Hello
Someone get this similar error on OS s book and according to the information the Microsoft hotfix helps to sort.
Found this useful knowledge base article:
http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;835221This document reviews for install the fix KB835221 but that is no longer officially available in dialogue with Microsoft technical support!
But don t worry buddy. The Google search is the key!
Try to search for this KB835221 hotfix and I m sure that you find the right one!The UAA drivers needed in Microsoft documents are not included with XP SP2 or SP1, so it is a QFE handy to have around if you want to use more recent sound as the Realtek HD Audio cards.
PS: If the Q835221 did not help then you can also try the driver updated to Microsoft Q888111 article, which has 4 versions depending on your operating system and installed service pack.
Good luck!

Original title: his record game
Recently, I built a new computer and its been connected via HDMI. Then one day that sounds simply stopped working, so I've updated my drivers that are digitally signed and still no idea. It is said that I unplugged the audio jack, and it evokes the strange Realtek HD audio Manager every time.
The operating system is Windows 7 64 bit home edition. Does anyone know what I need to do to correct this little hiccup?
Thanks for the help,

Failed to install driver Realtek HD Audio in Windows 7 and Vista [Ultimate]
I didn't install the Realtek HD Audio driver in windows 7 and Vista. When I install it it displays a message "error code:-0001. When I install after installing graphics driver card it says "Error code: 0 x 000000103 ' a few days it worked fine without any errors. But since yesterday, I am facing the problem. I tried to install it on safe mode and uninstalled the driver of HD by default. Then it installs perfectly but I can't hear any sound and when I start my PC the default driver installs automatically. Help, please! What can I do? This problem does not persist in windows xp.
Hi JohngLittle,
Method 1
What is the brand and model of the computer?
What is the status of driver for sound card and graphics card driver in Device Manager and the steps to display sound and graphics driver in Device Manager include the following:
1. click on Start
2. in the search box, type run
3. in the run window, type devmgmt.msc
4. in the search for a Device Manager window for sound and display
Check if there is no exclamation point on them or not.
Method 2
If you find the exclamation point on these options try to update the drivers and is the link, you can refer:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Update-driver-hardware-ISN
NOTE: try to go to the website of the manufacturer of the computer and try to install the compatible sound card driver and graphic drivers and check with the question...
Please let us know if the problem persists. We will be happy to help you further.
Thank you and best regards.

Envy 17-n108tx: Realtek HD Audio driver problems
17-n108tx want my laptop is preinstalled with Windows 10 and have jumped several hoops for upgrading to Windows 7, I found myself with a minor problem...
When I first start up in Windows 7, I have no sound, and the light on the button mute on my keyboard no longer works.
When I try to 'test' output in the sound properties my device, I get the error "the device is used by another application. (edit: disabling the option "allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" does nothing to remedy).
If I disable and re-enable the "Realtek High Definition" Audio device then I suddenly audio again, but the light on the button mute remains broken.
If I choose instead to reinstall the audio driver (sp72117.exe), and then the two audio AND the mute button light work as expected - at least until the next reboot.
I have currently only SP1 is installed from Windows Update. I can go ahead and install all the other minor updates to see if any of them address this problem. During this time, but I would like to know if someone else might have a solution to this inconvenience. Having to reinstall the driver again and again is hardly a solution.
Thank you
Finished installing any other Windows 7 update that helped my audio to work even after a restart, but the light on the button mute was still broken.
For anyone else who has a similar problem, this is how I fix (unless it breaks again in the next 24 hours):
1. install SP1 and other updates. If it was not more than 140 of them, I could have tried to determine the exact KB.
2 uninstall the Realtek HD Audio device via Device Manager - do not forget to remove the pilot with him.
3. Select Action-> Scan for hardware changes, Windows will install a generic audio driver.
4. make a generic audio driver right click and select "Update driver software", then "Browse my computer for driver software".
5 find your "C:\SWsetup" folder and click Next. Windows should automatically install the appropriate driver files that sp72117.exe left to count.
I suspect that installing the driver manually, as opposed to allowing sp72117.exe to install it because the case. But I do not know for sure until I have reformat again in the distant future. Who knows, maybe I'll give 10 Windows another shot at that time.

