Hi Francis,.

Thanks for posting the query on the Microsoft Community Forum.

From the description, it seems that the error revceive you associated with VSS snapshot.

  1. What security software is installed on the computer?
  2. Do you have any third-party backup program installed on the computer?

To begin troubleshooting, I would suggest that you do Check Disk

  • Press Windows key + R
  • Type "cmd" to open the command prompt.
  • Type Chkdsk/r , and press enter.

Note:

If all available hard disk data can be lost when running chkdsk, as the chkdsk attempts to repair the affected area.

Reply with more information about the issue so that we can help you further.

I had the same problem with a HP dv5000 has an Intel Dual Core processor, after installed the 10 Pro Update window cleaning, after the update sent by Windows Update Service left me with this problem.

Thank you post I did check in the menu properties C: Tools.

After that, I was able to create a Restore Point.

Thank you very much for your message.

    The error message should include a line number to reference your code to see what line the error occurred on.

    That said, look at the documentation for SUBSTR as you incorrectly use the third parm.  It's length, no end of race.  That's your problem.

    Now if you followed this link, so I hope that you:

    (a) set the attribute of the object type to be a CLOB

    (b) sets the return value of your Mapper function to be a CLOB

    and not as in the example (which is the time before the existence of LISTAGG) as a Varchar2...

    Hello

    After an upgrade of 4.2.4 5.0.0 we aren't able to seeds and publish the translation.

    There is report error: ORA-06502: PL/SQL: digital or value error: character string buffer too small.

    DB version is 11.2.0.3.0.

    Main language 'fr', translation 'sk '.

    APEX day language is "en".

    Any thoughts?

    Hello

    Fortunately, we have solved the problem.

    After upgrading a default sort to the report was to 'language '.

    If report error, that is fair enough to click on a prompt different orders of the report to change the sorting of the report.

    (the blank report is displayed at the bottom of the page, and you can see the guests)

    After the click the report updates and looks OK.

    Good day.

    The flow of execution goes like this:
    1 FTP function called from PL/SQL block
    2 inside of the FTP service, the Sub statement calls the HOST function
    log_dir              varchar2(100) := get_env('$APPLCSF')||'/log';
    3. This HOST function in turn calls another function of overloaded HOST (code shown above).
    4. in the function overloaded with the HOST, the following statements are executed successfully, and FALSE is returned by the function
    dbms_output.put_line('m=1');
    result_out := 'ERROR : GLCC0005 presumed not running';
    dbms_output.put_line('result_out - '||result_out);
    5. the remaining code in the FTP service is running and the HOST function is called again using the Sub statement
    res := HOST('echo $$',proc_id);
    6.again, this HOST function in turn calls another function of overloaded HOST (code posted above).
    7. this time, in the function overloaded host, ORA-06502 is thrown when the following statement is executed and the execution stops here that this exception is unhandled.
    result_out := 'ERROR : GLCC0005 presumed not running';
    This statement is very successfully in the previous call to the function of HOST (step 4), but it fails now.

    Any idea on why this error occurs in this scenario? Because the issue of memory?

    Hello

    HOST (1) calls the function of MODERATOR (2) with his second parameter as result_out

    The first time you call the function of host (1) in the function get_env you use

    ...
     out varchar2(256);
    BEGIN
      res := HOST('echo '||env,out);
    ...

    out is big enough varchar2 (256)

    The second time you call (1) HOST of the FTP function as:

    ...
    ftp_main         varchar2(2000);
    proc_id           varchar2(10);
    fderr             varchar2(100);
    ...

    ...
              res := HOST('echo $$',proc_id);
              dbms_output.put_line('proc_id - '||proc_id);
    ...

    Here, use you proc_id which is varchar2 (10)

    And it's not big enough!

    Kind regards

  • Restore complete PC - either does not start or before restoration, said "the disk is defined as active in the BIOS is too small to recover the original system drive."

    I am trying to restore an image backup Vista 64 is 428 GB, the drive under restoration is a Velociraptor 2x300GB RAID 0 (about 558 GB under Windows), and the drive on which the image originated was is labeled as a 750 GB drive (actually about 698 GB / 433 GB used). When I first made the attempt I got some message on the target drive, have to be cleaned by diskpart, so I did. After that, I was able to complete the restoration - but after the restoration, at startup, I get the message:

    "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected bootable media and press a key.

    And under Windows, the drive does not appear. Disk Management displays the disk as unallocated space. So I added a new Simple Volume and then tried the new restoration. But now I get the message:

    "The drive is set as enabled in the BIOS is too small to recover the original system drive."

    Even if the restore completed successfully after cleaning, the drive is empty, and the player has more than 100 GB more space than the size of the image. After the restoration after the own, why can't it detect the boot sector; and if I try to restore after formatting, why do we say that the disc is too small? How can I successfully restore?

