If you cannot connect to your admin account, no tutorials can help you because they need you to connect to an administrator account to carry out the instructions.
See if the following can get an admin account...
Go to Safe Mode...
Restart your computer > immediately and repeatedly pressing the F8 key until you see a black and white screen. The top/down arrow and select Mode safe mode with networking.
Now, while in safe mode, you perform one of the following?
1 can connect to your account admin without the error message?
If so, do. Then do a system restore. Choose a date when you were free to login to your account admin as your restore point.
http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/
If the system restore does not slove the problem, then use this tutorial
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/947215
2. If you are unable to log in to your account administrator in safe mode, you see another administrator next to your account?
If so, you are lucky. This is the built-in Administrator account.
There is, by default, no password.
It could connect and do the system restore.
If the system restore is not enough, then perform the tutorial even as above:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/947215
If you can't do or of what precedes, I'm afraid you will have to re - install your Vista.

Original title: How can I, as an administrator, turn on automatic updates, whenever I try, I get an error message saying that automatic updates has been disabled by the administrator. I didn't do it, then?
Question stands as is.
Hello
1. have you made any changes to the computer before the show?
2. What antivirus application is installed on the computer?
3. What are the different user accounts on the computer?
This problem occurs if Windows Update has been disabled by one of the following settings:· Group Policy
· System policy· RegistryI suggest you follow these methods and check.
Method 1: Perform the clean boot and try to install the updates.
To do this, follow the steps in this link:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353
NOTE: Once you check the functionality, follow the suggestions under steps to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state.
Method 2: Try to turn on the auto update by following the steps in the link below.

User account fails - temporary profile load when you try to connect
Hello
I need help. Since today, I can not connect to my windows user account, an administrator account. When I start the computer, available user accounts (two) are correctly displayed with pictures profile, but when I try to connect to mine the log in procedure takes almost ten minutes and, eventually, windows cannot load my profile and gives me a temporary profile in place with just the default settings.
How can I get my user account to the service? (Restarting the computer does not help, signing on the temporary account in order to login to my account does not work either.)
Thanks in advance,
Andreas
OS: Windows 7, 32 bit, Home Premium
In principle, 'Yes', as suggested by ITknowledge24, but after a few business mixed upward account names I'm not so confident. If it was my own machine, then I leave the account as it is. Alternatively, you can create a restore point before moving forward so that you have a backup path rewrites.

Steve,
Thanks a lot for the link to this article.
It was most helpful.I also found this forum useful post:
http://www.techsupportforum.com/Networking-Forum/networking-support/114373-cant-map-new-network-drive.htmlIn particular, he said to check the event log of the computer that you are trying to connect to (the remote computer) to search for an event ID 2011, which would be entered in the time you finally tried to connect and does not.
I did alt-click on the icon MY COMPUTER (from the remote computer) and the menu HANDLE, click the EVENT VIEWER folder (in the left pane), and then the SYSTEM folder under that.
On the right pane, I found an ad for the event ID 2011 at the time wherever I finally tried to connect. To test this, I went to the VISTA laptop and tried to connect the computer to Office XP again, which gives a different error message on the VISTA laptop.
When I went back on the XP desktop I tried to connect to and looked again to the event log, of course ANOTHER event ID 2011 has been registered with the new time of my additional attempt to connect. He confirmed that it was likely that the IRPStackSize was the problem, as your proposed article.
Then I printed article how DO TO SAVE AND RESTORE the REGISTER to: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322756/
then backed up the registry (both by running a restore system to register and by exporting from the top level of the regedit).I then went in regedit on the desktop in XP for the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\SERVICES\LANMANSERVER\Parameters file described in your article.
There was NOT an entry for IRPStackSize in the right pane, so I followed the instructions in the add - it and change it to decimal 15.
I rebooted and tried to connect but still got the same error.
The article said that the default value is 15, so I assumed that adding input IRPStackSize to 15 has not changed anything. So I went into regedit and changed the value of IRPStackSize of 15 to 18, restarted and it solved the problem.
I found that the following articles is also useful in the resolution of this problem (aside from the one you gave):

