Error 'this computer cannot connect to a homegroup. " How can I connect my 2 parts forming a home network?
I'm trying to connect my pc with my pc upstairs downstairs (both HP pcs. 1pc is Vista, the other is 8.1). Now, I guess I'm on the right track to connect both PC and trying to establish them as a group residential when I get to the page of the homegroup, it reads 'this computer cannot connect to a homegroup' Finally I get 'service Homegroup provider is not running.
How can I connect my 2 parts forming a home network?
Thank you DVSMSC I missed it - you have reason. Homegroup is introduced in Windows 7 and works in 8 / 8.1 / 10 also, but not back to Vista.

Error is the standard:
This computer cannot connect to the remote computer. Try to connect again. If the problem persists...
The error I get in Event Viewer is the layer of security event 56 TermmDD the Terminal Server has detected an error in the protocol stream and has disconnected the client.
When I disable RDP and remove certificate from the Office is restarted remotely and then restart RDP I get one login before it fails again. It also shows only the download of the certificate on the first computer that connects to try and MOP in. If I try to another, it will not download the certificate.
No matter if I try anyway to RDP with Windows XP, 7, Server 2003, 2008 r2 and I tried all RDP to see if it would at least somehwat work.
All computers on the domain work for RDP is only now a single computer.

I have a HP ENVY laptop new - 13D-d000 CTO (ENERGY STAR).
Product name N8R87AV
Windows Pro 10
64 bit
Network adapter: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265
When I click on the wireless icon - it shows me the connection within the home. I connect and it says it is the network configuration required, but then it crashes. I try again later and it does not find the connection at all. Other devices in the House are connected, so I know that the real wireless works.
I called HP Tech Support, they tell me it's a matter of Internet provider, I call AT & T and they say it's a problem of HP. I call HP Technical Support and they always say it is a problem of ATT and I have to tell them to configure the settings. I call ATT and they cannot diagnose and insist that it is a problem of HP. I'm not at a loss.
I hope to find a solution, it seems that networking with HP wireless seems to be ongoing question. Thanks in advance for your help.
Consult and follow the suggestions in the Document troubleshooting:
HP PC - Troubleshooting wireless network and Internet (Windows 10)
Comment
It is possible, depending on when your new computer was actually produced and implemented for Windows 10, that the Intel Wireless LAN Driver should be updated - or at least reinstalled.
Drivers (Windows 10) HP ENVY laptop - 13D-d000 CTO (ENERGY STAR):
=====================================================================
Update the BIOS
Also listed in the section of the conductors: update of the BIOS. Note that the BIOS updates are an inherent risk; It is strongly recommended that only update you your BIOS when necessary (ie., to correct a problem) and only after that you have completely backed up system - which includes all critical files be available either on the cloud or backed up to an external drive where you can access it.
Version: Rev.A e.16
Windows key + R (open the Run command) > type msinfo32
Opens the Information System
Under System summary > to the right of the Version of the BIOS/Date search

Computer cannot connect to internet after the user changed network name
Original title: "Network__".
We offer free wifi in our lobby and yesterday a man asked our pin # so he could get on the internet, we discovered after leaving one of our computers cannot connect to the internet as the name of network now shows its computer network and it has need of a code key passes and the password , how can we disable and back to ours?
You gave your PIN #?There should be a reset button on your access to restore your system toby default. Of course, you will then have to re-enter many of yoursecurity data, unless you have saved it."Artic Auto Air" wrote in messageNews: 92aa11d3-77ea-4680-b04c-c415b59e2c66...> We provide free wifi in our lobby and yesterday a man asked our pin #.> so he could get on the internet, we discovered after leaving one of our> computers cannot connect to the internet because the name of the network shows now> like its computer network and there need a code key passes and the password, how> We turn off and back to ours? -
Computer cannot connect to the printer via the local network
I have two computers sharing a printer, the printer is connected with USB is Vista Home Premium 32-bit. The other which must be connected wireless is old computer Windows 7 Home Premium. My, I suppose his ultimate, I'm not sure tho, that works fine with the printer. This Home Premium one just can not connect to the printer. It keeps saying can't find a print reader, I downloaded a universal driver HP that I learned other positions, and he said that it was not a correct driver.
I asked our technical support to help me. And he told me that Home Premium has this problem. The only way I can solve this is to update my system at least pro. I checked online but I have not seen someone talked about this. Just make sure that is it true? If not, what can do now?Thank you very much.Hello

I stopped to receive mail after December 31. It indicates that the computer cannot connect to my account but when I log in with my password I get the message "this account already exists." How can I get my email account to work again?
MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan
First of all, make sure that you don't have two accounts with the same address. What happens if one of them is an iCloud account.
From the Mail menu bar, you select
▹ Connection Doctor window
In the window that opens, look for an SMTP (outgoing mail) account with a name that corresponds to the account that you are trying to add. Double-click it. Another window opens, displaying the list of all outgoing mail accounts. Click the sign button less to remove the corresponding one, and then click OK.
Try to add the email account again. If you still can not, log off or restart the computer, and then open the preferences window accounts Internet and check if the account is displayed.

I have the internet Charter. I am a home user. I tried to set the parental control and received this message: because this computer is connected to a domain, Parental controls are not available. Again, I am a home user. What does that mean?
Hello
1. which user account you are using for Parental control (Please note that you cannot apply parental controls on a user admin account? It can be applied to standard user only accounts)?
2 have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
I ask through the following article to find out how to set up Parental controls:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/products/features/parental-controls
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/set-up-parental-controls
After completing the above links persist issue please fallow the mentioned below of the methods.
Method 1: Disable UAC (User Account Control) and check the result
See http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/how-do-I-change-the-behavior-of-user-account-control-by-using-the-sliderNote: You must restart your computer when you enable or disable UAC. Change levels of notification does not require that you restart your computer.
Important: Enable UAC after you complete the steps.
Method 2: If the problem persists, try to set the parental control in safe mode and check the result. If you are able to apply settings in safe mode, this means that some program is causing this problem, mainly the security software.
See http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-modeHope the above information is helpful.

Get the message "This Mac cannot connect to iCloud due to a problem with my Id, open Preferences to solve iCloud iCloud" after entering my password which is accepted and then after a minute or two messages is.
I'm your pain ptapp!
Through my research for an answer that solves this problem, I have found that not even Apple knows how to solve this problem of password to iCloud.
All 4 of my devices constantly ask my password because of some problems with xyz account.
Then I enter the password only to be told that iCloud cannot check my password.
Then after several repetitions of this I get locked and have to go to the site apple id to change my password.
I didn't spend $6 000 on these beautiful devices so I could spend countless hours dealing with support (with no positive result) and find themselves just beyond myself in frustration. I have a Mac Pro, 2 iPads, 2 iPhones and an iPod touch. All are behaving this way, no matter what it is I'm doing at the time.
Apple needs to fix this problem, if they have any idea how to.