    Hello

    We can see the suggestion of Ryun on the link below and check if this helps solve the problem.

    Help, please.

    The result is:

    ORA-19280: XQuery dynamic type mismatch: expected has atomic value - get the node

    My bad, I didn't test it.

    It works on 10.2.0.5 (the closest version I have at my disposal):

    Select t.id

    dbms_xmlgen.convert (x.column_value.getstringval (), 1) as val

    Table 1 t

    xmltable ("string-join(/Rowset/Row/Code,",")"

    by the way of xmltype (t.myxml)

    ) x ;

    or equivalent:

    Select t.id

    dbms_xmlgen.convert)

    XMLQUERY ('string-join(/Rowset/Row/Code, ",")"

    by the way of xmltype (t.myxml)

    contents of return

    ). getStringVal()

    1

    ) as val

    Table 1 t;

    DBMS_XMLGEN. Call CONVERT is here to ensure that the entity is referred to in elements (if any) will be unescaped back to their readable forms.

    If you know for sure that there's no entity occurrence, you can remove that extra step.

  • Mobile site seems too small and on the left of the page

    When I implemented a mobile site and put a picture on it, the live version seems too small and on the left side of the screen.

    I checked if there are objects outside the framework, but it does not exist.

    I tried everything: a fairly small image, adjusting the with, remove anything that might be outside the framework from scratch and put a small random image in it, etc.

    What can be the problem?

    P1210104.JPG

    You can have a box that is wider than the margin of page and overlaps the right margin or something empty to the right... Check your muse file to make sure that nothing is right margin of page on the schema model or the page for the version of your phone.  CTRL + A to select the entire document... This will highlight all boxes and components. My guess is that you have a box hidden in the right margin.

  • iCloud backup after iOS 10 - some files were not available during the last backup

    HI - we are a company with about 350 users of iPhone and iPad.  I put this in the iCloud in the community section, but I've seen other users have the same problem in this section, so I thought I would add here.

    In order to stop users add their own e-mail accounts on the iPhone that lock us the device through restrictions - deactivation of the accounts section.  It stops and then access the iTunes settings.  In the test of iOS 10.0.1, we have one of the devices (a 16 GB 5 s, who had been a backup at 7:20 that morning), improved 9.3.2 that went well with no obvious problems, then, after a few days to leave the handset to the function, we have lifted the restriction and the backup on iCloud to find any backup not occurred since the upgrade and a message 'some files were not available during the last. backup"in its place.

    If all our staff upgrade their phones (we gave says not yet) then the backups look like they stop.  It is easy to fix, as a manual backup, will complete the process, but you have to remove the restriction to do this.

    We tested on iPhone 5, 5 s, air iPad iOS 8 to 9.3.5 and all have this problem.

    I have exactly the same problem, 16 GB iPhone 5s as well. I plan on raising at my Genius Bar appointment today.

    During the restore system to a previous restore point, I got this error "Access denied 0x80070005" Any Solutions?

    Possibilities:

    1. you are not the administrator. You don't have to enter the admin password valid when he asked for it.

    2. you probably have the problem with the infection by the virus.

    If you ARE the admin, suggestions:

    a. run a full scan.

    b. If the machine is clean, do your Safe Mode system restore.

    How to go in safe mode?

    Restart > immediately and repeatedly tapping the F8 key until you see a black and white scree > top? Touch down arrow, and then select Safe Mode > Enter > now that you are using safe mode. Make your system restore.

  • Too small to read the text Windows 7 App stacked.

    I have WIndows 7 and I chose to always combine my task bar buttons.  Unfortunately, I did something (and have no idea what) who did the too small to read the text of the stacked applications descriptions.  Infact, the icons seem to very small and cropped on the bottom and the text is clipped on the top and bottom of each line next to each icon.

    I should add that my test of the icon of the office and the size of the icons are both fine and did not appear to change.  It is only the text and the icon in the stacked list of applications in the space bar & task Pinned.  The text and the icon are also cultivated even if the application is not stacked.

    I have a picture of the issue of a screenshot, but don't know how to reach here.

    Charles.

    Hi Charles,

    Maybe it's that the program may have changed some of your registry settings and this is what is causing this problem. If it has not been too long, you can try perfomring a restore before, when this problem occurred.

    Alternatively, you can try an in place upgrade to windows 7 described here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2255099

    If anyone can help solve me this problem I would be very grateful.

    Thank you for your response.  I forgot to mention in my first post, I tried both methods without success.  However, I finally understand how to solve the problem that led me to want to do a restore of the system in the first place. for now, I am therefore able to avoid a system restore.

    Thanks again.
