  First if all would be very useful to know which model of laptop you have.
  Second, you could find the driver of his right on the page of Toshiba and so you n t need to test several audio drivers! The one on the Toshiba driver site works for sure.

  Assuming that your system meets, or in the case of your vid card, exceeds the minimum requirements of the CS5 system, I would be leaning on Nvidia for a solution to the question of pilot - is applied a fix to an existing driver or to help you identify an older driver version that is compatible with the configuration that you have running.  You do not provide a lot of information here, the model # and/or specifications of the HP system your quadro card works in 32 or 64 bit OS, using cs5 32 or 64-bit, or exactly which version of the driver is running your graphics card.  NVIDIA, or anyone trying to help you with this question, going to need this information.

  A quick google search brings up some success showing the problems of this nature.  Just one example, the Adobe forums, a year ago: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3142008.

  The question in this post was not marked as "resolved", but it illustrates there may be several different issues leading to your error message.  I would recommend looking in the Adobe forums, you can find a solution?  Or, at the very least, you will be able to exclude some things for when you report the problem to Nvidia.

  During this time, obviously: did you always have this problem?  If this is not the case, have you tried rolling back to use a driver Nvidia oldest, known for work with your version of cs5?

  You mentioned that you updated the driver less than two months ago.  It seems that the latest driver available from Nvidia is dated August 12, 2011.  What is the date of the driver you are currently using?

  For me, it looks like a graphics driver issue.
  Your M70 seems to be a European model and this is why you must use the graphics drivers that are specifically designed for this model of laptop but unfortunately I checked on the European pilot site and found nothing :(
  I noticed that Toshiba releases every week new drivers for various notebook series.
  Maybe you unit series will appear both in the text

  But nevertheless, this problem is very strange, a friend of mine installed Vista on the M70 and something like this didn't happen.

  You are right. Tools & utilities are not the same for Windows XP Home and Vista edition. First of all, it will be interesting to know what model of laptop you have. You must know that all portable Windows XP Home edition are not Vista support and if you have a laptop without Vista capable sticker you will not be able to find all this stuff for your laptop.

  Please post your model of laptop. Maybe someone can give you more information on the Vista support.

  What is you receive the exact error message?

  Step 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...) Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

  If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.  Then get any drivers\software update for the device.

  Step 2: start the computer in last good known Configuration (and also in safe mode). To do this, follow the steps below:

  Access Advanced Startup menu options by turning on your computer and pressing the button F8 continuously until Windows starts. In the boot advanced options, select last good known Configuration-Safe Mode

  I have a Lenovo Think Pad Edge 1143-b4g E520 and I installed Windows 8 on a clean drive. I installed all the drivers, that are available for Windows 8 in the Lenovo Download Section. All devices are ready, save the switchable HD6630 video card (I disabled ist for now, because I have no need for next time; the driver isn't ready, but support from Lenovo said it will be available shortly).

  However, with Win 7 I could use my laptop 3-5 hours dependingof my use. With 8 win the maximum is 2.5 hours. If I take a glance in the Task Manager, when the thinkpad is idle, the CPU is idling also between 0 a 2%. Who are the same values as with Windows 7.

  I installed the newly released for Windows 8 power management driver, but nothing has changed.

  So it comes to a computer you built yourself or built a generic, not a machine OEM brand? If it is an OEM brand machine you get the drivers from the website of the OEM, not directly from Intel. If it is a generic office, try to throw in a PCI network card and see if that helps. One you use is perhaps not all that compatible with Vista. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!
