error: toshiba mk6465gsx ata device on my HP Pavilion dv7-4165dx Entertainment Notebook...
I get an error: toshiba mk6465gsx ata device on my HP Pavilion dv7-4165dx Entertainment Notebook.
I don't know how much it will cost to get replaced, nor which breaks its failure. The Geek Squad Agent I spoke with said that this failure can happen to new machines, even in a month. It's really random.
Knowing however the problem will help you to get an estimate over the phone or through music online with an agent.

Imminent disk failure toshiba mk6465gsx ata device - utility?
My laptop DV6 gives sudden message that there is an imminent disk failure. Recently saved. Reading on a support page that could be a problem with the CHIP. Article says to download the Seagate utility, but it is a Toshiba drive I have.
I don't see a similar utility from Toshiba on this site.
Any advice?
I tried to restart; had problems to do this (told me to reload the operating system on the 'black' screen). If turned off the coast during the night and started well the next day, but still give the warning of Imminent failure (which I've since turned it off).
The hard drive is about to fail completely and must be replaced. If you are still in warranty HP will send a replacement. If this is not the case, a laptop SATA hard detail can be used. Just be sure to get a quality at least equal the original in order to use recovery disks. It may be big, but not small ability more. For example if you have a 500 GB hard drive you can use a 750 GB hard drive, but not a 320 GB hard drive.
If you need help with selection and replace of the disk station hard back with model number & full product as indicated on the Service tag on the bottom of the laptop.

Pavilion DV7-4270us: Windows 7 cannot locate bluetooth device drivers
Hello:
Windows 7 can not find the drivers for the bluetooth headset.
Any suggestions?
Thank you.
Hi Jkhjr,
There are 2 possible solutions to install the Bluetooth driver.
You can install 'Broadcom 2070 Bluetooth software and driver' and see if the bluetooth appears in Device Manager. If this isn't the case, please unisntall it and try with ' Ralink/Motorola Bluetooth Adapter Driver. You can find these drivers in this link:
Select the option "expand all" and with ctrl + f search for bluetooth.
Hope this helps. !!

Pavilion dv7-1110eo: HP Pavilion dv7-1110eo error after update BIOS startup
I've updated the BIOS (it is now Hewlett-Packard F.49) with a download from the HP Web site. I wish I had not done that because it's my portable patient. When start it freezes and the only thing that I see is black screen with HP logo. No button works.
Later I discovered that BIOS itself is not the problem (I tried to get back the old version for a long time without success), it is the connected USB devices or USB ports, don't know. My laptop starts normally and works perfectly if I remove all plug-ins USB until I press the power button. After the black screen is passed I can plug the USB and they work too. I wonder if any of you ever faced this kind of problem...! If you have and you know how to solve this problem, please help. (Finnish HP customer service couldn't help me).
Here's a full report of the problem (my blog):

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion dv7-1110eo Entertainment Notebook and questions with a BIOS update. You can reset the BIOS with this document by selecting the reload the default BIOS settings. Helping other people.
Note Remove all USB devices. Disconnect all devices of non-essential, as these can cause some problems.
Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant, if you need it. Simply download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system, including USB devices.
I hope this helps.

Lack of device drivers for HP Pavilion m6 - 1084ca
Hello
I have a HP Pavilion m6 - 1084ca Entertainment Notebook PC with Dual AMD Radeon HD graphics 7660 + 7600 M and have recently had problems with my graphics card drivers (I tried the coat that I shoudn't have since everything worked very well). I have the uninstalled and reinstalled them. Now, they seem to work except that I now have some unknown devices in Device Manager. Here is the hardware ID. I can't find the proper drivers.
- Unknown devices under:
1ST: PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_7812 & SUBSYS_18A7103C & REV_03
2ND: PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_7812 & SUBSYS_18A7103C & REV_03
- Under Bus USB controllers
Unknow device: locationort_ #0003.Hub_ #0003 unknown hardware Id
which I believe was PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_780B & SUBSYS_18A7103C & REV_14
This last hardware ID I think was for an AMD smBus and I thought I had found the driver and installed it. Then when I restarted the unknown device seems unknown devices have left for Universal Serial Bus Controller but is still unknown (and now, does not have a hardware ID). I had the driver here that I realized later was for another HP computer.
Anyway I can't find anywhere that I can get these three pilots. I started watching my computers page on the HP site but could not locate the appropriate drivers.
I have been looking for the drivers for chipset for my computer, but can't find them. I was told that install the chipset drivers will fix this as are the drivers I'm missing in the chipset drivers. I don't know how to proceed.
I will continue to comb the internet hoping to find these drivers. Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated
I was reading this and it has been proposed as an easy solution to close and disconnect the battery and the power of the computer and leave it for 30 sec. I then return the computer and went to the Device Manager, and now there is no problem. Thanks for your help.
I tried all the suggestions except message 9.

