Error 'TSUVEF.exe' and "TCA.exe" have stopped working.

Yesterday I stupidly opened an attatchment email and soon discovered that it was a virus, the worst I've seen to be honest, he had allsorts of keyloggers and Trojans to the breast. I installed my anti-virus software that sent the virus and also installed antispyware who got rid of the other of the United-desirables Nations.

Although everything is now clean, when I restart my computer, I get the message "TSUVEF.exe has stopped working" and "TCA.exe has stopped working" (the latter is not pop up more that this may have been a product of the virus.

But 1 appears on occasion and as such a unusable EACH link, shortcut and the program on my PC.

When I goto my Start menu and click on one of the many programs installed (including my web browser) I get the dialog box that appears "choose the program you want to open this file..."

Absolutely everything THAT seems to have lost his path or your identity, I have so much work on my computer I don't want to have to format, is there another solution?

Thank you.

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

Method 1: Try scanner SFC [SFC system] on the computer that would be a system file corrupt on the computer search and replace.

    Method 2:

Also try to set up your computer in a clean boot state, and check if the same issue occurs.

By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

Try to scan your hard disk from the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

  • After you install torchlight 1, my PC stops several times and gives an error "torchlight exe has stopped working".

Hello, I recently bought torchlight 1 for my pc, Windows 7/Vista. Ive had my pc stop repeatedly. I contacted technical support of Torchlight, sent files Dxdiag and msinfo, after reviewing, the suggested running in safe mode, but, after having tried 2 times, each time, got a dialog box stating "" torchlight exe has stopped working '. " When I send a tech, their eval was as follows:

Looks like it's a question of system rather than a question of the torchlight.  I say this because, as the game has been started in SafeMode only the windows system files are loaded into memory.  So, when Torchlight.exe attempts to access these files with torches can not due to a problem with your file system.  At this point, the only options are the following:

    (1) create a new user profile and attempt to play the torches of this new profile.
    (2) depending on how long it's been since your last windows installation costs, you can try to repair windows to resolve any system problems of files or reformat your PC
    (3) contact the Support technology Windows to help your application for stay of troubleshooting problems.

Using technicians on site for your comments, is their a problem with my Windows 7?

As torchlight works perfectly on my Windows 7 x 64 laptop, I suppose that "it is a question of system rather than a question of the torchlight", too. Especially when your system shuts down instead of simply display a message on a program "stopped working", brings us to this conclusion.

The most common causes for a corrupt Windows are "optimizers" of sorts (registry cleaners, etc.), the over-zealous antivirus programs and incomplete software installations. This can affect your overall performance of the system, not only the proper functioning of a game, so reformatting/reinstall or restore an unchanged system image from backup may be the safest advice.

  • How to install a driver for f4500? Error dot4_plugin.exe has stopped working

I had this printer HP Desk Jet F4500 connected to my computer laptop operating system windows 7 64 bit for months now, the printer has no drivers and I can't get them.  I went on HP website and downloaded the base and the recommended full downloads and still the same error Stops the installation.  dot4_plugin.exe has stopped working the extent of attributes are inconsisitent.

Help I am more than two hours in this and don't know where yet.

I did some additional research on this issue, more specifically the error 'extended attributes are inconsisitent' and found that this seems to be a Windows problem. Here are a few things you can try to solve the problem:

Method 1: Perform a scan of the file system (CFS) checker on your computer

Steps to use the SFC/SCANNOW command:

    1. click on start-> click on all programs-> click Accessories-> right click on command prompt-> Select run administrator-> click on continue
    2. at the command prompt-> Type "sfc/scannow"-> press enter
    3. follow on-screen messages to start the analysis of the system (this process can take a long time)
    The following will happen:
Start of the phase of verification of the scanning system of-> % of full audit.
    4. once the analysis is complete, you will see a message with one of the following:
    a. not found any breach of integrity
    b. find corruption but repaired
    c. corruption that he couldn't fix

Method 2: System Restore will take your PC to a previous state when the PC worked.

To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start-> Type "System Restore" in the box start search-> click System Restore listed programs.
Type your password-> click continue (if you have one)
    2. in the dialog box the system restore-> click on a different restore point-> click Next.
    3. in the list of restore points-> click a restore point created before you started having problems-> click Next-> click Finish.

  • Error 'setup.exe has stopped working' when installing Quicken.

Original title: setup.exe has stopped working

I have read through the related forums and don't think I've seen a solid answer to this problem.  I'm trying to reinstall Quicken on my Dell Inspiron 530 Vista with service pack 2.  (Long and ugly tells how he got deleted at first - thank you, Intuit).

When I try to install Quicken, I get the above error message.  I tried the clean boot solution; I tried to enter the installation and execution of the exe directly from there; I tried to do a right click to open/run as administrator... etc.

I have NOT run BigFix.com or other third-party software to solve this problem - I'm very comfortable with another piece of software download and throw into the equation.  What is a corrupted registry and I have TO run third to fix?  Is it a bug of Vista - is there a fix of bug for her?

I really don't like that to 'guilty' at this point, I just want to repair and recover my electronic payments!  Help, please!

  • Windows 7 error: "5487992.exe has stopped working".

I have a Windows 7 machine and I started getting the following message: "5487992.exe has stopped working". The computer will function normally after you close the error for about 5 minutes, how the machine gets to the login screen. If I log in as usual I receive the same error message and return to the display of connection in 5 minutes again.

I searched this error message and don't have wonder no results found. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Mike

    Hi Mike,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

    1. You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?
    2. It happens when you navigate to a specific application? If so, name the application you initiate.

The causes of .exe error messages can vary considerably. However, most of the .exe errors result from a corrupted or damaged file ntdll.dll version itself, corrupt hardware drivers, or issues between Windows and other programs.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

Put your system to the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

Note: See "how to reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting" to prepare the computer to start as usual after a repair.

If the problem exists, try the next method.

    Method 2:

I suggest you to perform a file system (CFS) Checker scan to check the alteration of system files.

    1. Go to Start, click all programs and open the Accessories.
    2. Right-click on command prompt in the list programs, and then select run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click OK.
    3. In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

For more information, refer to this link:

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

    Hello

    1. have you made changes to the computer recently?
    2. the program is already running while update you?
    3. where did you download this update?

    Method 1.
I ask you to re - download the update and then try to install it. Its possible this bootstrapper is damaged. If the problem persists, then put the computer in a clean boot state, and then try to update.
May be a third party application is causing the conflict.

If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.
