  I recently bought a Tecra M7, but the system does not include recovery media, just a recovery partition and a recovery disk creator.

• TestStand 2013 error 80004005

  For some reason any, whenever I try to run the sequence editor I get a "system-level Exception" followed by "creating an instance of the COM CLSID {(B2794EF6-C0B6-11d) - 939 C-0020AF68E893 component witch} IClassFactory failed due to the following error: 80004005"

  I followed the patches published, including deleting stationglobals.ini, running 'Selector of Version' etc almost nothing works. The exception is that, after a PC restart, it will work, but very slowly; the sequence editor closing and restarting it brings error 80004005.

  I also tried to uninstall and re - install TestStand as well as complete re-installtion of 2014 DS.

  Short of re-formatting my hard drive and to go back I don't know what I can do.

  Any suggestions would be most welcome.

  As you can see, the attributes of the description of long and short are both defined as the DATE. The simplest solution would be to redefine (e.g. using AWM) to be VARCHAR2 of sufficient length. Go to the 'Détails' tab for each attribute change the data type. Once done, check the change by describing the view again once. The load should go afterwards.

• Adobe Customization Wizard XI: setup.ini is not found (during the recording of the MSI)

  I just confirmed against a 11.2.0.3.0 version of MN and
  11.2.0.3.0 RDBMS, there is a bug in AWM.
  I've found a workaround until the bug can be fixed in the next
  patch. I tested the workaound and it does not work properly.

  Workaround solution:
  When you open a session in AWM and connect to your database, please
  attach an analytic workspace that doesn't have data security.
  This will initialize the data provider of the server for you session or connection.
  After that, you can connect an analytic workspace that has safely
  data security and do not get the error you have seen.

  Note:
  The bug is the combination with the security of the data AND using the custom
  AWM. Properties setting _aw.model.show.attach = y. The bug is not
  happen if you choose to define _aw.model.show.attach = n or use the parameter
  off by default quite properly awm.properties automatically set the
  analytic workspace in rw mode.
  I'll fill a bug for this report and see it being solved in the next series of patch.

  I think Jim refers to a delete an import/export / in your analytic workspace via the OLAP worksheet. This is the approach I used during the restoration of broken AW.

  OLAP worksheet:

  Although I do not understand the above said, the root cause of fixing is a little something else.

  I'll explain the scenario.  The code is developed in TS4.1.0, although this should be irrelevant.

  I inherited a project of TestStand that call LabVIEW modules.  The original sequence works very well on the test pc (which is installed remotely).  Local and remote computer share the same StationGlobals.ini.

  This is why it is strange...  If I use the old or the new code, I get the error message on the local PC.  I was assuming that by using the same StationGlobals.ini would have fixed that, but it didn't.

  When I run the old code on the remote PC, I do not get this message, but I understand with the new code.  I don't remember changing the code that hit the StationGlobals.  My aim is to fix on both machines (at least one remote).

  It is the expression he doesn't like:

  However, this same expression is in the original code.  The only thing that has changed is the addition of a new model number in the Locals.Models.newNumber.  I suspect that this contributes to the error.  But why it give me an error when I run the local original sequence?  Maybe I should try running it again...

  I found the problem...  There was a disconnect with the number of models.  Easy fix.  It's all good.

  For anyone else that might fall on this thread for the same reason, here is an explanation.

  I added a new model with its variants to the Locals.Models list.  In total, he had 16 additions to the list.

  I also added to the StationGlobals.  Which means that my StationGlobals is no longer equal that on the remote PC.

  Where the error came, is there a model missing in the StationGlobals, so the size (number of models) does not match that of the local population.

  Surveillance at sea listed models a slight (I won't even count them).  Now fixed.

  ... and embarrassed...
