Error on blue screen - 0xd1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

original title: BSOD error

Randomly, I get the Blue Screen of Death errors that require me to restart my computer.

The error is:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

STOP: 0X000000D1 (0 X 00000002, 0 X 00000000, 0X00000000, 0X00000008)

I don't know what to do to prevent this.  I have updated drivers little that I know not how to update, but I am pretty clueless when it comes to my computer.

Thanks in advance,

Kato

It is very useful.

I would start by looking at files MS not first (hoping that the MS ones don't really mourn).  BSV is not perfect on these things either in this result from top of the screen, but you have a good idea.

Notice in the MDL reports the field caused by the driver.  Most of them are Microsoft files, but the last is the Rtenicxp.sys which is a Realtek audio driver (and it tells you that).

BSV shows that you have more than 5 landfills, do you see a pattern in the field caused by the driver?

Is there anything in particular that you could do to see the BSOD?  Play games, listen to music, videos, etc.

Do you remember any recent software or hardware updates that can be downloaded as you notice the problem?

Sometimes malware will contribute to symptoms like that too.

I would like to by ensuring that you have the Realtek drivers for card later mother Gigabyte P35-DS3L (it was in your msinfo32 information).

You can get the XP drivers for this card Gigabyte from here:

http://www.gigabyte.com.au/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2629#DL

Realtek people may have a newer version, but on the Gigabyte page is only 2 months old and they keep their stuff pretty up to date.

If you are not sure which version of audio driver, you have, you can look in Device Manager or in msinfo32 under components, Sound Device in msinfo32 that you ran before.

If you are not sure, do the following:

For information about the audio drivers, expand components, click Sound Device, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste the information here.

You said you ran Malewarebytes, but I wish that you would too:

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:

Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/

SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

They can be uninstalled later if you wish.

If you get more BSODS, right after the BSV of latest news.

Do not guess what the problem might be - understand and resolve it. I need YOUR voice and the points for helpful answers and propose responses. I'm saving for a pony!

  • Error IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screen

    Hello

I just bought HP Pavlion dm4 1209tx and I get an Error IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screen. It occurs usually when I play music or watch videos. Initially the system will just hang, then the blue screen appears. I'm just a beginner so any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

I was able to update the driver, thanks to you!

So far, the system is not suspended yt or givng me a blue screen. I really hope that I won't get any more problem.

    Once again, thank you!

  • my computer turns off, no code error, no blue screen

my computer restarts auto no code error, no blue screen, it might be the drivers that I have installed or?  What can I do to solve this problem or found out how to solve this problem

    Hello Shelly,

Drivers could easily be the cause - or it could be quite a few other things.

I recommend a restore of the system to a restore point before you did what you did (when it was working fine).  If you use Windows 7, seehttp://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html. If you are using Vista, seehttp://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/. If you are using XP, seehttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084. Sometimes this simple process made the rounds and sometimes that doesn't help - but it is easy and worth if she has recently begun.

    Good luck!

    Hello jvecc,.

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft answers community.

This problem is caused by a defective unit or a device driver. Visit the website of the manufacturer of your computer or see if AMd drivers directly will work for your hardware configuration and then uninstall and reinstall your drivers.

  • Error 0x0000007B blue screen VM boot with 32-bit Windows 2003 using VMware Converter 4.0

Error 0x0000007B blue screen VM boot with 32-bit Windows 2003 using VMware Converter 4.0

I want to create a virtual machine using VMWare Converter 4.0 from an Acronis True Image to ESXi Server 3i .tib backup file. The conversation seems to be working, but when I try to start the virtual machine, it begins to start, displays the Windows 2003 splash screen briefly and then fails with a blue screen with the following error:

    STOP: 0X0000007B (0XFFFFFADFD520F3C0, 0XFFFFFFFFC0000034, 0 X 0000000000000000, 0 X 0000000000000000)

Looking through the forums I've seen this error mentioned with 64-bit Windows 2003, but no mention of 32-bit?

    Any help much appreciated.

    THX

    > Thanks, unfortunately the .tib Acronis True image files do not work with Converter 3.0.3

You already have a virtual computer that start - it's just bluescreens - so no need to run the full convert again.

Juist use Converter 3.0.3 to configure the virtual machine - part seemed to have failed

It was working fine and then all of a sudden the laptop froze and I got a blue screen, then the closed laptop.

I tried to reboot in safe mode and scan, but the blue screen came again. He continues to if randomly and every time it says there is an error with the material. My McAfee also will activate not entirely. Since the blue screen, I could not activate a virus protection, anti-spam filter and now the McAfee SecurityCenter is not yet open!

Indo a system should restore to yesterday (I have no problems yesterday)?

