Error jam paper on HP PSC 1350v

I had a paper jam. Authorized by the front of the printer. I took on the back without any paper in the printer. I cleaned the rollers. I watched the videos and disconnected and reconnected and quite. The flashing "E" for error on the printer has disappeared, but when I try to print it does not print the printer says "paper jam" online icon   Help!

Hi, welcome to the forums!

I'm sorry to hear that you had a jam, authorized and clean the rollers and the printer still won't print. My best suggestions you are watching inside the printer when the carriage moves and look for any paper, sometimes you have to push up against the left or right side inside the printer.

Also, try to reset the printer: Plug the printer directly into the wall, avoiding bars and surge arresters. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help in this situation.

If troubleshooting doesn't help not solve your problem, then I would say call the HP Technical Support to see all the other possibilities for you. If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions: click here.

Best wishes

    All,

    I got my printer working.

I had searched carefully for paper stuck somewhere and couldn't find.  I did a cleanup to include possibly with "Air-in-a-Can", does not.

Another poster mentioned that her husband had taken their printer to the garage and blown it, persumably with a compressor.

I do not have a compressor, but I used my shop-vac instead.  I reversed the hose and crevice to condense the air flow.  Blown and brushed on my printer.  It seems to work now.  It must have been some dust or tiny particles a sensor to wingshooting.

  • Photosmart 2575 keeps showing error jam paper jam/transport

I tried all the steps in the field of solutions - there is no paper and I cleaned the rollers.  I noticed that the transport maintains block on the right.  It seems a little latch is constantly moving forward.  When I unplug the printer, I can't move the carriage of the printer at all.  Any suggestions?

    Hello

I'm trying to remember about 5-6 years ago when these 1 printers out.  I just jumped in our lab and found an old. If the transport maintains block on the right, then there may be a problem with the gear & what can be identified as a lock can be part of a clutch mechanism that switches gears to move the paper to move the station to service the printer.

The normal position of the carriage house when the printer is idle is on the left hand side so I think that interference on the right could follow the trolley blocking against the clutch mechanism. Course on the information that you have given it probably should be considered in a repair center.

I could be wrong, but I'm guessing that your printer is no longer under warranty.  Please try this link to choose the option that suits you best.

  • My printer HP Photosmart C310 provided false error message "paper jam".

Line contacted HP support comrade with the focus East India, after asking the age of my printer, has reported that the pilots had "expired", saying they were only good for 1-2 years and offered to fix the problem for $37.  Access my computer, interaction has been put in place between me and yet another person and we have communicated on a tablet of sorts, all in a display cursor through the computer. After several minutes, the problem was pronounced fixed, even if initially, remained the same.  After a video and following the steps of repair (which I had already done several times) jam of the supposed paper - or the message saying that there is a--went, and the printer became indeed useful.

Then the first fellow reminded me that I owed him $37 and proposed to replace my security system with installation of Microsoft anti-virus Norton, a PC cleaner to remove unnecessary files and errors and unlimited technical support for 1 year - for $100 + life - I declined.

Was - this legitimate? A process of aid approved by HP?

I was thinking the problem was somehow inserted into my printer by these people and not inclined to pay.

My suspicion is strengthened by having at the same time received an email from a credit card company, saying that my account has been suspended after too many login attempts had been made.  I had none, and a call that revealed to them that the account had not been suspended.

Operating system of Windows Vista 64 - bit, error message "Paper jam", no change before the error occurred.

Unfortunately you did not deal with HP support.  If you do a search for "HP Support", you'll see paid ads that "resemble" HP support but are actually not of HP.  HP support sites will hp.com in the url.  What I heard some of these HP people today it is not uncommon for them to call you back the next day if they manage to sell you something the first time.

  • HP cp1518ni: print a page then error message - paper jam

    Hello

    Hoping someone can help please:

I tried to print a 10 page document and my HP Laserjet Cp1518Ni prints one page at a time, each time with a message "paper jam tray 2, clear Jam then press OK". I have remove the tray and there is sometimes a piece of paper that has begun to pick up and sometimes not at all jammed paper. Once the tray is replaced then initializes it before printing a page more.

Is there something I can do to remedy to this please?

    Thank you, Shaz.

Problem on this model.  The drive tray 2 roller is probably worn out and must be replaced. Just do a search on google for the maintenance manual as instructions are in the manual. Rollers can be purchased online:

  • HP 8600 over Error Message: paper detected does not match format of paper or type selected.

    HP Officejet Pro 8600 more

Windows XP Pro, Windows 7 Pro

Error message: paper detected does not match format of paper or type selected

This error message appears on the printer display panel any time a custom paper size has been set up in Word (or any other application) and the format of paper & type was inserted in the Officejet Pro 8600 paper tray.  This error is generated by the printer regardless the orietation or margins or paper size settings in the document to match the paper size in the paper tray.  When you press 'OK' on the printer display panel, the printer ejects paper correctly.  Because this printer lacks a manual bypass tray, the custom paper is always inserted in the Tray1 and is the only book in this tray 1.  It's a simple tray 8600 more.

