Error message: "internet is not found.

I have correctly installed and configured a WRT54G2 wireless router on my main PC under Windows Vista.  I also successfully installed and configured an adapter WUSB54GC on a second older Windows PC / ME with 256 MB of memory.

With the help of Technical Support Linksys, I sync was my router with the adapter.  I get the message: "you are connected to the access point, but the internet cannot be found.  The second PC continues to cycle trying to access the internet, without success.

I would appreciate any suggestion about solving this last step to the internet.  So close, yet so far.  Thanks in advance for any help or ideas...

Try to give static ip addressto pc within the range of the router, if still does not upgrade the firmware of the router.

According to the description, you have problems with the computer not start.

This problem can occur because of a hardware problem.

What Iattemp to start my computer an error message appears on the screen-not found operating system

    Hi zigboogie,

    1. were you able to boot the computer before the show?
    2. don't you make changes before the show?

If you were able to start the computer before the show, then try the Startup Repair tool and check the result. To do this, try the following steps.
Step 1: The repair of the boot with Vista DVD
    a. Insert the Windows DVD.
    b. restart your computer.
    c. let the computer restart (boot) from the DVD.
    d. If you are prompted, press a key to continue.
    e. When you reach the screen install Windows, select your preferences in the language to install, time and currency format and keyboard or input method boxes, and then click Next.
    f. do not click install now. Instead, click on repair your computer. The System Recovery Options dialog box appears.
    g. make sure that the appropriate operating system is selected, and then click Next.
    h. After you click Next, the System Recovery Options menu appears.
    i. click on startup repair. Once the Startup Repair tool is completed, click Finish to restart the computer.
    j. remove the DVD and restart the computer to see if the system boots fine.

Go into the BIOS (Basic input/outputSystem (BIOS) and make the hard drive as first boot device.) See BIOS: Frequently asked questions

Important: Change the BIOS incorrectly will cause serious damage.

    "OS not found"

Hello... My laptop out there today and I'm trying to start it, it says "operating system not found '... I guess I reinstall windows Vista but I can't find any cd/dvd... I dontt think that I was given when I bought my laptop a few years ago... Do you think I can get another copy (free of charge)) L

    Hello

If you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your laptop there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

Also some manufacturers have more available recovery Vista disc.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

    Hello

    ·         What application are you trying to install on the system?

As you install an application that is designed for Windows 98, it can not install on the system properly. I suggest to install the application in compatibility mode and check if you are able to install it on the system or not. Follow the steps mentioned in the articles below.

If this does not work then, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer of the program.
