Hello, my PC crashes every time I use mode 'sleep'. Tried to analyze dumps myself, but have not had luck so far. Could you please look at my dump and tell me what the problem is.

    This happens whenever I leave my PC slowed down and go to bed, it IS NOT the case while I use it.

    Have had problems since 31/12/09.  Tech replaced Dell hard drive 14/01/10 because all software solutions did not resolve various problems, including the screen black and white letters indicating the mode without failure, or count down the regular opening.  System Restore has used several times, all software removed and replaced.  New Quickbooks reinstalled two times 10, it usually starts up quickly.  I was told not to turn it off, just let it run.  It automatically goes into sleep mode, it still does not start correctly.  Last message is that Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown;  Windows can check online for a solution to the problem.  Problem event name: bluescreen

  • Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown.

    I have a laptop Dell Inspiron (1440) running under Vista and often get the message "windows has recovered" when I start first to the top. Recently, I was not able to get anything on my screen despite the white power light being on. I could not turn off the power with the switch, with or without him being connected.  I don't know if these two probs are related.  I copied the info from a couple of newspapers of the events below.  Someone has an idea what is the problem or how it could be solved?

    1. have you plugged an IEEE 1394 device?
     
    There could be several reasons for this code error. Usually, it is caused by power failure of the State on the drivers updated especially display and network card drivers and sound card drivers.
    I suggest you update the drivers for all the hardware from the manufacturer's Web site.

    Of all the posts that I read it like this which is a software or hardware problem with Vista (maybe the driver).  There are resolutons example 1) passing through your materiel Manager & check all the settings to see if it is unchecked for PC mode 'sleep' or 2) puts up-to-date KB973879 & KB972036 that caused problems & when uninstalled fixed their & brighter 3) corresponds to the ID of the Article: 958233 "how to fix mistakes BlueScreen (STOP) that cause Windows Vista to shut down or restart unexpectedly".
    Like I said that this PC is brand new - first powered on 02-09-09 (However the software was installed Dell - it could be a problem until I switched on?).  I don't have to connect a keyboard and mouse usb normal then a Blueray Logitech keyboard and mouse, HP printer (I have since deleted/rebooted several times since), system of Bose speakers &, of course, the monitor.
    So my question is I guess that, before I start to do restorations system & other things mentioned in the article above for a problem that nobody seems to have a real handle on there new info out there to share.  What about the problem of the reports that are sent to Microsoft?  Can I expect any resolution of those?  Have automatic updates on, there I should delete?  I have a free upgrade to WINDOWS 7, when that will be released?  Can only solve the problem?
    Is it possible to dig to determine which driver might be causing the problem if it is a driver problem?

    Run the SFC/scannow in the link I posted and check the log file, as shown here.

    Ntoskrnl.exe is a Vista system file and it blocks due to the cause of this problem, which is probably no more
    material - not properly seated graphics card or a power supply problem or driver problems.

    Remove ALL power to the system - open the case and remove and reinstall the cards. Remove and reinstall
    all the cables (do try not just to close) on both ends for those who may have removable ends (this
    to remove minor corrosion).

    Here is my generic driver update and see the other methods on the page I you referred to above.

    For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
    Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
    video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
    cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
    This will refresh the driver stack.

    Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
    own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

    Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
    (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
    updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

    Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

    Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
    because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
    pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

    Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

    Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

    If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver in the Windows updates,
    This leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who are generally older and cause

  • Why I get a message: Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown?

    Just a few minutes while I was watching a show about Hula noise continued while the video did not. The video remained on the same stroke of the screen then on the screen came a message about a problem and need to stop. There was a little more, but the message did not stay long. The message was something on "If you've seen this message before... "and I saw that, but it was about two months ago.

    Hello, I have a problem with my laptop.  This has never happened before and just recently it spent d ' attribute.  I mainly use FireFox.  One day while browsing in the laptop froze as I began to browse Facebook with Internet Explorer.  It was frozen and stayed like that for over an hour.  The mouse icon showed something treatment but it shouldn't take an hour or more to process.  After pressing the power button to turn it off manually, I restarted.  A ran memtest that found no problem with the memory.  The HARD drive has been analyzed using System Mechanic for errors and claimed that fixed it.  I ran defrag my computer C:\ [Properties].  It froze again just by going to the homepage on FireFox.  After the reboot it froze after that came the message "Windows has recovered from a stop unexpected.".  I couldn't move the mouse, not capable of what be a right-click or bring up the Task Manager, but the mouse icon appears to show the transformation is done whenever I brought on the Windows error message.  What does that mean?  I've noticed more than a moment of mobsync.exe running when the system froze.

    Laptop a 3gigs of RAM and an Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor.  For some reason any reduced by concerts every week HARD disk space.  I'll update more and give more detailed specifications as soon as I can get my hands on my other diagnostic software.