Re: Toshiba DVGW/hd ts-l802a ata device issues
Well, I'm not sure what happened, but between last week and this week, when I insert a CD or DVD in my laptop, it does not read them. In my device manager, there's a little warning! symbol "Toshiba DVGW/hd ts-l802a ata device" under CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives. It shows this message: "Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) »
I don't know if I uninstalled something by accident, or if it is another problem entirely. Can someone please tell me what to do? I want to be able to play movies on my computer again!
Thanks in advance!

FaisalWhat model laptop do you have?
Try to remove the CD/DVD filters in the registry.
When the associated CD/DVD (such as iTunes, Nero, virtual CD software), the software is installed, they install filters in the registry, which can cause compatibility problems.(1) run Regedit (start-> Run-> Regedit)
2) navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
(3) in the right pane, delete the "UpperFilters" key and delete the key "LowerFilters".
(4) restart. If your CD/DVD programs stop working, you will need to reinstall them (preferably with an updated version).
This utility can remove the filters for you:

Get disc with FUJITSU MHZ2250BH G2 ATA Device error during analysis of Microsoft Security Essentials
I did a scan with microsoft essentials and it has been scanning since 11:00 and it is now 18:00, and it's to halfway through with scan. This error poped upward and says not found disk failure and backup files contact microsoft for determanition error. That's what he gives me; (FUJITSU MHZ2250BH G2 ATA Device Volume: C:\;D;\) This problem is on a HP pavilion entertanement laptop
It is now telling me that malicious or unwanted software may exist on my system and I can see once the scanning is complete.
This error mainly see Hardware page, which means that your hard drive might drive or problem. go to the driver and right click on them (for example drive c :) and then go to the temptation and then Tools then look for error checking and run the error-checking.) You can also contact your manufacturing support for assistance. In such cases, it is best to get the backup for now and repair the hard drive, it's because of probable hardware problem and it is likelynot an infection or a virus.

Hello
19 code means there is a driver conflict such as two devices attempt to use the same resources.
Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack.Normally the above will solve this problem otherwise working your way down through them, even if you did

Equium L40-156: graphics card problem - error code 12 in Device Manager
People of the night...
Just got a family run Vista premium, Equium L40-156, everything is going well except a little problem with the display adapter (Mobile Intel 965).
Tried the drivers that I had with the installer
Tried the drivers from the toshiba download page
Tried the drivers on the Microsoft Update site
Tried the drivers from the website of intelAll have the same problem, in Device Manager, it shows with an error (the pretty yellow triangle with the "!") with an error code 12 (the device cannot find enough free resources) even after a system resart.
Switching view hidden devices displays a 2nd same device, but works correctly, but the two disappear if I try to delete either.
Display settings do not display a connected device, DXDIAG had no idea either.Latest version of the BIOS installed, all other devices are very good and can not see an IO overlap anywhere
Any suggestions, greatly appriciated

Hello
I have studied a little bit and looked on the Microsoft page for some answers and found out what exactly means the error code 12.
------------------------------------
+ Error code 12 +.+ This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. (Code 12) +.
+ Two devices are assigned the same i/o ports, the same interrupt, or the same Direct memory access channel (whether through BIOS, the operating system, or a combination of both). This error message may also appear if the BIOS did not allocate enough resources to the device (for example, if a (USB) universal serial bus controller is not an interruption of the BIOS because of a corrupt MPS (Multiprocessor) system table). +
-------------------------------------Well, what to say; usually this error message should not appear with the original Toshiba preinstalled operating system.
I put t know if you have changed something or add an additional device, but it would be very interesting to know if the same error message appears after the reinstallation of the OS.
You can use the Toshiba Recovery CD/DVD of restoration! All the drivers, the tools are already preinstalled on the recovery CD so the entire procedure will not take very long. about 10 min.
Check this box and report if the same error is displayed on the laptop with the factory settings!
Good bye
