Error loading dll

I have a window that keeps popping up with the title of error in loading dll. It says "could not load Res_dll.  I'm lost as to the meaning, problem and how fix/remove. Mea culpa because I downloaded some windows updates that looked appropriate. I tried looking for Control Panel, programs and without success so I run the system restore and the window persists. Thus, in addition to having learned my lesson, how can I get rid of the window. It does not seem to affect anything either. In fact, thisdesktop d4650e HP Pavilion is a secondary unit with none of the devices. Any ideas?

Thank you

Paul:

Thank you very much. The repair worked. The window has disappeared, and the operation is just the way it should have been. I work around the new hardware wizard found and just used the linksys installation disk and it worked very well. Thanks to solve.

whenever I boot, I get the following line to the 'Script error' 30, tank: 3, error: error loading DLL, Code: 0, URL: file...

Question - what should I do to solve this problem.

Secondly - I installed a new program that came with a new camera.  I have loaded the software but when I try to open it states the following:
"The program cannot start because MSVCP71.dll absent from your computer."  Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem.

I reloaded the program several times and this message continues to invent whenever I try to run the software.

I believe that these two issues are related.

    I would appreciate help.

    Thank you

    Charlie

    Hi Charlie,

one) you get error script on Internet explorer?

    (b) what is the brand and model of the camera?

    (c) what is the name of the camera program?

    (d) were there any changes on the computer before the show?

Follow these methods and check if that helps:

Method 1: You can get the script error if there is a problem with the JavaScript or VBScript code on the Web site you are looking at. Sometimes a script error can be caused by an error during the download of a Web page, but more often it is an error in the Web page itself.

I suggest you to follow the steps in troubleshooting this article and check if it helps:

How to troubleshoot script errors in Internet Explorer

Also refer to this article: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows7/what-should-you-do-about-internet-explorer-script-errors

Method 2: Msvcp71.dll is a Microsoft C, C ++ Runtime library, and it is necessary for the performance of several Microsoft and non-Microsoft applications on a Windows System. It is quite possible that there is something wrong with the installation of the camera program files.

Step 1: The MSVCR71.dll Version comes from Microsoft Visual C++ .NET 2003 with Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326922

Try download and install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 redistributable package of this link and check.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=5555

Step 2: If the error disappear not even once you have reinstalled the application causing the error, then download the DLL from the Internet or copy it from another computer with the same configuration as yours in the directory of the program, which requires that the file.

Note: you can also copy the file to the C:\Windows\System32\

After you have copied the file try to open the device program and check.

    Hi Jahnd,

There are several scenarios where we get this error.

When exactly do you get the error?

Put the computer in a clean boot state, then check to see if you encounter the error.
Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

  • Error loading DLL Vista

    Hello

I'm deploying a TestStand system developed on XP to a target system using Vista.  Part of the package uses LabVIEW screws that call functions in a dll created in Visual Studio 2005.  Everything works on the development system and a system of deployment under XP.  When I run on the Vista machine, the VI will not load in TestStand.  If I try to load the VI in the LabVIEW on the Vista system, I see the error in the attached JPG.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Mike

It can be associated .NET, but I guess that the code was done in Visual C++? You try to deploy a debug version of the Assembly? If so, the debugging DLLs will not be on the Vista machine. You must deploy the version of the DLL.  Alternatively, you can try to install the Visual C++ (downloadable from Microsoft) runtime on the Vista machine.

  • displ1.dll error loading of worksheet

Just before a work critical time that we started getting an error loading Dasylab 10.0.3 spreadsheets.  It was one of those things "windows has encountered an error and needs to close."  Looking at the details it is said that the problem was with displ1.dll.

He is our saved records unusable because they could no longer be loaded into Dasylab without the occurrence of the accident.

I finally got around the problem of removal of displ1.dll in the folder \windows\program files\dasylab 10 then run Dasylab.

This allowed me to open our existing worksheets, but with a red cross on modules as required displ1.dll - including the table of yt and the list.  If I deleted these modules, I could at least save and reuse the leaves of calculation (but without our list and graphical views).

My quick workaround solution had to then restore displ1.dll and reload Dasylab.  I could now open my old worksheets - because they had none of the modules requiring a displ1.dll in them.  Before my acquisition of data, I could then manually add the table yt and the list shows and then begin the work.  No problem as long as I did not save the worksheet with a list or table of yt - if I do so then I would get the same error as previously not described.  So with a short time (a few hours) I came with a 75% on solution work that required minimum re - work whenever we wanted to use the spreadsheet.

Has anyone encountered this problem before and why is this happeneing?