Realtek HD Audio driver disappears after installing an ATI Radeon graphics card
My Realtek HD Audio driver disappears (the Vista "Sound Manager" and "Device Manager") and is replaced with an ATI HD Audio driver after you install an ATI Radeon 5450 graphics card. I tried to uninstall the ATI Audio driver and re - install the Realtek Audio driver. But, after reboot, Vista automatically re - installs the ATI Audio driver (and the Realtek Audio driver, which I have just reinstalled, is not where after the reboot). I use a HP a6110n desktop running Windows Vista.
This works! I would never have suspected that the problem was a BIOS setting. Thanks for the good advice!

BROWSER DOES NOT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET AFTER DOWNLOADING THE REALTEK HD AUDIO DRIVER
PC: Hewlett-Packard Pavilion Slimline model: s3307C
Operating system: 32-bit Vista Edition Home Premium
I wanted to update my sound driver and downloaded the Realtek HD Audio 32 bits for Vista2013 that I saw that I already had the 2009 version. the one I downloaded is the version of the file R-271 2.11.15.0
Can no longer use my browsers, they keep loading and after a certain number minutes, (20) and then I get a message saying that Web pages are not displayed and the option to wait or kill the pages, it's on the Chrome browser. Internet Explorer behaves in a similar way. My computer says I am connected to the internet.
I called my internet provider and they had me reset the modem to factory reset, no results.
They asked me to ping google.com, computer failed.
I tried two restores system without result, he will not restore
I tried to uninstall this 'thing', and the computer re-installed.
Running out of options here, can someone please help me? or if my computer is ruined?
Thank God I have a second, a laptop computer to ask for help on.
Welcome to the forum.
I don't see why the browsers do not work due to a change to the Audio. I can imagine that the Audio does not, but I do not see the link between an update to the Audio and network failure.
I do not recognize the patch / update installed.
- Do you have the new driver Audio HP's? If Yes: so, what's the name of the sp package *?
The following come to mind...
======================================================================================
System restore
- "Back in time" to a point where everything worked.
Using Microsoft System Restore - Vista
NOTE:
- Restaurant sometimes works best if you first remove the system in Safe Mode.
- If restore works, but the system will not back-track, there may be something weird going or system has not created a Point of restoration for the necessary period of time.
======================================================================================
Recovery Manager - Vista
- Restore and reinstall the original comes from driver tjhat on operating system
HP and Compaq Desktop PCs - performing a software Application or recovery Driver (Windows Vista)
======================================================================================
Install the driver from the website of your computer
The Audio driver for your Vista system is presented as an 'Update' instead of a 'pilot', or 'original '. You might be able to use it as a stand-alone facility - which means that the wording of the document is misleading - or the packaging may actually be dependent on the original driver that is not available on the website for Vista 32 bit OS.
HP Pavilion Slimline s3307c Desktop PC drivers & downloads - Audio
NOTES
- To REMOVE the driver in Device Manager, you must uninstall, AND check the box to remove the driver. -Restart the system to complete the uninstallation.
- This opens the system up to the old driver installation / original / correct, but this means that you must have something available to replace the removed driver.
- If you use the Recovery Manager, you may not be everything first remove the existing driver - you can try just saying the system to restore the original and see if it works. Restart the computer after installation.
=====================================================================================
The driver can be very well and it's the cache driver and instructions in memory which is trashed. Power reset drain all the old instructions and forces the system to go on the drive to read the drivers and software on the computer.
Resetting the forced feeding
Execution of a coercive power reset or forced Reset
Power reset cannot tell the difference between drivers - it does not analyze a driver before applying. It assumes that all the drivers on your computer belong there.
EXAMPLE:
- If the driver on the disk is the wrong driver before rebooting, it's always the wrong driver after the reset.
- If the INSTRUCTIONS of the driver are tangled, messed up, or there are missing pieces of these instructions, the reset can solve the problem.
Why a power reset works to solve some problems:
The power reset does not install anything on your computer, it does not remove the programs on your computer and Reset does not change the settings on your computer. Your data and programs remain as they were before the reset has been applied. Reset runs old program of the memory instructions and forces the computer go to disk operating system for new instructions.
Why a power reset does not work:
If the problem is more than a simple tangle, if 'good job' on the computer is not good enough - in other words, you need an update, a new driver, or there is a problem that can not be "unraveled", then reset won't work.
If there is a hardware problem power reset will not work.

