If you use Windows XP / Vista or Mac OS X 10.6.8

You must install Adobe Application Manager , to help you install CS Photoshop version 6.

Windows: After installation, creates the shortcut on the desktop.

  • Adding SCSI - HOST OS card works fine, GUEST operating system does not see the new hardware

I have a HOST Windows XP Pro SP3 with VMWare v6.5.2 running Windows Server 2003 R2 STD, SP2 as OS GUEST running on any new Dell Precision T3500 Workstation.

I've closed the COMMENTS and then HOST. Installed an Adeptec SCSI 39160 card in the PC. The card is a 64-bit and is installed in a PCI 32-bit slot. (It is backwards compatible with 32 - bit)

Powered on PC. Install the drivers of Adeptec on the HOST. Works fine and I can see the card under Windows XP. Rebooted and everything is always OKm POST shows the installed card and search devices. I have no device attached at this point.

GUEST operating system has started and it does not automatically detect the card. Tried to run the Add Hardware Wizard and same result. Tried to use VMWare to install the new Hard ware with no result.

Can tell you how I can get the OS TO see / use the new SCSI card?

    golden rule:

old guest will love the buslogic controller

new comments will love the lsi-logic controller

    It depends on your guest

  • Why do I get the message that my operating system is not supported?

My computer is running Windows 7-64 bit. I have the latest softwear on my iPhone and my iPad. I installed edge inspect on these devices and have the advantage of Google Chrome to inspect the installed extension. I have enter my password strengthened for both devices in the Chrome extension. Why do I get the message that my operating system is not yet supported?

It's VERY interesting... even if I got this weird message, once I connected my iPhone and my iPad to the extension of Google, it worked! See all what I automatically in Google Chrome displays in the application of edge inspect on small devices. It's clean! The only problem I see is that Adobe needs to replace the error message with information about the use of the application.

  • Serial port under guest operating system does not work

Running VMWare Workstation 7.1.3 on win 7-64 bit. Guest operating system is win 7 32 AND Windows XP (32 bit). I followed the instructions on connecting to the host serial port. However, there is no access to serial port a guest OS. Serial Port sniffer running on the host shows NO ACTIVITY on the port operating system serial host.

Even serial device, attached and if running on the host works very well.

    Any ideas?

    Steve

I doubt that the documentation is correct for what is with VMplayer 3 on Windows TGV serial ports is.
    Read my notes http://faq.sanbarrow.com/index.php?solution_id=1007

I removed the option of thinprint and reconfigured the serial port in the vmx file attached.

Turn off the virtual machine and replace the existing by the attached vmx file.
    Then try again

If it still does not - change
    Serial0.yieldOnMsrRead = "FALSE".
    TO
    Serial0.yieldOnMsrRead = 'true '.

  • NIC Vista guest operating system does not work

I am running VMware Workstation 5.5.5 build-56455, on a Win XP Pro host system.

I just installed Windows Vista business as a guest operating system, but I can't get the network to work.

    How to make this work?

The 'real' my Dell workstation NIC is a Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit Controller, if it is relevant at all.

    Concerning

    MazH

It seems that the virtual NETWORK adapter is not installed on the client, otherwise, you would see an adapter in the comments "ipconfig" with an APIPA address.

Install the VMware tools in the comments (you always do). It contains the correctdrivers for the virtual card.

  • Operating system does not support Microsoft Fix - It

Try to download the microsoft fix - it. Impossible Solution Center to-said response system does not support. How can I get my system to support?

As strange as it sounds, unless you provide the information, we can not say that your system is or what FixIt you would have attempted to download.

Learn how to ask a question.

To identify your Windows version, including service pack, right-click on desktop and select Properties.

Rather than trying to understand on what particular FixIt you were trying to use, explain your problem and include the full text of the error message may be received without paraphrase (not the message about the FixIt is not supported).

  • Do not use the Brink game on my computer laptop-message of error: the current video card/driver does not support openGL3.1 or newer.

I bought this game for my son who has installed ok. But when pressed on play error message: the current video card/driver does not support openGL3.1 or newer.

We have Windows Vista SP2. Does this mean I now have to buy a video card or y at - there a way around this without costing me more money?
    Kind regards
    Sam Towle

    Hello

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: make sure the game is compatible with your computer.

Method 2: update the video card driver and check if that helps.

Update a hardware driver that is not working properly: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work properly

If both methods fail, you will then need to get a new video card.

    I hope that helps!

Altogether. You just need to create one of these.

For starters, you can find more information on how to do it on the http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vi3_35/esx_3i_e/r35/vi3_35_25_3i_server_config.pdf page29