In my initial confusion, I uninstalled Dasylab then re-installed as 10.0.1 to see what would happen.  Still received the error of displ1.dll.  Then I applied SP2 to resume installation to 10.0.3 and it still doesn't work.  I note that there is a new version of displ1.dll in SP2.

We used 10 Dasylab for several years with the same hardware DAQ (IOtech Wavebooks) for several years now without any problem - how is this problem appeared seemingly from nowhere?

  • MSG for error in Windows 7: "unable to load DLL 'Gpib - 32.dll': the specified module could not be found."

Hi people, I have a project in VB. NET (VS2010 specifically), which has been updated from an old VB6 project. The old project

use Niglobal.bas and Vbib - 32.bas to communicate with the GPIB plugged into one of our litters.
Now in the 64-bit Win7 with the Niglobal.bas and the Vbib - 32.bas converted to Niglobal.vb and Vbib - 32.vb,.

I get an error when debugging to

    Public void RegisterGPIBGlobals()

in the Vbib - 32.vb, the error msg says:

Unable to load DLL 'Gpib - 32.dll': the specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)

It seems like this Gpib - 32.dll, that I found under SysWOW64 on my Win7 is not designed for a 64-bit application and when I copy this dll file on

C:\Windows\System32, the msg of error becomes:

An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000B)

So I think my question is double: 1. the drafting of my own app in VB. NET can I still use Gpib - 32.dll (including the Niglobal.vb and Vbib - 32.vb)?

2 Will the application I am writing with .NET work in x 64 Windows 7?

The Almighty gurus and Mods please help. Thank you!

Hi Joel, thanks for the answer! I have the 3.0.2 driver.

I was looking around for a while after I posted here and further in the use of NI4882 manual, page 4-4, I found this:

«To bring an application in an environment 64-bit requires the application to migrate the NI4882 API and be recompiled.»

So I'm ditching the gpib - 32.dll (vbib - 32 & niglobal) and currently I am using NI4882.dll and restructuring of my project.

  • Error loading lvdaq.dll

Hello forum of Discussion of LabView.

I am currently using LabView 2009. My Research Director has tried to open the files inherited from Labview 7.1 on the more modern version, without success. After doing a little research, I found that I had to download traditional DAQ in order to get the latest version of LabView to open the older file. First, I downloaded the DAQ for 7.4.1 and installed with setup.exe, after which I tried to open the program. I got the «error loading lvdaq.dll...» Error in initialization failed". I then downloaded 7.4.4, thinking that maybe it would be a better version. Same mistake. I'm now downloading version 7.1 (a previous DAQ inherited), thinking that maybe the version numbers should equal to the origin of the old Legacy DAQ file I have to run it. I hope that it will work (and if that's the case I'll just delete my post), however if it isn't, I'll update my post and I hope to help to know what to do.

Thank you in advance for any help.

  • Error code:-17004, could not load DLL or library

    Hi all

I get the following error message:

Error loading step 'x' sequence 'MainSequence' in the file 'y '.  Unable to load DLL or external library C:\bin\driver.dll

Error code:-17004, unable to load DLL or library.

    ' Source ' THOMAS '.

My main DLL is one written in C in LabWindows.  This DLL calls a second DLL written in Visual C++

    I use TestStand 2010 SP1 as well as LabWindows/CVI 2010.  I have Windows XP Professional SP3.

This same sequence, DLL1 and DLL2 worked together in previous versions of TestStand!  All I did was upgrade from Developer Suite 2011... ???

I have reviewed all the messages about this problem and have so far done the following:

    1. check the two DLL1 and DLL2 reside in the same directory

    2 copied DLL2 in C:\Windows\system32

3 used the Dependency Walker tool to check that there are no other missing DLL

4 uninstalled Explorer 8 and install Explorer 7 because of something I've seen depends on and something that I read while researching this problem.

    5. check the search directories in TestStand

I am out of resources, because I can't determine what the problem and any suggestions would be welcome

You have the correct version of the runtime visual C on this machine? If it is a debug version of the dll you need a debug version of the visual C++ runtime. If you have not visual studio is installed it is unlikely to be installed on your machine.

You can open the dll in visual studio and look in the dll resources to see what version of sxs dll it is linked with the manifesto. You must make sure that it exists on your computer. Depends on generally should show a problem if that's the problem, however.

    Hope this helps,

Ah. Ok. Hey, I have the same machine!

It's quite extraordinary material and you should probably mention that.

There is a bug in the old intel MKL library of known on machines with many cores. Are you really sure it worked before on this same machine with the same version of LabVIEW?

You should probably update LabVIEW to make it work correctly with 32 virtual cores. This is an old discussion.

See also my report here. If you disable hyperthreading in the bios, things should work. Would be - that you had it disabled before?