    Hello

It is really hard to tell what is causing this BSOD. Can you also tell us the code BSOD? This is important because if you can find a solution on the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
    Check this box!

System Restore is always an option. This BSOD can be hardware or software related so I would try a system restore. ;)

  • Error on blue screen (BSOD) during and after the installation of Windows 7

I had to reinstall Windows 7 using the recovery partition. When installing I kept getting blue screen errors and even now I still get the BSOD a few minutes. I have no problem in safe mode.

My laptop is a Satellite C650D - 12 c. I tried to update the BIOS, but I can't do it in safe mode. What should I do next?

Saved on the HARD drive recovery image is tested so everything should be OK with recovery image installation.
What you can try is to use the Microsoft installation disc to see if the same thing will happen again.

If Yes, I'm afraid, you need professional help with this Portable Mr. probably guaranteed so the service guy should check this.

    You created the recovery DVDs?
BTW: I think that the update of the BIOS is not solution. Recovery facility must operate with this original version of BIOS.

  • Satellite P20-771: Error Message blue screen after the reinstallation of the OS

    I have a portable Satellite P20-771 / Pentium 4 3.40 GHz (800/HTT) / XP Home / 17' with nVidia Geo5700 driver.

As I had a few problems with the software, and I reinstalled everything using the supplied CD. Unfortunately the canned computer malfunction sent me blue screen errors, which are due (it comes when I sumbit error to Microsoft) to device drivers. I've updated everything (I hope) of the Toshiba page, but I'm not an expert and I'm worried that I missed something or that something has not been loaded in the right order or that the parameter is incorrect.

I thank in advance for your help

    Roberto

    Hello

I read in this forum that the Blues screen error message appears due to hardware malfunction or malfunction serious software.
Usually after installing the new OS since the portable Toshiba Recovery CD should work properly.
It is not easy to say why the blue screen appears on you laptop.
Maybe you can post the content of the error message in this forum, and maybe we will find a solution.

  • Error on blue screen on Equium A100-549

    Hello

I won a laptop facing a blue screen error every time she has been put in service. I was provided with the essential components and did a format using the recovery CD. Once it was full, I pulled out the as shown then clicked exit Recovery CD. The black window says complete format and the PC turns off. When I try to turn on an orange light flashes on one of the LEDS and the PC does not illuminate. Most of the text is in Chinese, while he was working too (the owner of Chinese). I would be grateful for some assistance.

    Thank you very much.

    Hello

From your description, I guess that the LED flashes all the time if the AC adapter is plugged in. Am I wrong?
I think there is a hardware failure, and the LED provide a blink code.
Unfortunately, I n t think you can solve this problem by yourself.
In my opinion, a technician must check the laptop. Service guys are able to read the code and can find the fault.

  • C4H46AV: Error on blue screen during startup

My laptop HP recently received an updated windows 10. After the update when the laptop went to a reboot it throwed me a blue screen. The link below:

Finally, the problem solved. That's what I did step by step.

    1. as mentioned by WAWood created a bootable USB key to win 10.

2 tried to start the laptop via the USB port but without success. Tried several options but could never get the blue screen.

    3. finally tried Ctrl + F11 + F8 and suddenly saw a black screen with a disappeared within 2 seconds, then the laptop started to boot from USB

4 Laura me opt and selected for reinstalling Win10 but then got the error message when trying to install Win 10 where he solicited the installation location. Was getting the error message: "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is not GPT partition style.

    5. press the buttin back a couple of times and has reached the first screen where it asks if I want to reinstall Win10 or repair.

    6. then pressed Sift + F10 and got a promt back.

    7 entered the following commands:

    DiskPart
    list disk

    clean
    convert a GPT

    8. once the above commands is pressed again the Win10 install tab and finally installed Win 10.

I would add that I lost all my data but happy that my laptop is in place and now I am free of all the software that came bundled with HP because of the clean command I executed.

    Finally a happy ending.

    Thank you

    Sunil

  • Error on kernel stack inpage error and blue screen

(Note: this post was created on behalf of another user.)

Recently, my PC had blue screen errors.  Thinking it was probably a problem of aging HD, the HD has been replaced and a new install of Win XP Home Edition with Service Pack 2.  Blue screens persist despite the new drive.

The error is a "Kernel Stack Inpage Error".

It is a new drive with the same errors as before so I think that it is not a virus and probably a problem with another piece of hardware.  There is a minidump file available if need be.

Can someone please help with these errors?

    Thank you.

If you would like to get BSV and run it, then choose:

You'll be on your way and see the battery and your ATI drivers.

Updates Microsoft released the second Tuesday of each month (Patch Tuesday) so it would be on 07/12, but since you have SP2, I can't say what would happen or what updates you decided to install.  If you have accepted the recommendations of MS for video drivers (which are usually poorly), who knows what is happening.
