  If the system or Mode restore safe work not and you do not have a Microsoft Vista DVD, make a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

  Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  You can also try to restore the system in safe mode.

  Hi I recently got windows 7 Professional 64-bit my Thursday school last burn on a dvd. Everything seemed fine after installation, and such as Saturday when he starts in front of the screen of bio and then pop up with error recovery windows telling me that windows wasn't one to repair or start normally anyway would it continue to go to this windows error recovery screen bit whatever I chose. These events eventually led me to believe that my hard drive has failed in which I had a brand new only on Sunday and installed fine all appeared while Monday morning he started to blow upward with the same error message I could try the repairs say it was very good, try and boot and it would restart again. Fortunately I was able to install my Vista Edition home premium 64-bit, which seemed to be ok for most of the day until yesterday when it grew up the windows on error with the options to use the last configuration or start normally (due to the recent hardware or software changes, but I have not install anything new in terms of software or hardware) that works , but im not sure for how long. Im very tech savvy for my age and know what im doing with computers, but I can't seem to understand what is happening since it is a new player none of my hardware is a failure and I don't know.

  Thanks again for your response. Since your last I discovered through my system status (Control Panel), I wrote that my product ID and the Windows 7 activation status not available. So I followed instuctions to help and microsoft support to activate.  Yet once, I got the error code D0000034 as before with the problem of update. However, I was given the opportunity to phone, but received no phone #. I bought the DVD of Windows 7 and installed on the PC that was custom built for me.  On the site Web microsoft help and support, I was asked for the product ID, which according to them is a # 20 numbers.  Not the only one, I have is the product key which is one 25-alpha-numeric.  I tried to enter only and does not pass.  This is why I say that I can pay for help since I did not ' have the product ID.  Maybe it isn't your area of expertise, Irfan, but I was hoping... I re - install windows on last April when I got in trouble and probably did not re - activate? What do you think?  If you can get back on track, I would be very grateful and thank you once again to be a big help!

  Yesterday, I upgraded to a software called Turbo Lister for eBay.  The computer must restart for the changes to take effect.  It's the start of my problem.  After the reboot, I got Windows Error Recovery screen.  He recommends launch Startup Recovery or start Windows normally.  I tried both and keeps it just goes back to the screen even as a loop.  I tried to boot in safe mode does not work.  I have inserted the reinstallation cd and run Startup Repair and that has not worked.  Help, please!  Is that what I can do about it or he needs to see a professional?

  According to your message, you are not able to boot in Vista or using of the * "Launch Start up repair" * or * "Start windows normally" * procedure

  Unfortunately, I put t see any other possibility as to take the disk recovery and recovery of the laptop.

  It looks like a serious system problem that can be solved only by using the recovery disc and reinstall new OS.
  But note; the recovery disc formats the drive HARD integer for you will lose all data :(

I took it to the GeekSquad because I have a svc contract and think it could be material. They said material was beautiful, but I had spyware (I use Norton anti virus and it is up-to-date and running weekly) causing problems. Also said they were concerned that I had 9 dropouts of kernel in the log file. They suggested a complete wipe and reload. I was wondering that if an upgrade to Windows 7 would be a way less invasive for updating the kernel, there is a lot of work to clean and recharge! Another symptom is Internet Explorer seems unstable and often says he has encountered an error and stops it self.

  Still not too sure what happened or how it happened by the way, but when I turned on my PC today, I had the menu to choose start normally or repair starter system, when I try to start normally, the computer just as it happened to the Windows 7 loading screen.   10. restart normally. If things don't work then you can go back by copying files from the original register of Q:\Regback to Q:\Windows\System32\config.
