As for making primary and turning, wondering if there is anything that I could do otherwise than to resort to having to play with the settings of the monitor in the query, and I don't have to make primary of all... just back to the landscape and backward Media Center elementary school.   As Mike Hall suggested, first look for the keyboard utility and seek to change the keyboard assignment there.

  If this option is not available, you can try to change the default program to open files of music. I do not think that "hotkey" keyboard music trying to specifically open Windows Media Play, rather it opens the program assigned as the default value for the music.