    What I am doing wrong?

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, you cannot print on a paper size "undefined" with printers. While the functionality is available in word, our printers do not recognize that the sizes of the main paper (these changes according to the country sometimes).

The reason for this is because undefined paper sizes open the printer and the print job to a certain number of risks, including jams paper or misaligned printing. This is why the function is no more on HP printers.

I recommend to find a type of traditional paper which is close to the size you want to print on and select in the layout of the print job as a workaround for this problem.

    I hope this helps!

  • HP envy 4520: extension of the HP Envy 4520 jammed paper tray

Extension of the tray jammed paper closed on envy hp 4520, can not print, help!

    Hi @chics,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your printer problem.

I understand that you use a printer all-in-One HP ENVY 4520 with a 10 Windows PC and the printer paper tray Extender is stuck in the closed position. I would like to help with that.

First perform a reset of the power on the printer.

Then try to make a copy using the control panel of the printer to see if the tray Extender will extend.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

I can not print envelope #10: gives an error "on paper" OS10.11.4 running

Using a document separate from the Pages to the envelope size, tried several envelopes loading.

    Hi @RonD3,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your printing problem.

I understand that you use a color printer HP LaserJet Pro CP1025nw with a Mac OS X 10.11.4 El Capitan computer and you can not print on envelopes #10 because you get an "Out of Paper" error message I would like to help with that.

You want to make sure that you're using the envelopes recommended for laser printers only and that the envelopes are loaded correctly. The printer may not recognize the media which are not intended to be used with it. Here is a support document covering guidelines for loading and printing on envelopes - loading paper and envelopes for the HP LaserJet Pro CP1025nw color printer.

Here is the document of support for seeing the message "Out of Paper" when there is paper or envelopes in tray - "on paper" Error Message is displayed and the printer is not Pick Up or paper source.

Then I would like to reinstall the driver of HP with Apple Software Update. Here is a support document which can serve as a reference if necessary - install a printer Mac driver by using Apple Software Update.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

Indeed, if this help you to achieve a solution please click the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.

    Hello NColyar,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that you receive a message indicating "on paper" using the Officejet 4500. I will do my best to help you! Please make sure that the printer is connected to a live wall, not a surge protector. I just want to check if that makes a difference.

  • Jam paper error message hp psc 1210

I got a paper jam on my printer hp psc 1210, but, unfortunately, the printer will not be shared the error state and will not be printed.  When I run the troubleshooter, it indicates that this is no problem.  I turned the power on, I unplugged then replugged the printer, but nothing works.

Thanks, Shane!  I had seen this article and tried several of his suggestions to solve my problem without success.  So when I started my laptop and the printer running this morning, he is animated and printed the document that should have been 'stuck' in the queue.  It would seem that I have a "gremlin" printer that will taunt me regularly until I have give up and replace this printer 8 years!  I appreciate your quick response!

Thanks for your help.  I contacted global printers that HP laser printers service and had a chance to talk with someone who is used to working on HP home printers.  He suggested that I be follow paper supply channel and look for any kind of sensor that would leave the printer to know that the book has arrived at the location suitable for printing, or go and buy a new printer.  After about 10 minutes of searching, I found a small piece of plastic broken off the coast up close to the rolls of paper.  Nearby was a spring lever that controlled a gear.  The upper part of the lever was broken.  Both put in correspondence with the breaking point.  When the lever was a thing, if it was another.  I finally found a way to get the two pieces together and then taken apart, added instant glue and put back them together again.  It worked once then broke off the coast again because it was not sitting correctly together.  I have two choices: try with a different type of glue, or go and buy a new printer.   Thank you again for
    your help.

My guess is that you don't succeed him if you do that again, fixing or
that even if you do not succeed, it will not last very long.

On the other hand, there is no downside to try again before giving
to the top and buy a new printer. It's worth a try.

  • Photosmart C4580 all-in-One report of a paper jam. My C4580 keeps showing an error report "paper jam".

My C4580 continues to show a 'Paper jam' error report after starting upwards.  The cartridge carriage moves to the left.  The trolley is entirely free to move and there is no resistance when moved to the far left and far right.  I have followed closely all the help online that I can find on the website of HP, and nothing has solved this problem.

    Can anyone offer a solution?

    Thank you in advance.

A true and false paper jam troubleshooting - will be performed in the same way.  Therefore, an area that is difficult to see and easy to Miss completely on the right inside the printer.  Make sure that it is not a small amount of paper caught on the right side of the print head.

Also, check the steps in the document is located here.