Realtek HD audio works is not in Windows 7.
Original title: Realtek HD audio problem
Today, I have a very strange problem with my computer audio.
I came home for lunch today and I had a pretty fun time playing video games for an hour. My sound worked well, it not there no glitches or anything.
I came home after work and there is no sound from my computer. Speakers do not work, headphones do not work microphone no longer works.
I am running (don't know what it takes, so I'll just post all):
-Windows 7 OS 64 bit
-ASRock Intel Mobo with Realtek HD audio
-Intel Core i5
-Geforce gtx 560 ti
-500 watt Rosewill PSU
-8 GB Gskill RamThat's what I've done so far:
1. went to "Eat Audio Devices" and levels enabled, disabled sound effects, made sure everything was recognized
2. uninstalled/reinstalled drivers
3. system restore 3 days ago (November 13, 2011)
4 went in Device Manager and uninstalled the drivers real and material then reinstalled everything from scratch
5. I tried different speakers
6. I tried different helmet
7. I tried troubleshooting from MicrosoftThe most frustrating thing is that my computer recognizes that there is an audio device, it installs, downloads of drivers and said that the system works very well. When I look at the audio output, it is said that there are sound playback, but it goes not to the speakers, when I plug the speakers and unplug it, the audio Realtek HD program says that things are currently connected to or deleted.
The other piece of info which I think can be important it is that the audio program Realtek HD said that there is a microphone and a headset plugged into the front outlet when it is has nothing plugged in.
I had no problems with this before and it was very spontaneous. I would appreciate any help on this matter.
Thank you all... I ended up buying a new sound card and the problem is solved...

I had problems with IE11 and Outlook, both kept gel (not answer) more and more each day. Outlook is still difficult sign in, I have to sign at least two times and once I got to sign on 7 times. The drafting of emails, I'd get msg "cannot connect to Outlook - try again later. IE11 is also unstable permanently "unresponsive" my sound stopped working also and I found that he lacked Realtek HD Audio Manager. It took nearly a week trying to figure out how to reinstall. (I am 60 years old and not informed techno) Finally, I downloaded and installed (with no help from HP) but speakers still does not. I approached then Microsoft Help Desk who suggested that reset IE11. I did it yesterday and now all seems ok with IE11 and Outlook but I have still no sound. Where to find the default settings for programs that use audio ie itunes, youtube, etc?
I have only a couple of theories left to isolate the problem, but have no idea how to go on this issue.
1. I received a msg when I lit the notebook from HP saying storage battery was low and the battery can be replaced. I've never used this notebook on sector so I ignored msg but with freezes and random low cut that I removed the battery which seems to solve that problem, but I wonder if firm random downs could have damaged files, software or anything.
2. Windows updates put things here that seem to be more for Windows 8 for example. Touch screen program. Can we update caused problems for the sound on my laptop?
I have run virus/malware programs with no threat found. I also installed Glary to find and fix registry problems, but still no sound.
Can someone help me please?

No sound after XP Media Ed upgrade to Pro 7 - Board Asus P5N - E SLI and Realtek onboard audio
Christmas Eve, I've upgraded to Windows 7. In the beginning was sound in my small Bose speakers, but attenuated. Installed Win7/Vista Realtek HD Audio drivers and the sound is not improved. With uninstall and reinstall, all sounds have disappeared. Restore to previous state does not restore the sounds. Audio devices are clearly recognized. Sound Devices show in computer management.
Several respondents on various forums that I need to disable the detection of Realtek of the sockets on the front panel, which interferes with the flow. However, the latest drivers do not have the icon for selecting the option to disable detection of the jacks of the Panel before (I wrote Realtek on this subject but have yet to receive an answer).
Anyone has a suggestion for how I could disable front panel jack detection in Windows or in the registry? Are there other ways to solve this? I tried a number of different solutions were proposed, which none worked. My last stations are to repair the installation of Windows (will that work?); install older versions of the Realtek drivers until one works or has the icon to turn off the front plug detection; or get the USB speakers or sound card. replace the motherboard.
You know how frustrating these technical things are, but mine is all set up for the reception of Directv2PC and HD TV, so I'd like to get this working.
Well guys, I solved it. He forgot methodology. I have a device that allows me to connect the speakers and a headset through on the Panel back.
When the sound disappeared initially, the problem was apparently the Bios to the "façade" as AC 97. When this parameter was in force, I plugged the speakers directly on the rear panel and had no sound. So I guess my separator device wasn't the problem. Later, I determined that the Bios should be modified to be made all the panels 'high definition '. While I get sound through the speakers, the sound didn't come through the rear panel, but my dispatcher he was not through. I did not realize the mistake until a few minutes ago.
The technology requires just sort of patience and methodicalness. It took 8 days for me to understand this, simply because of the trial does not after Bios change.