Hi Sandymon,
Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!
Do you get this error only when you try to download only this particular game or something else?
From now on, I would say lets you do a [SFC] System File Checker scan on the computer. He will try to repair the system files missing or infected.
Scan SFC enforcement procedure:
1. click on the Start button
2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories
3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option
4. in the drop-down menu that appears, click the "Run as Administrator" option
5. If you have the User Account Control (UAC) enabled, you will be asked permission before the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.
6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow then press enter
7. a message is displayed to indicate that "the analysis of the system will start.
8. be patient because the analysis may take some time
9. If all files must be replaced, SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your DVD of Windows Vista/Windows 7 for this process to continue
10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.
11. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

I can't print from my computer. This has happened with no other visible defects on the computer or the printer.
When I use the printer in case of problem, and hit the 'add printer' link, I get the error message "print spooler service is not."
"I did a search on"print spooler"but got no result
Duane
Often, but not always, the symptoms you describe are caused by a corrupt print job stuck in the queue or a damaged printer driver. However before you clean things up, on general principles, that you can download, install, update and run full scans with each of these two free programs:
AntiMailware MalwareBytes
SUPERAntiSpywareDo not operate the two scans simultaneously. Each will take a long time, so start it and then go do something else for a while.
Cleaning of printers
NOTE: If after completing step has the print spooler is not always running after you launched the command "net start spooler", you will not be able to follow all the steps in "First Article". Instead, go to the other link and download and get and use the utility 'cleanspl' such as described here.
If the suggestions below do not resolve your problem, after back and don't forget to include the following information:
- The version of Windows you have, including service pack (start > run > winver > OK)
- The brand and model of printer you have (includes the manufacturer, model and model number, as in HP Deskjet 6800)
- How the printer is connected to the computer (parallel, USB, network, wireless, etc.).
- It happened just before this symptom started
- What application antivirus you have and if your subscription is up to date and has been maintained continuously
- The full text of the error messages related to printing, without paraphrasing
A. Clean on print jobs pending
- Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
- Type the following in the black command prompt window, and then press ENTER after each line
net stop spooler
del/q '% windir%\system32\spool\PRINTERS\*.* '.
net start spooler
outputB. clean the old printer drivers and install the latest drivers by using the directions in One Article. If you have (or had) a Lexmark printer, follow the instructions on the following site before installing the new drivers, as explained in its first Article: http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm

Difficulty 'Not connected' Error Messages When you try to access Web Services
If you are running on an error message on your printer stating that it is "not connected" when you try to access ePrint or your applications, but you know that it is connected to the internet, it probably just means that the printer does not connect to the server properly.
Here's the first set of markets, I will try, as they seem to solve this problem deliver half the time.
- The first thing I'd like to try in this situation is a reboot of the system.
- First, unplug the power cord at the back of your router.
- Then unplug the power either to the back of the printer or the wall without it first turn.
- Wait about 30 seconds and reconnect the power cord to your router.
- Wait about another 30 seconds and reconnect the printer. It should start back up automatically, but if it is not moving forward and press the power button.
- Once everything is back running, try to access ePrint or your applications.
If these steps do not work for you, the next thing would be to establish a static IP & DNS for the printer. Before doing this, you want to print a Network Setup page. It varies from a model, but usually found under settings wireless or in reports in the Setup menu. After that you have this page, follow these steps.
Before we begin, we need a network with your current connection settings configuration page. To do this, press the button on the front of your printer wireless and press 'Print Info' or 'print the State. " This example displays on a page of configuration of the network, which provides information on what we have to finish the next few steps.
- After that you have, we will need to access the built-in Web server (EWS) printers. You can do this by entering the IP address of printers (from the Network Setup page) browser press and the address bar type.
- Once there, press the 'Network' tab at the top of the page. From there, you'll want to click on the button "IPv4", on the f-side of the page. It will be there for wireless and wired, so make sure you click the one for you, but you are connected. If you do not see "IPv4", you should see 'Networking', press and press "Network Address (IP).
- Then, you click the small round button next to "Manual"IP address", and then fill in the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway using the information available on the network configuration page.
- For the primary or the preferred DNS server, you will want to enter 8.8.8.8.
- For secondary school or another DNS server, you will want to write 8.8.4.4.
- Click on apply and when the message appears saying that the changes have been applied, press 'OK '.
- Press the power button on your printer, wait that it completely power off and press it again to power it on.
- After doing this, go ahead and try to activate ePrint again.
These measures should fix this for you. If they don't, then something else can cause this problem for you. Reply in this thread if these steps do not work, and I'll see if I can help figure you out what might be causing the problem.
