After researching the error 0x8007000D code is essentially due to file corruption and a problem with the drive itself.

To check if the disk is wrong, you will need to copy the contents of the DVD to the hard drive and try to install using that.
To perform a flat installation of Windows Vista, follow these steps.
Note The hard disk must have at least 3 GB of free space on the disk for the Windows Vista installation files. - Insert the Windows Vista installation disc.
- Start Windows Explorer.
- In Windows Explorer, click to select the drive for the Windows Vista installation disc.
- On the Edit menu, click select all.
- On the Edit menu, click copy.
- Click to select the hard disk you want to contain the flat installation files.
- On the file menu, point to new, click the folder, type Windows Vista Setupand then press ENTER.

If the step above does not resolve the question suggests that you install the latest drivers for the DVD player on the computer.

How can I make sure that any firewalls (versions of software or hardware) does not block port 443 to access?
Hi Anna_753,
Usually, you would receive messages from any program if it is impossible to access the port.
If you want to check if the port is accessible, then you will need to check the firewall settings.
Each firewall has its own parameters for ports of the computer.

Original title: the scanner driver update problems.
Problem: I am trying to install a driver for an Epson scanner update. I get the error message: could not copy files. Make sure that the target disk is not read-only.
I'm running Windows XP Home edition. Scanner is an Epson Perfection V500 Photo.
What I did:
- A release with the support of Epson. They tell me that I have the admin rights. However, I am the administrator and log on as administrator
- I downloaded the epson driver update, which is an executable zip file. I right-click on the file, select Run As..., opt to run it as an admin user, enter my password and select run. The files are decompressed, but at some point in the installation, I get the message "couldn't cop files. Make sure that the target disk is not read-only. (Target is C:\)
- Furthermore, I installed this driver successfully on my other computer that is running Windows XP Professional
Why not copy the driver files?
Hi Passport35,
You can try the following steps and check if it helps.
Method 1:
You can try running the fixit article and following cjheck, if it helps.
Diagnose and solve the program installation and uninstallation problems automatically
Method 2:
If the previous step fails then I suggest that scan you SFC on the computer that would be a system file corrupt on the computer search and replace.
a. click Start, click Run, type cmd in the Open box and then click OK.
b. at the command prompt, type sfc/scannow, and then press ENTER.
Note: the scan may take a while, so be patient. Windows allows to fix corrupt or missing files it finds. If the information of the installation CD is required to fix the problem, you may be asked to insert your Windows XP installation CD.
Wait for the analysis of complete and then check if you can install the drivers.

Hello
1. do you get this error during installation, downloading or playing the game?2. What is the amount of free space on the hard drive?
Method 1: clean boot the computer and check if the problem occurs.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
Note: Follow step 7 to reset the computer to start as usual after the boot process.Method 2: uninstall and then reinstall the game and see if the problem still occurs.

After installing this game on a dell Inspiron 1545 computer, when I try to run the game, it starts to market and then, this error message
"Error during initialization: failed to load fileSysCheck.cfg Make sure that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is run from the correct folder"
By Teknogods
If it is a file that may be missing I will have to check see if I can find it online.
All the tips are more grateful, thank you.
Teknogods is the source of the problem, not the game of basic or Windows.
When using mods, that you'd better ask your question on the Teknogods or similar modding forum.

Hello world
I know, there are several other threads on this topic, but I couldn't find a working solution. I currently have no OS on my DELL XPS 17 L702X. When I try to install from a USB stick bootable Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 I get this error message: windows cannot be installed on this physical drive of this computer may not support the start-up this drive make sure that the drive controller is enabled in the computer's bios menu.I've tried wiping HARD drive and reformat with GParted. I don't really know what I could do.I would be very grateful if you could help meHello
I suggest that you contact the manufacturer of the computer to change the BIOS settings and check if it is has updated the BIOS.
Important: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.
Let us know the results. We will be happy to help you further.

I was able to add an account Gmail for Windows 8 Mail App on my first install and everything worked well. Then bought an SSD and completely installed a new OS of Windows 8 it. Connected with the Live account that I used with the first installation of windows 8. All synchronized. The Mail app has Live accounts and Gmail put in place without having to re-enter the information myself. However, I noticed that Gmail sync never even when I choose sync. Removed from the account to add it again, but have failed so far. Keep gives me the error "unable to connect. Make sure that the information you entered is correct. "Tried to install it on my phone Windows 8 (Nokia 920) and he keeps asking me to re-enter the password. I'm 100% sure that I have no 2-step check set up I checked several times. Never allowed them in the first place.
At this point, I don't know if it's Google problem or the problem of the Mail application. Any suggestion?
I also had the same problem. I had no problem for the other three Windows 8 install / computers that I used and the last she has imported all the fine adjustments. However, I had a portable Windows 8 different today and worked alone of my three accounts to Gmail. How I fixed it:
Of the Mail app: charms > settings > accounts > add account > other account (NOT GMAIL!)Click IMAP for account type, then enter your credentials as usual. It connected and synchronized immediately for me.Hope this helps! -
A new installation of indesign CC 2014 - I got this error message:
Cannot launch Adobe InDesign that you do not have sufficient permissions to access the preferences folders. Make sure that you have the appropriate permissions and then restart Adobe InDesign.
I tried to uninstall the application and reinstall it, still get the error
I tried to install a previous version - indesign 9; also get the error
I tried logging out CC and return, still does not work
I tried restart my desktop computer, still does not work.
went to the disk utility to verify and repair permissions. repaired all of an existing, still does not work
Apparently, a permissions problem, I don't know what to do to fix this

Trying to register for an account of apple's music. I went through and checked my student discount. When opening upward in iTunes it says "to use this feature, make sure that see the Apple music is selected in preferences.
When I go into the preferences of the "Show the features of apple's music" box is already checked. At a loss here...
Do it from iTunes directly on your computer. Connect your iPhone to your computer.
Click on iTunes Store, can find account manage, need to scroll to the bottom of the page. Click account management, and then enter your password. Scroll down the page until you see subscription (1) and click on manage. Select student members and follow the steps to verify with your student email. It should work. -
My OS is Windows XP service pack 3 version. I even tried to install FF4 but he never settle. As I mentioned my FF continues to try to update, but it gives the error message that I set out in the title. Now I don't have access to my FF browser and my life stopped because I have all my saved passwords on FF. I restarted my laptop but it stills try to update himself giving the same error message. If this does not help, then do a clean reinstall.Do a clean install (re)-:
- Download a new copy of Firefox and save the file to the desktop.

- Uninstall your current version of Firefox and remove the Firefox program folder before installing this copy of the Firefox installer.

- It is important to remove the Firefox program folder to delete all the files and make sure that there is no problem with the files that were the remains after uninstallation.
Your bookmarks and other profile data is stored elsewhere (not in the Firefox program folder) and will not be affected by a relocation, but make sure that you do not select delete data of a personal nature if you uninstall Firefox.
