Error when the connection that reads the user profile service service has no logon. User profile cannot be loaded

I've worked on my computer fine all day and then went to log on to the evening and received this message. When I look on user profiles it shows my user as a 'backup '. I have a lot of documents and emails that I need. Is there a way to fix this, other than to create a new account and delete the old one?

The data is still there and accessible by any admin look under C:\Users account where C: is
the drive where the profiles of users (folders).

You can try to fix it with Safe Mode - repeatedly press F8 as you bootup. Also the ADMINISTRATOR account of
Safe mode has no password by default unless someone has changed.

Other methods:

Use the hidden administrator account to lower your user account (to the lowest level) APPLY/OK then go back
and reset it to the Admin APPLY/OK - this clearly allows corruption. Do this several times. Do the same for others
accounts that may be difficult. If necessary you can also reset your password in the accounts.
Do not forget to leave your Admin account and the other to the desired level.

Make another Admin account with your password and use it to fix the others if necessary. (just for
repair, don't use regular account, not a safety valve) always keep a spare ADMIN account.

DO NOT LEAVE THE ENABLED LSA OR USE DAILY. If it corrupts you are toast!

    This also happened to me in another case. All local users are unable to connect they get this error. For example if I enable comments or create a local user account that is a member of the 'users' group I get this error when you connect using the accounts of the said that has been set with a blank password. However, I was able to use my administrator account to manage my machine. You probabbly deleted your permissions on the "C:\Users" folder or the root of the drive itself. If you have a local account, you can plug this hard drive into a computer with the same OS as slave then add "everyone" group with full control and select inherit permissions from parent.     This example has nothing to do with the RETURN key specifically.  It fires all simply whenever the value of the control is changed.  If you click outside the text box or on another still controls the value changes and still the event is raised.  This is often the desired so if it works in your application, you good to go.

    You CAN ONLY answer a particular key if you wish.  Set your event to meet 'This VI' > key down.  Then, read the proposal Vcle on the left side of the structure of the event and compare it to the RETURN (for example).  The Boolean result of the comparison gets connected to a structure to deal with your code to run inside.  You can also wire Vcle directly to a case structure and execute different code based on which key was pressed last.

    Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    From your description, it seems that you are not able to connect to the user account when you try to connect you get following error. The user profile Service has no logon

    This behavior can occur if the user profile was deleted manually using the command prompt or by using Windows Explorer. A profile that is manually deleted does not remove the security identifier (SID) of the list of profiles in the registry.

    If the SID is present, Windows will try to load the profile using the profile Image path that points to a nonexistent path. Therefore, the profile cannot be loaded.

    To resolve the problem with the user account, you can follow these steps:
    Method 1:
    (a) click Start, type regedit in the start search box, and then press ENTER.
    (b) search for, and then expand the following registry subkey:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

    (c) right click the SID that you want to remove, and then click on remove.
    (d) log on to the computer and create a new profile.
