Error - Windows cannot find HELPCTR. EXE, not able to open help and support in Windows XP Edition family.

Original title: help and support on windows XP Home Edition / ' helpctr.exe no path of the Panel start.

He is also said to open help and Support, but when I get the file he doesent exsist. I typed the micrsoft directions but it just says: the same thing-Windows cannot find helpctr.exe... then when I try to search in the Middle it says librrary something LONG when I X out the screen goes blank then comes back healthy Windows open a window I have never heard od to type a regrestry or something can someone help me with this question

Found that I had the same problem here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555472

"To solve the problem, follow these steps:

Go to the Windows registry.
Navigate to the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/App Paths

-Double-click HELPCTR. EXE.
Right-click (default) in the right pane, and then click on edit.

Type the following command:

C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries\HelpCtr.exe

Click OK.
Exit the registry editor and restart Windows XP".

what I did export this key to work windows XP install and import the reg file for windows failure or you can manually create the key and send it to point to the location of the file if the file is missing then copies the file u do not know if the file differs from the House of Pro but its another option to take if U'r is still stuck.
Sort my prob was the corruption in the reg for missing file that the hotfix may not work as such. If U still have the problem (cause the post is old) so good luck
