive the following error message:

    Sometimes Windows 7 starts just, sometimes it starts after a few repetitions. This is a random behavior, and it does not change a thing if it's a cold start or just reboot.

    So that's what I've tried so far:

    1. update of the bios

    2. adjustment of the installation by default, configured and tried different startup parameters

    3. re-installed the bootloader

    4. has conducted an audit of health SSD, everything is OK

    5. replace SSD by one of a different brand

    After the first step, I was able to start for over 20 times without any problem. After that, the problem came back :-o

    The system worked for more than a year without any problems. There is also another machine with exactly the same configuration that always works.

    All the other things I could try?

    Thanks for any help

    I solved the problem by replacing the properitary S - ATA standard S - ATA cable cable. I had to weld another connector of power for the existing S - ATA power cable.
